ACTUAL THIEVES. I parked my car for 10 mins in a "2 hour zone" and went to the permitted location (Starbucks - which is clearly listed on the sign in the picture) at Hoffman Center in ALX. Dominion stole $180 after I legally parked and entered the Starbucks (again no more than 10 mins). Will be having my bank cancel the transaction for theft.

Thieves is a understatement. Try having a parking pass in the front windshield. Management clearly told us to park there and don't worry about it . Vehicle was too tall for parking garage. Although management said they will reimburse because they shouldn't of towed because where the vehicle was parked. Because 6 vehicles was parked there. But of course they decide to touch the business vehicle. Management never called them to touch vehicle. Criminals is more like it $320

They are NOT careful with vehicles. Brand new Acura MDX, less than 500 miles, now has a cracked front bumper. One piece bumper with all the electronics integrated. Submitting claim, will see how honest they are. Will probably be 2k in damages. Saw the way the driver was driving with other vehicles and on way to collect more vehicles, reckless and too fast. I know why my vehicle was damaged. Terrible, don't use them!

Illegally towed my car. I was parked in a spot that had no signs stating I needed a permit. There were spots that did warn about being towed, that is why I did not park in those spots. I wasn't even gone for 20 minutes. You owe me $230! The lady at the pick up area was somewhat nice though.

Wrongfully towed from the property. The number plates just changed, and I tried to change the plates number online, but didn't work and they towed my car charging me $230 even tho my guest pass was active. When you register your car they require you to put vin number but when towing oh they check only the license plate.

Please be advised that you can always file a complaint against these towing companies if you believe they are illegally overcharging or towing your vehicle while you're present and the vehicle is still on the premises! They violated § 46.2-1231 for refusing to drop my vehicle when I waved them down before it left the premises and violated § 46.2-1233.1 for overcharging fees. Please know your rights, folks; these people are predatory. Maybe next time, be professional when people are waving you down. In addition, do not have AirPods in while playing Legends of Zelda while trying to fix the situation in person.

Towing my car all the way from the second floor of my garage residence… a garage I pay 160 box for, then charge me 205 to get my car back! What’s that called? Thievery, extortion. I hope many folks put in complaints with the new law. These thugs need to be stopped!

I would give them a minus star if google had one! They had audacity to tow our car with the parking permit sticker from our own parking spot!

200, 201, 202 Please explain to me how My being properly parked in 201 when 202 is the next space over is a violation. This will be forwarded as a complaint to the Va Attorney General on Monday. The acura is 202

I understand it’s a towing company and it’s just not a fun experience over all, but the lady who worked early Monday March 16 2020, 3 am was absolutely one of the most foul human-beings I’ve ever encountered. Slammed the sliding window in my face, cussed at me a couple times, refused to give me her name and even flicked me off. Just foul. I’m usually fairly forgiving with people but this lady absolutely deserves all the back lash she gets. There’s a reason they interact with people through a sliding window with no door access to avoid people from breaking their necks... 🤷🏾‍♀️ Any way if your vehicle gets towed to this location, I’m praying for you, and hope you have a better experience than I did!

You will never ever see a 5star review for a person whose vehicle was towed. However I was illegally parked and was wrong. No I didn't want to give up 160.00 bucks. But these guys were professional and my property was not damaged in anyway. I hope that we never have to meet again. But you guys have a job to do. Tell Phil hello!

Property Manager here! I switched to Dominion from another local company after meeting with Josh Gleason. He is super easy to reach and helped me get the most out of my parking spaces. We have cleaned up our garage and opened up so many spaces for residents and visitors! They set-up clear signage and can be reached at all times. I am really happy with our partnership and look forward to many years of working together.

