The battery in my Jeep was shot. Wouldn’t start. Jumped it with cables and dropped it off on Sunday at Brodhams with the key in the overnight box. Drove out of there Monday with a new battery and running perfectly. Another great, fast and easy experience. Love these guys.
Dropped my car off for brake services and they immediately took care of me! I got to walk around King street and grab lunch while I waited and by the time I returned thinking I still needed to wait for my car, nope it was ready as soon as we returned. Less than 2 hours! Bradham Automotive is a great friendly place. I had become used to always seeing Scott there, but he's moved on to cut down his long commute :( . Anyway, they have new people that seem just as knowledgeable as Scott. I don't know how they do it. I can remember even before Scott they always had such knowledgeable and kind people working in the front office. Especially as a woman, you need that to feel comfortable going to a car repair place. They always take the time to explain the issues, no matter how busy they are. You'll be happy with the work and the attitude at Bradham.

Making an appointment, discussing my vehicle, dropping it off and picking it up all felt like I was dealing with attentive folk who personally cared and understood the importance I place on my car.
They respected my expertise regarding things I'm able to fix/replace on my own and offered what I feel was useful and candid advice about my car, even some facts I was surprised I didn't know.
I picked up my sporty Ford hatchback today after a major periodic service update at 90K, including the replacement of my complete suspension system and a number of smaller services like an air filter service, transmission flush, and my long postponed, but known to be needed, cleaning of my fuel injection system (cheap dirty gasoline does have a long term cost).
After all these many miles, this was probably the most comprehnsive package of repairs made on my car since it was new.
My car came back feeling completely refreshed, cornering like a breeze, responsive, and operating to spec. I feel confident again about driving it for the next 70-90K (so long as it continues to look pretty, lol). I was very pleased with Bradham's estimate and pricing too because they used the OEM parts I requested.

I LOVE Bradham. When I first moved to the area my car broke down and they took very good care of me. Most importantly, they are HONEST. And as a female, I find some mechanics love to take advantage of us. They are now my go-to mechanic.
I had a positive experience here with my Jetta. The team was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the check engine light and get the issue fixed within 24 hours. They were patient with my questions and were happy to explain everything in detail. Overall a much better experience than the dealership, and I would much rather give my money to an independent garage!

Been using them when I live in Alex off-and-on for thirty years. Customer service is their priority and old-fashioned value. They actually care about your auto and their customers. Reliable. Transparent. You won’t be disappointed.
My boyfriend and I were coming from Richmond VA, driving to Baltimore for our 7th anniversary trip to a convention, when we hit a huge rock (a boulder really) in the middle of the interstate. We called for a tow stranded on the side of the road on the interstate of Alexandria, a situation no one wants to be in, and our driver took us here.
Immediately these guys offered to help us out. They told us to go grab some lunch, and they were going to do what they needed to get us back on the road or get a rental - but they were making sure we were getting to that convention, and that day. They tried to bend the wheel's metal back into place, but it wasn't guaranteed that it would hold. They were completely honest about that, and instead, they ultimately hooked us up with a replacement wheel that would drive us safely to Baltimore and Richmond within the hour.
These guys SAVED our anniversary trip! They made sure we were safe, they did some awesome work quickly, and if you need a garage up that way that goes the extra mile, GO HERE! This shop isn't just full of good mechanics, but also good people.

Very professional and tremendous customer service with a warranty on service provided. I highly recommend!
Finally, a place to take my car back to! The customer service was fantastic. John and Scott were easily accessible by phone, but their regular updates via text and email didn’t require a call to check-in. They accommodated my work schedule and offered to arrange for pickup after hours which ultimately was not necessary because the service was completed sooner than anticipated. I definitely recommend giving Bradham a shot the next time your car needs work.
Excellent service. Very helpful and kind staff. Assisted me with deciding on needed repairs within my budget. Quick communication through e-mail and phone call. This is my 2nd year going to Bradham, and will continue going because this is the first time in many years that I actually felt I was getting an honest assessment of my 2012 automobile's needs. Also, great convenient location...close to King Street shops and restaurants if repairs require some wait time.

Three years ago, I purchased a previously owner 2017 Mustang GT. I was at my stage of life that it was time for me to own a car just for me. And when I drove off the lot I decided it was time to have a new to me mechanic that would take care of my "fun" car. I took my Mustang to Bradham (based on advice from old, trusted friends) and asked the service managers: "would you like to take care of my new Mustang?" A firm "yes" was delivered. Today, I stopped by Bradham because if was time for an oil change and without asking, the service manager reviewed my record and said: "sir, we need to do an engine flush and a brake flush, it's time. We want to keep your Mustang on the road for a long time". This is why I've been coming back to Bradham for 3 years and hope to return, many times, for many more years.
Terrific garage! Been here twice for separate instances involving my 17 vw gti. Super friendly folks from the moment you come in, keeping you up to date with messages and felt very confident with the work done.

I had the brakes replaced, the oil changed, and all fluids changed out on my truck. Pricing was very fair, and the service was prompt. Scott Phillips was the service manager that I dealt with, and he is a professional. Scott went over every aspect of the service recommendations made by the mechanic and differentiated between necessary and unnecessary. The lobby is clean, and the shop looks well-organized. No need to go to those hack shops along Route 1!
Bradham service was beyond 5 stars. Highly responsive, efficient and detailed. I have never been motivated to recommend an auto repair business before but Bradham is an exception because they were exceptional.
After getting the run around from 2 other shops, Bradham not only got my truck in alignment, they also found the shop that previously “tried” had left all my adjustments loose. As a gearhead, cars are my only hobby. I put a lot of energy and care into this truck and I felt the entire staff at Bradham genuinely cared, as well. They are kind, open, patient, and flexible. I came to Bradham Automotive for what I thought was only going to be a brakes check and unfortunately there was significantly more that had to be replaced in my car.
When the general manager heard my concerns, they did what they could to make the experience as affordable as possible and provided extremely quick service for the amount of work involved - I got my car back in 2 days. Not only that, but they also brought my car for the VA state and emissions testing since that was out of date for free.

I thought I could trust Bradham. I have been a loyal customer for years and have never had a complaint about their customer service. In September, I had a costly repair. On a recent trip out of state, I went to my long-time mechanic to do routine pre-winter maintenance. I was told the car was not safe to be driving due to the rusted out frame (pictures below). This is something that would have been a building concern for many months, if not years, and never once was I informed of this issue by Bradham, which has now turned into a serious safety hazard. The recent maintenance at Bradham was, in fact, performed immediately next to the rusted frame. I am extremely disappointed that due to either incompetency or questionable business practices, Bradham performed maintenance without addressing an underlying concern.
