Unexpected flat tire in the middle of nowhere. I called AAA and Lacy showed up way sooner than expected! He was very nice, professional and quick. My daughter and I were on our way in no time! I don't think I need AAA anymore. Just call Backwoods Towing & Recovery.
I had a really great experience with this towing company. Lacy showed up within the timeframe quoted to me which was great since I was on my way to work when I got a flat tire. He was very professional, polite, and courteous. He showed me where my tire was damaged which caused the flat. Overall he was quite pleasant and really saved my day. I can't thank him enough for his help! Definitely a great guy to have on the team!!
Brian was awesome! He went above and beyond expectations. He took me to the only motel in town and helped me check me in. It was after the shop was closed and he texted the shop owner (Ryan) to give him a heads up. He stopped at Burger King so I could grab some dinner. The repair went well and he picked me up at the motel the next day and took me to pick up the car. Great customer service to take care of a stranded motorist after work hours. Thanks Brian!!!
We were so impressed with the service we received from Backwoods Towing and Recovery today. My husband and I are elderly and we had a flat tire in a remote area of the county. I was sure it would be hours before anyone could get to us but help arrived timely. Even though it was very cold, the tire was quickly changed and we were on our way. You seldom receive courteous and professional service like this anymore. We were so grateful and definitely recommend this company.
Got a flat on 360 and Lacey from Backwoods Towing was on the scene within ~ 15 mins. He got it fixed super quick and I was back on the road and made it home. He was nice and communicated with me that he was on the way too. 10/10 experience.

Was quoted 75 for my tire to be roadside plugged. Roadside arrived in a timely fashion he was polite but didn't have a patch kit luckily I had a spare he put it on ect but still wanted full 75 I said no that's not fair to me so long story short they took off 10 so I can have it plugged and put back on elsewhere. Fair exchange I thank you fellas.
James and his staff worked on my daughter's car...actually she picked it up today. She went to Backwoods shop with a vehicle that needed a flywheel, brakes, rotors...all sorts of major mechanical needs. James had the vehicle in the shop when he promised and did an excellent job. Because of the extent of the mechanical work needed the price wasn't too bad. He and his staff were very courteous and professoonal. Would definitely recommend them for future mechanical needs. I was traveling 360 heading to Richmond and my front tire went flat. Backwoods Towing & Recovery were dispatched to me and they were there to me in a decent timeframe. The gentleman was Lacey and he was super awesome and friendly. I was very pleased by these guys to get me and my daughter going before it actually got dark. I noticed right off that my groceries were missing when I picked up my car. I let that slide. When I went to my locked up trunk to get my tools out, 1/2 of them were also missing. Since they were the only ones that had the key to the trunk and doors, I have to believe that they are responsible for the theft, one way or another .
I locked my keys in my car and was sooooo agitated! This company helped me tremendously! They were fast, I only waited 20mins and the guy named Lacy showed up and was on his job! Very professional and friendly and definitely got the job done!!! I would highly recommend
A gentleman (I did not get his name) with a Backwoods Towing & Recovery T-shirt came to our aid when we called AAA after getting a nail in our tire on a recent trip. He responded quickly and was very professional. The nail was fairly close to the edge to the tire tread, so it was not the easiest of repairs. But he was diligent to get a plug inserted and we were back on the road in just under an hour. Very thankful for this great service!
These guys are a real class act! One of my Chevy 5500 (not a small vehicle) broke down on the highway. ON EASTER. These guys gave me an estimate of 60-90 minutes and showed up in about 35. ON EASTER. FOR A MEDIUM DUTY. Excellent communication the whole time, too. Really awesome!
When I call he answer on 3 ring. Said will have someone there in 15 mins. Well he was there in 18mins. What is good I thought would be longer then that. I asked them for price when he got there and gave me GOOD price..... I asked him could he take it to the house and I was running up to ATM and I would be there he said ok...So when I got there he was taking it off. I paid he and thanked him so much bc I call 2 other place but no answer. Thanks yall so much for coming out on a holiday weekend and helping us!!! Will use yall again.....
I was coming home from work and had a flat tire. The nicest two guys from Backwoofs Towing stopped and changed my tire for me. It was quick and they were super friendly. Awesome customer service!!!