I always call this towing company because you guys are “in charge” on towing in my neighborhood. But ever since COVID hit you guys use any excuse and I mean ANY EXCUSE to not come. I’ve had these annoying neighbors who park right in front of my house almost everyday. Right in front of my driveway and every time I call you guys hit me with “because of COVID .. “ cars don’t get COVID last time I checked. I live in Les Dorson Ln in Alexandria and you guys literally never come. This car that I’ve attached below is always here in fact I took this picture THIS MORNING after calling and you guys declined to move it. I can’t get into my driveway because of them. We have a huge SUV so we need room to drive into our own driveway. Ridiculous. Do your job.

Predatory towing company that "serves" landmark area apartments and parking lots. They will damage your car. Protip: Leave a dog in the front seats when parked in a complex and they won’t tow due to liability issues. The more aggressive & loud the better (Rottweiler, Pitbulls) Also they cannot tow if there is a person in the car as well, (have a willing buddy take a nap while you visit an apt resident.)

Upon my arrival at 7:45 AM, I was greeted by a staff member whose demeanor can only be described as shockingly rude and abrasive. Throughout our interaction, it became abundantly clear that she lacked the most fundamental understanding of customer service principles, as evidenced by her consistent interruption of my inquiries and her blatant refusal to allow me to articulate my concerns fully. Despite my attempts to engage in a civil discourse and seek clarification regarding the handling of my car, I was met with a barrage of dismissive responses and outright hostility. Not only was I denied the opportunity to physically inspect my car, but I was also met with unwarranted hostility when I dared to question the rationale behind this restriction. Her repeated retort of "because I said so" is not only indicative of a complete lack of accountability but also demonstrates a profound disrespect for me as a paying customer. It is abundantly clear that the individual in question not only lacks the most rudimentary understanding of proper customer service etiquette but also possesses a blatant disregard for ethical conduct. The behavior exhibited by your staff member is nothing short of disgraceful and is entirely incongruent with the values your establishment purports to uphold. As a patron of your establishment, I demand a thorough investigation into this matter and the immediate implementation of corrective measures to address the gross misconduct perpetrated by your staff member. Furthermore, I expect a comprehensive response detailing the steps being taken to prevent such incidents from recurring in the future. Failure to address this matter promptly and decisively will only serve to further erode the already tenuous trust between your establishment and its clientele. It is evident that neither you nor your staff prioritize customer well-being, and you absolutely did not watch any kind of footage, and there is no steps were taken to correct this demeanor since you do NOT show any kind of responsibility and accountability toward business customers or employees. I demand immediate action to address this misconduct and a sincere apology for the mistreatment I endured.

They absolutely suck. I live in a community in where I have to call if someone is parked in my reserved spot (I know already ridiculous) and this lady won’t send someone out because there’s snow covering my spot? Like and? So every time leaves fall or everytime it snows, I can’t get someone to tow someone elses car from my spot that I already paid for?!?!!

Complaint Regarding Towing Incident on 12/3/2023 Dear Dominion Towing Inc, I am writing to express my formal complaint regarding an incident that occurred on 12/3/2023 involving the towing of my vehicle. On that day, I faced an emergency and had to quickly stop by a loved one's apartment at Edsall Garden apartments for assistance. Upon returning to retrieve my vehicle, I observed it being towed. Despite my attempts to communicate with the driver, who was parked at the time, he ignored my pleas and drove away. I urgently ran after the driver, explaining that I was late for work, but my appeals were disregarded. Within 10 minutes, I reached your towing location to retrieve my vehicle, only to be informed that I needed to pay $230. I was taken aback and deeply disappointed by this treatment. Emergencies are inevitable, and as fellow humans, understanding and compassion should be extended. Having to pay such a substantial amount within a short timeframe for a situation that could have been avoided is unreasonable. I kindly request an opportunity to discuss my grievances and explore alternative resolutions to this matter. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I can't understand how this company work. they took my car in less then 20min when i was just dropping my grocery so i put it next to the elevator . The same car been parking in a reserverd spot for more then a week with no sticker . I ask why not this car they said they will send someone, that never happen. And they make me pay 180$ for less then a hour

Predatory business practices. One of their drivers watched my daughter walk to a restaurant that anyone would think was ok to go to after parking in a lot. He took a picture of her walking then towed her car. I hope karma swings back quickly.

