Do ur homework bfr u go to this people. They have no clue what they doing. They damage ur vehicle to ask u pass the title or pay the money the vehicle they destroy. Just advise you based on true story.

They always take care of me except when I need factory installed items under warranty. Get there early to get your oil change. They do not do inspection. Let's keep these businesses in this area.
I went to Huntington Auto Care to have my car diagnosed and it needs a transmission. Since they don’t do transmission work they waved the diagnostic fee for me without me having to ask. I am truly grateful and will definitely return for other work I need! Thank you soo much!!!

I made an appointment here to replace my sideview mirror and they set up an appointment to get it fixed the next day. My repair only took about 30-40 minutes. Another place I was supposed to go to charged well over what I paid here, and now I am super happy that everything looks great again! Everyone I talked to was super friendly and helpful and I will definitely be back if I need my car serviced again.

Don was friendly and accommodating, and I feel that I can trust this business. Turn around time was also very convenient. My car is much happier even if my wallet is not, lol. For the area pricing seems fair, and I do believe quality is met.
Great shop. Had worked on both of my cars the last couple of times. I paid 500 for front rotors and breaks. Also got multiple oil changes from this shop. Friendly staff and have treated me fairly as far as I'm concerned. I do wish they stayed open an hour later but you can't have everything. Also they don't try to sell you anything and everything. They just do the work.
Don was very friendly. I had a simple leak in my tire and he was able to get the car in and out within 45 minutes. Very customer service oriented and much cheaper than the Jeep dealership down the street. Though I have had no major repairs done at this shop, they just gained a customer for a long time.
Huntington Car Care (and ownder Don) came highly recommended by a 36-year resident of Huntington with high standards. They did not disappoint. Quick, friendly service and they fixed my repair for less than I was expecting. Great communication as well. Highly recommend.
Drive somewhere else for repair if your car is able to drive. This place have a minimum charge for 65$ per visit no matter they did or didn’t do any repairs on your car. I had issue with the transmission and they asked me to change a hose and added up to a 580$ total to get everything done. I didn’t choose to get my car repair there instead I drive back to my dealer and he fixed the problem just add a 2$ compartment to tighten the hose. I think they just want to get things changed at their place even though it’s not broken or anything. Won’t go back.
Had the alignment and rotation at this place a bit earlier this month cuz it’s close to my house. Cost 155$ in total. Not a fair price especially 35$ for rotation two tires.
I moved here in 2020 and Huntington car care was recommended to to me. I have been going to them for all my needs since. They go above and beyond, especially Mario and they make sure that you don't get work done that isn't necessarily needed. I went in once thinking I need brakes and he told me there was still life left on them and then he wouldn't recommend changing them out right now. I don't know any place that would do that because most places are all about money.. Huntington car care is a true asset to Alexandria and I'm appreciative for them being honest people with great work ethic. Recently had a car wreck repair done there and they did an excellent job. Today I went in Because my tire valve caps were stuck. He did everything he could to get them off and gave a suggestion to me to try to get them off overnight by soaking them. Most places would be quick to try and charge you for a whole new valve steam instead of trying to give you pointers on have to help and save money at the same time . Ihighly recommend Huntington car care for all your car needs!!!
This is not a good place to go at all! I had a problem with the sunroof of my car and took it to them because they had fixed my car when I was T-Boned once. They got my car on a Thursday to do a diagnostic, I was told there was no storage fee and that it would cost $100. That day I was told there was a part missing they needed to fix and it would be $866.74 and that they would call me to get my car. After a week of not hearing anything that next Thursday they called me and told me they had ordered a wrong part and that they needed to replace the whole top of my car and it would cost me 2,671.60. I was told that the part wasn't currently being manufactured so I would have to wait until end of April/ May before the part could be received but to order the part I needed to give them a 500 dollar deposit. The man said that I could pick up my car that day so I could have it until they got the part and that they would call me when it was ready. I never heard anything. That following Saturday around 8AM after they had my car for over a week I called and asked for an update. The man spoke away from the phone and then told me he would need to talk to the mechanic and would call me back. I never heard back from them so around 2 o'clock I check to