Bought a van from them 2 months ago, drove it for 2 weeks and the transmission goes out. We take it to a mechanic he had told us he dealt with them before and they were crooks. They also placed another inspection sticker on the van that did not go on there with scotch tape. They did his sister n law the same way. Don't ever go there!!!! They sell junk and don't bother to help you get it fixed not take responsibility. We are reaching out to the state police for the fraud of the stickers. Taking people's money is very dishonest and discouraging when they are just looking for a trustworthy person and car.

The guy was so rude tried to sell a car that had water leaking from the sunroof mold on the inside electrical stuff did not work and he was not willing to negotiate at all on the price had anothe truck with a dead battery didn’t want to jump the truck but would sell it as is this was the worse car lot I’ve ever been to

Absolutely the worst car dealership in the country!! Call them 15 times to finally get in touch with then . Then agreed to purchase a SUV from them. I immediately forwarded all my info and a credit card for FULL PAYMENT plus credit card fee. They then ghosted me for a full week. Then contacted me after I called and emailed 2 times a day for a full week that they sold the car to someone else. HORRIBLE LYING DEGENERES DONT EVER EVER TRUST THESE CROOKS

Buyer be ware! Looked at a 2002 jeep with a current inspection sticker and the turn signals and high beams wouldn't work. And saw someone test driving a ford f150 and returned it with the wheel about to fall off

Me and my fiance came in a month ago and couple weeks after purchasing a 2005 jeep Cherokee the main module PCM messed up and it's costing me $1,000 to fix. The car was set at a good price but still selling the car and not even a month goes by before something serious like that goes wrong and costs you that much money really is disappointing. This is also setting us back from being able to get a place to call home for our baby due in January. Still a good car once fixed and even with the $1,000 fee to fix it the price is still fair. Just make sure you bring someone with you who can check the car out because they will not compensate you at all if something goes wrong. Cheap cars at a hit and miss. I do recommend if you know how to see if something is wrong with the vehicle your interested in!! But the hassle when something does go wrong and the money it can cost is why I'm leaving a 3 star review.

Claim to be open from 9-5 Monday through Friday I have came every day this week and I haven’t seen a single person I try calling and it goes to voicemail I tried knocking on the door and no one answered. I’m just trying to pick up a title.

I bought a used Jetta TDI in 2015. It as still running until 2024 at 330,000 miles until someone hit it and totaled it. Liked any used cars, parts were replaced over time but I got a good car.

Stop saying "we've been in business 30 years must be doing something right". Preying on desperate people with discount cars would keep anyone in business. Selling someone a vehicle that has catastrophic engine failure within a week and not giving any sort of refund is inexcusable. Your business would have been closed long ago if lemon laws applied to used sales. Your success is a product of the failures of the law.

Sam was very helpful from the beginning. Come to look at 1 car but didn't meet my needs he ended up showing me 3 before I decided on one. I bought a SUV from them 4 years ago still driving it on a daily.

My daughter bought a car from them and within a week it broke down. She has tried to contact the owner to discuss the contract and warranty and try and either get her money back or another car. Or at least have them take a look at the car. They have not called her back or even cared to check to check on her. It seems they are avoiding her.this is really upsetting because she has two small children and is a single mother. She needs a vehicle. This place is not very professional!

HORRIBLE customer service. Looking to buy a car and I asked a simple hypothetical question, only to be completely talked down to by whoever is working their phones. After I clarified they misunderstood my question, they doubled down on being condescending and then asked when I was going to come in and look at the vehicle. I couldn’t imagine talking to someone the way they did me and then fully believe I’ve interested them in coming to my establishment to spend money with me. NEGATIVE STARS because google makes you at least give one star as a participation trophy. Update/Response to the Owner: Again you did not listen to what I was saying over the phone nor did you understand when I tried to explain, and I was not laughing anything off I was actually appalled by your behavior. Based on your google reviews, rather than take accountability for bad service you guys would prefer to go out of your way and discredit someone’s critiques. The whole story is there and even though you all seem to take complaints/criticisim as an attack, this was simply a note on professionalism.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Paid $6200 for a 2012 Volvo and a week after I got it, I ended up having to replace the water pump. This was causing it to have a check engine light, as well as some other things going on with it. (Catalytic converter clogged, O2 sensor) When I originally test drove the car, I asked him about the check engine light and he said it just “needs to be reset.” Also asked him about the reverse light and the brake light that was out (freshly inspected vehicle) and he said he’d fix it. When we went back out and looked at it, he told me my lights were working which was a blatant lie. I asked him about some squeaking, which I found out later to be a broken shock, but his response was “it’s just an older car and that’s what they do.” The list goes on and on of things wrong with it. I do understand it’s an older vehicle and things happen but Fred didn’t have to lie about these problems when I asked about them. The 30 day tags just expired and they hadn’t even done my paperwork for the title. I had to go back down there and retrieve my title. At first, he couldn’t even find it but then he magically found it in a box of titles they had. I wouldn’t recommend going to this place to buy a vehicle. You would think after spending that much money on a car, it would at least last a week before needing to have things replaced. Seems like they are just slapping inspection stickers and oil change stickers on every car. I had a low oil light come on the first week and had to add some. This is a very unprofessional and dishonest business.

