Shamefully subpar service from a BMW. Waited more than three hours for a simple oil change when the person told me it would be two hours AND I had an appointment. $250 for a brake flush, $750 for brake pad replacement which I certainly declined. Zero attention to detail. Dirty waiting room with no coffee supplies and dirty restroom with no seat covers. (Was their cleaning staff furloughed too?) Partially vacuumed car. I asked for them to top off my coolant and they even forgot to do that. It took two seconds for the service advisor to do it. I will definitely be driving out of town for any BMW needs. Avoid.

I searched for the car I wanted through Truecar. Andrii reached out to me immediately regarding cars that fit what I was looking for. I made an appointment and went in for a test. I went on a Sunday but it was very busy. Andrii never made me wait long and even though he was handling other customers as well I never felt neglected. I loved the car I test drove except the tires. He quickly found a car that was the same with the tires I wanted. He even was able to get me a great deal on the car. Andrii made me car buying experience great and I love my new car. Avoid this dealership’s service department at all costs. I brought my vehicle to the Alexandria BMW service department in working condition; only to be told three hours later that the battery had died. Before even attempting to diagnose the original issue, they quoted me $950 for a battery replacement, insisting it be replaced before they would proceed. They offered no real support or solutions to address the situation they created. To make matters worse, Max, the service advisor, refused to take any of my calls while I was coordinating the tow truck to remove my vehicle from their facility. I was forced to work through the main receptionist just to get basic communication. The situation escalated when they refused to release my vehicle unless I paid a diagnostic fee; despite the fact that no diagnosis was ever performed. This felt like nothing short of holding my vehicle hostage. This experience was completely unacceptable and far below BMW’s standards. I ultimately had my vehicle towed to a trusted facility that treated me with honesty and professionalism; qualities that were entirely absent here. Save yourself the frustration and take your vehicle elsewhere.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Please avoid this dealership and service location at all costs. My wife brought our BMW in this morning for suspension service. We have never had any problems with the battery in the three years we’ve owned this car. After handing it over, the service rep (Max) got in, started it up with no issues to drive it to the back. Not long after, we got a call saying the battery was “dead” and needed to be replaced — for $950. This is outrageous. The battery was perfectly fine before arriving at their shop, and the fact that they tried to push this before even looking at the suspension problem tells us everything we need to know. This location used to have leadership we trusted (people like Bella and Fritz), but with the recent turnover in management, and new with these unqualified managers (like Matt) the quality of service has gone downhill. What was once a respectable operation now feels like a place trying to take advantage of customers. We refused to be taken advantage of and are having the car towed to an honest shop that actually values its customers. Do yourself a favor — stay far away from this place.

Mr. Hossein Alavi greatly improved my experience the moment I walked into BMW Alexandria. What impressed me the most was his enthusiastic willingness to help us, even though we arrived without an appointment. In that instance, I felt like he was a blessing sent our way. Mr. Hossein embodies true professionalism—he is knowledgeable, approachable, humble, supportive, and honest. I also appreciated the valuable insights he shared with me. I have always dreamed of owning a BMW, and last night, that dream became a reality! I have been overwhelmed by a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions regarding this decision, and I am still feeling a blend of excitement and disbelief. I had service done on 05/10/25. I believed BMW of Alexandria dishonest and liar to customer. I had 4 new tires done on 05/11/24. One of my tired had nailed, I told service advisor that tires covered under road hazard warranty and manufacture Warranty when I purchased. But he was denied and said it was not covered and asked me to pay for replace. I emailed this concern to Customer Care for month. However, they wasn’t response. I was very disappointed with BMW of Alexandria.

I made an appointment online for my BMW service purchased from BMW of Alexandria and selected the loaner car option. I called the Saturday before, and was able to talk to a rep after repeated attempts (One hour). I confirmed that I had an appointment with a loaner car selected. I showed up at 0700 for my appointment. The representative, Ina Pacheco, said there were no loaner cars available because it was my mistake. I recounted how I had been assured of my appointment with a loaner car. She said I could wait for a month to secure a loaner car. Since my destination was 14 miles away, she did not offer a courtesy Taxi option either. I was given no other option but to drive away with a malfunctioning car. We have a Lexus as well, and the courtesy offered at the Lexus dealer is at the expected luxury car level, every time, and every touch. Your online apology is NOT accepted. The time to apologize was when I was at the store.