see their hours and they closed at 12! I called again and a man answered and I told him I needed my car now. He tried to tell me I had to wait until Monday because the mechanic wasn't in although he said he was talking to him. When I got there they had unplugged my battery and told me that he hadn't finished "re-programming" my car. When I said I wanted to take my car he tried to up-charge me for storage and "time worked on the car". My car was there for over a week and had no work done to it. He then tried to tell me that I had to pay for the part and they would need to cancel it coming even though they told me that they couldn't order it until I paid them 500. Something told me this wasn't right so I took my car to the dealership where I was told the only issue was leaves in the track and they fixed in for $350. This place is a complete scam and I would not go.
I highly recommend Huntington Car Care and will be going here for all my future car needs. Don gave us excellent customer service. Not only are they quick and efficient with their work, they're genuinely honest people. I went and told him I needed my front and rear brakes done. He called me about 30 mins after drop off to let me know only the front needed replacing and my rear had 40% left. I actually completely forgot I had changed them when I was in automotive school before moving here. This honesty goes a long way with me and now will trust them with all my vehicles needs. I've been using these guys for over 10 years and they've been honest and do quality work. They actually will make suggestions on how to save me money and will tell me honest opinions on if a repair is urgent or necessary or it can wait. They are also good at giving me options and explaining them. Don is the main guy there and he's great but Mario is also excellent. Highly recommend these people.
I went to this shop to fix a check engine light they called me a few hours later and said they could not find the evap leak and that i should go to a dealer. They refused to charge me any money after spending over 2 hours on a smoke test which is $130 usually. These guys are honest , courteous and professional.
I've taken my car and truck here for minor repairs and their service is top notch! Update: This place continues to offer great service. They recently replaced the alternator in my car, found what was making a strange noise, and pointed out that I needed to replace my rear shock bumper stops.
Called about our 12 year old Saturn Vue Hybrid with 2 engine lights warning of sensor failures here & there. I spoke to Don & he had me drop it off the same day. (The office requires everyone to wear masks to lower the spread of COVID.) He called quickly w/an estimate. He described what they needed to do & how many hours of labor, & let me know that my repair costs were high compared to the value of the car. I think it’s usually “cheaper to keep her” so we went with the big,safety repairs & skipped the unnecessary ones. Don is professional, knowledgable & friendly.
Restored my RAV 4 to original manufacturers specs after a front end collision. Corrected shoddy workmanship from a previous mechanic shop that made the damage from the minor crash worse than it should have been. Restored the structural integrity of the car making it as safe as if was new. Very reasonable price. Quality at a great price
Joe and Gary were great in dealing with my repairs. They were very thorough, detailed, and allowed me to provide the same parts myself (I found some for a few dollars less). The mechanics do an excellent job and in a timely fashion. While I hope I don't need to get my car repaired, should the event present itself, I trust Huntington Auto Body and Paint with my current and future vehicles.

The whole team of mechanics are honest and have no problems sharing their knowledge if you're willing to ask questions. Probably wish I would stop and shut up. But they have entertained my curiosity on multiple visits for our Honda and Subaru.
I have been going to Huntington Car Care for years, and Don and the mechanics have consistently shown great integrity and honesty. They truly care for their customers and look out for their customers’ best interests, which is extremely rare in their profession. And their prices are extremely competitive and fair (plus they offer a military discount). I would never consider taking my car anywhere else when it needs work done.
This team is fantastic. Not only do they have reasonable rates and hard-working staff, but they really get the job done. My husband had an emergency with our trailer hitch and not only were they able to fit him in, but they worked for hours on the problem and charged us a very reasonable amount. We would never take our cars anywhere but here.
My family has been taking our cars to Don and his crew for as long as I can remember. His prices are firm but reasonable, and they will let you know if extra work needs to be done without forcing the issue (i.e. it's up to you). His mechanics are honest and they will even use your replacement parts (obviously without warranty) if you just have something you just can't do yourself.
I do a lot of my own car work but sometimes I need the skills only a shop with specialized tools can provide, and that's why I keep going back. I recommend them highly.
