Advance is getting to expensive bought reflective tape over $17.00 other places selling same tape under $10.00 big mark up.

Feeling Lucky. My dog and I had just started out our 1600 mile drive from Virginia to Colorado in my 2002 4Runner when something felt different and the check engine light started flashing. I limped along to Advanced Auto in Covington, Va and a very kind and helpful young man named Chase came to my rescue. From the moment I walked up to the counter, he was warm and welcoming. You know when you can just tell when someone wants to help and do a good job? Well, that was the vibe I got from Chase. He ended up finding a spark plug that had come disconnected and was just hanging there. He re-connected it and I was on my way. The 4Runner made it to Colorado 3 days later. Thank you Chase, I will always remember that day and how generous you were with your knowledge and expertise, and kindness too. Kindness goes a long way in life. More than we give it credit.

Our family was driving from out of town and broke down in the highway. After a 2 mile walk I was able to get in to find the tiny part I needed. Although the part wasn't in stock the team spent quite a while calling around everywhere to help me out. They were able to order the part which would take 4 hours to deliver. They offered my family and I their personal space to wait it out like they knew us personally. They were empathetic and showed real care. After all said and done they even gave us all a ride back to the car and ensured that I was able to fix it. Wonderful staff and people. I never write reviews so to this to the bank.

It's ok but they act like I don't know my way around a vehicle ,My BFF my hero tought me about different vehicles & I thank the lord that I had my BFF my hero for as long as I did.

Some people don't know there butts from a hike in the ground here when you walk in sometimes you get a good one and sometimes you don't

Purchased a DieHard Platnium car battery ($240.00). Took home and installed only to determine it was defective and dead. Drove back to the store (38 miles roundtrip) to replace only to discover that the other Platinum DieHard they had was also defective! Had them refund my money and went to another Auto Parts store!

They are very helpful and friendly service they have what you need I give them 5 more*****

If you throw Hybrid Solutions 3in1 detailer out the door, I'll give you 5 stars. It is garbage. And your people really should know what DEF or diesel exhaust fluid is used for!

Ordered U bolts for my 95 C-1500 on 2/13/21.Went to pick them up the next morning and all I got was excuses on why they didn't have them .After I got a confirmation on the price and that they had been ordered and ready to be shipped 2/13/21 , overnight ..And to my surprise 2/14/21 went to pick up my parts, there was none.. Thanks for nothing Advance Auto in Covington Va..My business is going elsewhere!!!!

This establishment area clean the staff are professional they will give you and if anything is wrong with your purchase or would not then they will help you until they make it correct the prices are a little more expensive than what the website says but overall it is a good place to shop

Been going there for years, walked up to counter and waited and man walk up look at me picked up some stuff off the counter and walked away. Never said anything. So I told them if they didn't want to wait on me I'll take my business somewhere else and I left.. went to AutoZone got what I needed.

The employees that Covington advance really seem to know what they were talking about. I even had a young man come out and change windshield wiper blades for me and they worked. They were also the right size. I am glad that they finally have someone who knows what they're doing good job!

Ordered online and picked up in store same day. The sales rep was fast and courteous. Had a bad experience the day before with a different rep having lots of trouble finding the parts I needed, leading to the online sale.

Went in and ask a parts pro to come out and show me how to check the transmission fluid in my car. I didn't want them to touch it. Now come on its not a automatic and there is no dipstick to be found. They were coming out for others so after sitting there for over ten minutes I just looked it up on YouTube. Y return of their not gonna help when I need it.

Terrible service. Simple purchase of a car battery with installation. I even asked before the purchase if they would be able to install and was told yes no problem they would be out to help as soon as they took a phone call. 45 min later I went back inside and was then told they'd get to me when they can.