Purchased my 2025 BMW M2 from this dealership and the buying process was smooth and hassle-free. Recently brought the car in for service due to an AC issue, and the team handled it with great efficiency. Team was great! Andrii, Mr. Tu and Sean took the time to earn my business. My trip from NJ to pick up the car was straight forward with no surprises. The trip was well worth it! (Purchased 6/25) UPDATE (8/23) I purchased this vehicle just 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for the part for my front bumper. This delay is unacceptable. When I called to follow up, one of your front desk staff hung up on me (transferred me to an unattended line while I was speaking) and then ignored nearly 10 of my follow on calls. When I finally reached someone, I was assured that my “urgent” message would be relayed to a sales manager and that I would receive a call back. That call never came. I traveled from New Jersey to complete this purchase, and the drastic drop in customer service since the sale is extremely disappointing. My salesperson Andrii has also stopped responding to my texts. Mr. Tu we had a great interaction when I was there please contact me so this issue can be resolved. I’ve include a new picture of the missing piece (circled) I’m referring to.

As soon as I stepped into BMW of Alexandria, and met Karen and her team, I knew I was in good hands because of her genuine warmth, professionalism, and knowledge. I knew what I wanted and she made sure I got it .... no pressure. What truly sets Karen and the team apart is the honesty and transparency they exude. Latest of many blunders on an M850i, they send me a diagnostic video July 3rd advising front left wheel bearing is binding and tire is 15 degrees hotter than front right and they send in insurance claim. The next day the new director, Dave, calls me regarding my request to exchange an EV loaner and we have a disagreement on the loaner and how to check a brake caliper on my car. He tells me he'll test drive vehicle himself and evaluate. He calls me back and says there is nothing wrong with my car and to come pick it up. I called my insurance company worried about the binding wheel bearing. The agent called BMW and spoke with my service advisor Maxim Reznichenko he was recorded saying we just want Mr. Brown to come pickup his car and have it serviced elsewhere he proceeded to tell the agent that he doesn't think the problem from the original accident and then asked the agent about another claim on the car. My car had been there since June because on April 13th I went in for a scheduled 11a routine oil change 4hrs later I get my car back. 10 minutes into the drive home I see a foot-long crack in the windshield on passenger side. I called immediately and got voicemail. Service advisor called back and hour later said he'll speak with manager and call back on how to proceed. I called several times within that month left messages and still no call back. After a month I decided to put in an insurance claim to get my windshield fixed. There's a lot more to this but their resolution was to pay the deductible which they did; that assumes guilt! This place is very unprofessional to say the least in my opinion. No place to service your car let alone a BMW! Here's an update regarding the windshield install. I've added pictures and videos the horrible install of the windshield and one video shows an unclear windshield as the wipers make a couple of passes. You cannot drive this car in the the rain especially at night. This is not an aftermarket windshield but it's definitely defective. I took my car in to BMW of Alexandria July25th, showed management my concerns about the windshield and told him I'm not able to see at night in the rain. He advised miggt be able to fix without removing windshield and he'll have someone call to set up appointment for repair. It is July 29th and im still waiting for the call. Service is open 7 days a week.

I had a great buying experience with BMW Alexandria; professional and easy to work with on the sales side. However, the service side consistently falls short. This Saturday, I scheduled a 9 AM drop-off to address a slow tire leak. Despite the appointment, it took 65 minutes before I was able to drop off my vehicle, and it wasn’t taken in until 10:05 AM. Unfortunately, long waits like this are not unusual. The appointment schedule doesn’t seem to have any real flow control or meaning. While they did replace the tire, my vehicle was returned with visible scratches, and the new tire wasn’t even inflated to the recommended PSI. Disappointing to see such a lack of care and attention to detail after an otherwise positive purchase experience.

It was during a weekend that I received the famous "drivetrain malfunction" message. I was greeted by a friendly staff and then I was assigned to Ina Pacheco, a very good professional adviser in her field. She explained that she is aware of that message and what it is. Then I asked to speak with a mechanic and I also spoke with Mike Ryder, who went into detail as to what needs to be done with the vehicle. He explained about known issues about my model. Since I own a 2021 BMW 750i xDrive, the situation was delicate. In any event since the vehicle was under warranty I left it in his hands. I asked if I can come when the vehicle is dismantled to see all the new parts that will be installed. That wish was granted without any problems. I driven the vehicle for a couple of days and the engine is smoother and I feel as if the car is new. I am very pleased with the service that I have received.