This location out of all the locations in the DMV is top tier. I have been using them for my business for quite some time. Very great at communication and reasonable. Obviously, people will leave bad reviews because they are upset at their car being towed. Lovely ownership! Keep up the great work. :)

Car got towed (which can’t quite blame the tower they are doing their job), but I was towed from a shopping/ apartment parking lot that has no hours, and I was just dropping off a friend; I was there for max ten minutes. The part I take issue with is my car had the parking break on and was locked, when I picked up the car the parking break was off and my car gave me the notification ‘theft attempt’. Which means they some how got into my car which is violating and should be illegal.

Manager only concerned about money and greed. Couldn’t care less when an obvious mistake was made and if someone is going through a hard time financially. When letting the clerk know, she smiled and closed the door on me.

Dominion towing does predatory towing where they will use signs at the front of entrances nowhere near where you parked to lehally tow your car away. They towed me infront of my house where I live where I have a parking pass and because it was infront of a paid meter which is where visitors parking is and it has no signs saying that parking passes aren't allowed to park there. Dominion towing is scamming the lower and middle class out of food from their mouths and they should be bankrupted if god is good

Dominion Towing has done an amazing job in our community by being very personal and responsive. We have some very awkward parking situations in our community in Alexandria so it is very helpful that they are here to put the needs of the customer first.

I had a guest over at 755pm we parked the jeep on the guest parking floor. I immediately went down to print off a parking permit to prevent this issue and within the time I was printing the paper the jeep was towed at 805pm. As you can see in the pictures they dragged the jeep all over the place leaving tire marks and scuffing up the tires. At this point I am very upset. I called them to see if they had the jeep and of course they did. So we drove to the lot in the middle of no where. Ended up paying 160$ to get the jeep back after they had it for about 30 minutes. We asked the man at the counter for all the information on the driver that towed the jeep and he said he will give us all the information that he has which was a lie. on the receipt it only gave us his driver id. We wanted more information on the driver that towed us, and as we were walking to the jeep another tow truck came in so my friend went over to the truck trying to get a picture of the license plate number and that set this man off. He started swearing at her and then sped up and slammed on his breaks coming to a sliding stop very close to us. Then he continued to be very rude to us. anyways these guys suck at everything they do. very very poor towing company and business. pretty sad when the workers start arguments with their customers. Must be a real honor working for this company HA. This place needs -5 star. Horrible people and even worse service.

The one and only problem I have with this company is they need to understand they’re a towing company. No one likes towing companies. When it’s 2:40 in the morning and you’re towing my car from the apartment complex I live in, and I just paid for you to drop MY car… the last thing I want to do is explain 700 times to you to just charge my credit card and let me be on my way. I don’t want to be your buddy or have you explain that you’re a good guy just doing your job. Take the 50 bucks and just leave. Additionally, When I’m there trying to pay you $160 on another occasion at 3AM to get my car back…. Tell the lady at the front desk to put out her cigarette and take my money instead of messing around and moving like a sloth while blowing smoke in my face and slamming the window shut.

They towed my rental car from my own apartment, from the garage that i pay to be in. I had a visitors pass and everything. they couldn't see the visitors pass, so they towed it. I asked my property manager how much it would cost and she said they only charge $150. I said, no problem, I'll explain and we should be fine..... WRONG. They charged me $250 because of the weight of the truck they towed.... sounds legit, right? yeah. Then I told them I was a resident, showed them the pass and my rent bill and everything, and instead they charged me anyways and said I was parked in two spaces... I was driving an F250 truck for my rental. I guess I was somewhat in the space next to me considering the parking spots are small and the truck is huge. either way, they jipped me out of $250 for a charge that didn't exist.