This place is great if you take your time to check out the vehicle before you buy. Some are junk, but there are also some good deals. I bought a vehicle from here and had no problems at all. They usually have a good selection, and people are quite friendly.

My wife and I including our toddler sons were sold a vehicle that we were expected to drive 30 minutes back home with no rear brakes. And when I say no breaks I mean they were completely gone the front brakes were also celebrating a century all four rotors were gone severe brake fluid leak power steering leak plastic pieces wedged in the muffler and motor system causing melting all over the place with three tires with busted tire cords bad catalytic converter and a slew of other repairs that still need to be done that directly affect safety of the driver and passengers that should have been disclosed upon purchase that were not they only care about dollar signs instead of basic safety and basic business practices that or fair and reasonable that also is cond Additionally, (according to Virginia state police)another tidbit that might be useful to consider for potential buyers that they have a special relationship with a particular inspection station company/shop in fincastle Virginia in which they do and perform all of their inspections which I'm sure is why I was so in vehicle that according to multiple mechanics that should never have passed inspection even factoring the minimum requirements for a inspection station to pass a vehicle. Once again the vehicle had no brakes at all in the rear ucive to safety of their customers

No stars (at this time). I bought a car (2nd one actually) for my daughter, and on the way HOME (20 miles) it overheated. Took it to the mechanic immediately, and it had a cracked cylinder head/blown head gasket. Mechanic said it was done for sometime by the looks of it, and that it had gotten extremely overheated at some point in the past. So far, $5600 in repairs for a $3400 car. Not what anyone is looking for. I've contacted Bailey's to see if they would help me out, $1000 bucks or SOMETHING... We'll see. I realize we buy them As-Is - but selling a car with known mechanical issues without disclosing them fully - might be a legal issue. I'm going to wait and see if I get a call back - do they care or are they just out to make a buck... 1st car I bought has ran fairly well so far, which is why I returned. Just know that if you shop here, you better know cars/engines and what to look for. I've learned the hard way.

do NOT come here for a vehicle at all. i bought a suv here and it lasted me ONE day.. ONE.. the next day the motor blew and was rod knocking.. this was also a low mileage car. I repeat people DONT come here at all and the owner does not care. The title also took a very long time to receive and when we called them about it a month later all they said was "it has been ready". They are not professional whatsoever

My father bought a Jeep here a couple years ago, I think it ran about 13 miles before it broke down after he purchased it from them. Definitely stay away at all costs, and if you really want to buy something from here there is a garage right down the street you should drive it to on your test drive and have it checked first.

For an 'as is', we've purchased two cars and no complaints. The staff recommended a top notch vehicle. Only needed a coolant. If your looking for a place to purchase a new car without having to worry about the price go here. Just make sure you go ahead and get fluids changed as the car may have been sitting. Blessings.

Purchased 2 cars from them this year, and the experience couldn't have been easier. Pick the car, fill out a few papers, pay, take car home, get title in a couple weeks - seriously the easiest car experience ever. One is a 94 and the other an 08 - both were outstanding deals for what they are...Bailey's sales used cars...things are going to come up. If you aren't prepared for repairs, then buying basically wholesale cars probably isn't the best plan..or at least spend a little $ and have a mechanic check it out before you buy!