Nickey was a fabulous salesman. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. My vehicle hadn’t even made it to the lot yet, it was in transit for a couple weeks and he kept me updated. I would recommend him to anyone. I do wish the individual in charge of financing understood no means no when trying to sell extended warranties and services. I allowed him to give me his pitch and I made a decision. I don’t mind him explaining it again. But when he continued to make you feel dumb for not wanting to drop another $10-15k on additional things, and throughout the process makes snide remarks, it made me just want to walk out. Up to that point, the experience I had was unlike any other when shopping for a vehicle. I was comfortable and did not feel taken advantage of like I had elsewhere. But the finance guy gave that stereotypical car salesman vibe that I had been very happy to had not experienced with Nickey. He almost single-handedly tanked the deal, but I didn’t want to back out on Nickey who had put in a good amount of work. Honestly the 5 stars goes to Nickey.

My experience with this dealership was great! I contacted them online through Edmonds and connected with a sales associate, Erin, who was attentive, followed up on my questions but was not overbearing. I was coming from out of state, a first-time BMW and first-time EV buyer, and she took the time to help me understand what I needed to know. This 2023 i4 eDrive40 (CPO) is beautiful... BMW of Alexandria is a phenomenal BMW operation! From the management to the front desk receptionists to the financing specialists, the staff is exceptionally professional and friendly. However, the crown-jewel of this excellent luxury car dealership is Krishma Fahim (a BMW client advisor and BMW technical feature “genius”). Krishma’s care and concern are unparalleled and she has consistently (over the purchase of three different BMWs) been an amazing, intelligent, and helpful resource. Buying a car is a major (and sometimes stressful) event in a person’s life, but Krishma’s customer service removes any potential stress from the car purchasing process. Krishma listens to her clients, understands their needs and provides custom-tailored advice and recommendations to make the car buying process as simple as selecting the “right” produce from the grocery store. I will ALWAYS come back to BMW of Alexandria for my vehicles and Krishma will be my personal client advisor until she is promoted to management (which I am certain will happen). Also, if you are worried about how to pay for your luxury vehicle, ask for Basir Sabeti (BMW of Alexandria’s EXCELLENT finance director) who will walk you through the financial aspects of your purchase and leave you confident that you are making a sound financial decision. From my experience, Basir’s goal is to ensure that you fully understand the financial implications of your purchase and that you are making the best (and most financially advantageous) decision possible. If you haven’t already deduced this, I love this dealership and I will be purchasing (and servicing) my vehicles there for the foreseeable future.

Got my new 2023 BMW iX 50drive at BMW Alexandria. My first impressions were that the location is spacious with a lot of employees and very clean and orderly. This was also shown when I realized that finance is all located upstairs. Everyone was friendly enough and Faria was kind throughout the process. However, there were still downsides. My overall purchase experience took almost 8 hours from 1pm to past 8pm. That is extremely long considering that I came in knowing exactly what car i wanted, with my financing plan done, no real issues for them to address and consider etc. Unlike BMW Silver Spring where I purchased my last 2 cars, I did the test drive alone without the sales person which meant some of my questions about the car had to be addressed during my wait or after the purchase was completed. On the other hand, the time would have been longer if I waited for her to drive with me since she was with another customer too. Financing was the longest wait just for someone to talk to me and finalize the process and still took over an hour to be done, since the numbers provided during this process didn't match up the way they were discussed with Faria or Mo Husseini. There was also a lot of emphasis on selling the multiple additional warranties - up to 10 -- which could have been handled earlier with the salesperson or while I was waiting around. This is probably the area that needs to be expedited. Given how long it took, it would have been nice if they had a larger snack area and more visible coffee area for customers to be able to get refreshments like they do at my regular dealership. Instead the coffee maker was upstairs next to the staff break room and I had to ask after 6 hours of waiting. I do love my purchase and will enjoy getting to learn all about its nuances. I am also going to track what happens with the 2 extended warranties that Vafa convinced me to purchase -- covering all internal aspects of the car to be replaced or repaired until 5/2033 and on maintenance services until 5/2030. These were not what I wanted so I'm hoping that my experience does not reflect that of other customers who have negative reviews of these warranties.
