These guys are the best! I purchased three batteries and countless wiper blades from this , over the years, each time they have been eager to help, often without me even asking. This community is so lucky to have this establishment. You will always have my Auto Parts!!

This Advance Auto Parts accepts old oil for disposal. Unfortunately, I had to wait over 10 minutes for service as no one was behind the counter or in the store. Overall the store was clean, well-stocked and had a large free parking lot.

Unprofessional service. Vern, who I believe is the manager, threw his hands in the air when we requested the battery installation service that is advertised all over the store. While waiting for the service, we witnessed his poor attitude resurface to several in-store customers and callers. Eventually, he provided the installation service while accosting us for “not knowing” to change a battery.

Shop seemed clean but shelfs were lightly stocked. Waited at counter for assistance but was ignored by several employees. Just ended up leaving, I'll go somewhere else.

The store manager sniffs all the used oil you try to turn in and won't accept it if she doesn't like it. The first time I have ever seen this. No one is turning in gasoline. No words. Tiny store, small selection but most staff members are professional and knowledgeable. Still, one of my last choices of I ever need anything. There are too many other choices out there. Don't expect to turn in your used oil.

I am always worried about going to any "auto" store, whether its a parts store, a mechanic shop, or dealership. Most times as a woman, I often feel taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge. My daughter and I came to this store because I was experiencing issues with my remote start even after changing the battery in the key fob. After speaking with Vern, we tried a few things and ultimately ended up buying a new car battery, which did the trick. Afterwards, Vern also offered other tips to try in the future if the key fob was still giving me issues. Vern is truly a gem for this store and I hope that he is being recognized as a valuable employee. Vern is definitely the kind of employee that all businesses should seek to retain.

I went sort of late to get a car battery tested, and the woman who helped me was super nice and knew her job completely! They couldn't charge it because it was getting too dark and cold to take it in and out plus four hours were needed, but the diagnostics said it was good, just needed to be recharged. It turned out the starter was the problem and I had to have it towed by AAA the next day, but I learned that Advance Auto parts is very nice and they will test and charge things for free!

The lady at the counter was friendly and very helpful... I was visiting from Virginia Beach, and I needed a battery for my Ducati Monster... They have a lot big enough to work on vehicles...

I visited the store at 7:30 PM on August 31, 2024, to purchase a battery for my 2005 Mercedes SLK350. The employee with gray hair attempted to upsell a more expensive battery. When I inquired about installation, he first claimed they don’t install batteries after 8 PM (even though it wasn’t 8 PM yet). Then he changed his reason to not installing after dark (it wasn’t dark). Finally, he said they don’t install batteries for Mercedes vehicles, which seemed like he was avoiding the job. He suggested I go to the Annandale Branch for installation. When I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and instructed me to call them in the morning. Overall, the service was unprofessional.

The store manager wasn't assisting the customer properly. They had a coupon, but the item wasn't in stock. When I asked for a similar item, they didn't have that either. When I asked him to adjust the coupon, he refused. I don't think he knows how to do his job correctly. Not only stuff, it was more than one.

Vern that works here is THE BEST! I was worried I would miss them before closing and he held up waiting for me at the door with my part on the register. Got there at 8:59 pm and the guys there were a delight to help me out! Thanks for everything.

I gave it 3 stars because the person tried to sell me the most expensive item that I needed after I clearly told him I wanted the generic brand because it's cheaper.... it was just my signal light and he tried to sell me a $29 pack when they had a 2pack for $8.99

Not a good experience at all. Placed an online order which said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I received a call that it would be ready tomorrow since they needed to order it from another store. Totally fine. Come 3 days later and no email/call that it’s ready for pickup. I call the store and they put me on hold for 10+ min. and then hang up on me. Eventually, I decide to go to the store and they tell me they have no record of my order?? They eventually find my order but give me the wrong tool from what I ordered. Total inconvenience from the top down.

Some of the NICEST, Professional people that I have ever experienced. Very knowledgeable, polite, yet friendly. The sales person with the colored hair, bright personality and knowledgeable. I think he was the assistant manager, young Hispanic gentlemen who was extremely professional. Knowledgeable and explained every thing and a helpful manner. Awesome experience!!!

I can it to pickup some window wiper blades and as soon as I walkthrough the main door I am greeted with welcome to advance auto parts if you need help please let us know was expressed to my by every staff member that came into view, it was a warm feeling and I felt like a person/ family and not another payday. I was totally lost so I asked for help and Ms. V was up for the task so was so happy to help and gave me all the information I needed on installing and warranty. The customer service felt so good I wanted to give everyone a hug. Good Job Advance Auto! I will be back Mark

I came in to pick up an online order, and figured I’d ask about replacing my wiper blades since they were due for replacement. Andrew was very helpful in selecting the right size and even went to the back several times to see if he had the brand I wanted in stock. After double checking that he did not have them, he ordered the wiper blades I wanted. They came in the next day, and he installed them quickly with no issues. Definitely appreciate the helpful staff and will come back to this store for my auto parts needs.

This review is for the Duke Street location. I stopped by there to buy a new car battery this past weekend and from start to finish, it was a great experience. I was greeted by the staff and they were pleasant to speak with. They seemed happy to have customers and I felt they appreciated my business. Jonathan installed my car battery and windshield wipers and had a positive, upbeat attitude. He didn’t mind me watching him work and even offered to show me how to change the wipers myself in the future. I like shopping where the staff is helpful and pleasant, and this location fits the bill. I’ll be back and I recommend you check them out if you need parts for your car.

Had a great experience here earlier this week! Had my uhaul disconnect from my car in the middle of a long move, and the staff (specifically Vern!) was all incredibly helpful and kind. I was able to get back on the road, and home safely :)

I needed to replace my windshield wipers and had planned to go to the dealership for convenience but decided to stop by here on the way thinking I could try to buy the wipers and install them myself. They made this it SO easy! They have an app where you can easily find your make/model and size for wipers AND they even put them on for you free of charge. So in total, this took me 10 minutes and less than $50 dollars for brand new wipers. Great customer service!