Worst car dealership experience I've had in many, many years. Salesman was rude and wouldn't let me test drive the car unless I nearly agreed to buy it on the spot, money in hand. Told him I was comparing the car to a couple of others in town, and even though I was interested, would need to test drive the car and think about it before I bought (like any reasonable person). He walked away. What kind of dealership expects to sell $3K cars without a test drive? To say I will never be back is to put it mildly, and I would advise anyone to avoid this dealership like the plague.

This car lot has tons of used cars, some look decent, some look like they should be in a junk yard. None of them appear to be cleaned up. You're really rolling the dice getting a vehicle here cause most of the cars were bought at auctions. I've heard good & bad things about their vehicles. They don't finance in house.

I notice that most of the negative reviews on here are because the customer failed to properly inspect the vehicle prior to buying. My wife and I bought a Honda Odyssey here two years ago for an incredible deal. Now, 40k miles later, we are still well pleased with the vehicle. Take a moment, check the car out, and test drive. Plenty of awesome deals exist here. Bailey's doesn't finance, but you can always pay with a credit card, for a fee. All vehicles require maintenance and upkeep, these guys aren't superheroes, they're car salesmen, and they perform with aplomb.

Been here multiple times to look at vehicles. The first time I was here I started two vehicles and the batteries were dead, went in and told the gentleman that they were dead and he jumped them off so I could hear the vehicles run. Came back a few weeks later and found the vehicle that I bought. It is a buy as is place so even though I had some minor issues with the vehicle I bought its not their fault. Love this place and would recommend it if you are looking for a vehicle. They do not do leins it is a buy in full place. Got my title quickly and love my jeep. Thanks baileys!!!

Love my car, but can't stand the service. Still waiting on our title in the mail, and our 1 month temp tag expires in 4 days. Even if the title ends up here in the next few days, my review will stay the same. We have been told on numerous occasions, including the day we bought the car and follow up calls, that the title would be in our hands within a week. Now, even if it gets here, we may have to take off work to get to the DMV for our tags rather than having several weeks to go on our own time.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE! I bought a Mazda 6 from there & not even a day later the motor started knocking and a day later the car was COMPLETELY blown up. It drove great when I was there and on the way home. I wouldn't reccomend buying a car from here, they are nothing but crooks. I now have a buy a motor that cost half of what the car cost me! If you don't want to be screwed over than I suggest not getting a car from here.

Great deal on a car.. If u want a good price and take the time to check out the vehicle you will save thousands. If you want someone to hold you hand and give you a warranty and blow smoke you’re at the wrong place. These guys have a huge selection great price but know what you are buying beforehand.

I didn't have an awful experience but I did end up putting more money than I was comfortable with into the car I ended up purchasing. I bought a 04 mazda 3. It was the only car that didn't have any dash lights on or any major cosmetic issues. I read all reviews before going here and buying a car. I advise anyone going here to take a mechanic or take someone with you who knows everything about cars. The sales people don't hassle you they just hand you keys and let you walk around and look at cars as you want. And I did get them to drop the price of my car 100 dollars. They did try to get me to wait to take it to a mechanic to have it checked out a little deeper and I didn't listen bc I thought we were good that was my fault. But all in all I needed a vehicle and they have cheap vehicles. Instead of spending 5000 and still having a monthly payment I will end up spending 3500 (which is still more than I was comfortable with) and having no payment. It has high miles and with any high mile cars they are gonna have problems. I am currently driving car daily and it works perfectly for me. So I am happy with my purchase...this is just a buyer beware place. AGAIN IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY A CAR HERR HAVE IT CHECKED OUT BY A MECHANIC FIRST. I will most likely return to buy another vehicle in the future.

I've bought 2 cars there. It is like Goodwill for cars. They don't offer any warranty, they don't really even try to sell you a car. They just slap a bargain basement price on the car and it's 100% buyer beware. They don't haggle on $. If you aren't comfortable taking on the burden of really vetting your purchase and need hand holding don't stop here. If you are willing to work a little, you can usually find a diamond in the pile of cars for a great price.

BE CAREFUL! This is a "car-mill" kind of dealer. They don't check anything about their vehicles before they turn around and sell them. I looked at a 2002 civic they had and when I turned the key to test it out...nothing happened. Back those went in a hurry! They don't do carfax either. If you want to know anything about the car you have to do it yourself. I DID end up buying another civic from them but that was after I took the car to a mechanic to make sure everything was in good order. If you're going to look at a car from them, be sure to have it carefully checked before you decide anything.
