This dealership is an absolute joke. Avoid BMW of Alexandria at all costs.
I came here to buy a used vehicle the dealership had recently listed. Spent about 23 hours in the showroom start to finish and the dealership was STILL not able to get the vehicle detailed/ready drive off the lot.
To give context, I came from out of town (approx. 5 hours away) between the holidays with the intention of leaving and being home that same day. Due to the dealership wanting to meet their year end sales quota (and us wanting to make a singular trip), we decided to get a hotel that night to close the deal the next day.
Multiple times we were told by the salesman (Andrii) that the vehicle will be detailed, including on our way down and at the end of the first night into the second day, neither of which came to fruition. The second day at the dealership, the dealership spent the entire morning chasing down the wheel lock kit that was not provided with the used vehicle. This should have been part of pre-listing inspections, not for a customer to discover and point out during the sale of the vehicle. In addition, there were still minor cosmetic damage issues that the dealership were attempting to fix in the early afternoon.
The dealership still had not detailed the vehicle by 4PM the next day, which is when we had decided enough was enough.
I cannot express my dissatisfaction enough for this establishment. The fact that the dealership wanted us to make the deal but could not get the vehicle ready within 24 hours is absurd. Terrible customer service, and overall experience from BMW of Alexandria.Jan 29, 2026 -
Had a very positive experience with the service advisor Michael Smith at BMW of Alexandria Service Center. He is knowledgeable, professional and was very helpful during the process. So if you need to make a service appointment for your car, I would definitely recommend scheduling with him as your service advisor.

My recent experience at Alexandria BMW, particularly with my service advisor Michael S. was nothing short of exceptional and completely surpassed all my expectations. Having had less-than-satisfactory experiences with the dealership in the past, I had very low expectations. However, Michael single-handedly restored my faith in Alexandria BMW as a whole. His customer service was truly amazing, demonstrating a profound understanding of my needs and ensuring every single one was met.

Pathetic service at this dealership. Avoid buying a car here if you can.
I own a vehicle worth over $100,000. At the time of purchase, it came with only 6 months of valid inspection. I raised this concern with the sales representative and was assured that I could bring the vehicle back later to have the inspection completed.
I made an appointment for today specifically for a drop-off with a loaner (appointment was confirmed), drove over an hour to get to the dealership, and then waited 45 minutes just to be seen by a service advisor named Jason McNally, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was then told that a loaner could not be provided for this type of work and that my only options were to either come back another day and wait or stay over 3 hours for a simple inspection.
It became very clear that loaners are handed out based solely on the dollar amount of work being done, regardless of the customer’s time, convenience, or prior assurances. That is unacceptable—especially at a dealership selling high-end vehicles.
Additionally, management should speak with Jason McNally regarding basic professionalism and respect. Not only was he disrespectful to me as a customer, but I also personally witnessed him speak to another service representative outside in a discriminatory and inappropriate manner. Completely uncalled for behavior.

I had a great experience at BMW of Alexandria thanks to my service advisor, Esmirna Paiz-Romero. She made the entire process feel effortlessly easy from start to finish. Esmirna communicated clearly and consistently throughout, keeping me informed every step of the way. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly made a difference, and I felt confident and taken care of the whole time. I really appreciate the excellent service and would definitely recommend working with her.

I have been going to this dealership for almost 10 years with my old car that I purchased elsewhere and have always been satisfied but I was blown away by the kind and attentive staff when it came time to make some decisions about my old car, and purchase a new one. I brought my 2024 BMW in for a no-start battery issue and am disappointed with both the repair and the service experience.
I declined a loaner believing the car would be kept overnight, but it remained in the shop for nearly a week. Over that time, I received only a couple of cryptic, unhelpful text messages. My questions went unanswered, no repair timetable was provided, and even after pickup I still have not received clear explanations of the diagnostic results.

Regarding Sales…I left this dealership feeling dismissed and uncomfortable. The lack of engagement and professionalism made it seem as though I was not taken seriously, and it raised concerns about biased treatment. No customer should feel this way during a car-buying experience. I would recommend exploring other dealerships in the area that demonstrate respect and fairness toward all customers.
SAVE TIME… head over to Passport BMW in MD. Dealership is diverse and they seem to only see one color GREEN. I ended up purchasing a 2026 BMW from Passport BMW and the process was very straightforward.Jan 13, 2026 -
I only recommend BMW of Alexandria because of Mr. Gian Carlos Sabino and Mr. Dustin Aliano. This is my first luxury car and I really thought it was out of my league. They made me feel comfortable, answered all of my silly questions, and didn’t look at me funny when I got really excited about some of the features of the X6. lol. But seriously these two are true professionals and I would not have the car today if it wasn’t for these two gentlemen. I am glad that I was able to work with them and I hope I can continue to work with them in the future.

My experience with BMW of Alexandria has been great! Of the times I have been there all of them have been last minute emergency situations in relation to my vehicle. The dealer has always been accommodating and made every effort to get me the best price and also provide me with loaner cars. Esmirna Romero It’s always provided exemplary customer service, and facilitating my needs as well as my vehicles needs. Definitely would recommend this dealer over others in the DMV area.

Great experience with BMW of Alexandria. Karen helped me through every step of ordering my new BMW without me needing to come in before delivery. She was always responsive, even on weekends, and when I asked to pick up the car on Thanksgiving Eve, she stayed late to make sure everything was perfect. Truly appreciated her dedication and professionalism.

I had the most amazing service experience today thanks to Jason McNally! After 5 years, my car battery died over the weekend, probably from the cold. I called and was connected with Jason. He was so helpful, gave me a quick quote, reassured me he’d take care of me, and got me in right away. His master technician, Matt, did a multipoint inspection, replaced my car and key batteries, and had everything done so quickly. Jason and Matt are absolute rockstars. It’s been years since I’ve serviced my car at BMW of Alexandria, and I’m so glad I returned. Thank you, Jason, for the exceptional service!

Came down from New York to buy my dream car and I’m glad I did it with BMW of Alexandria. Krishma and her team were amazing! After talking over the phone for a couple of days we came to good deal, everything looked good, signed it off! Drive back was amazing! I even got Chick-fil-a for the wait haha. Will definitely come back for if I ever need to purchase again! 10/10 experience!

They kept our car for over 4+ hours to do maintenance. Which was fine, but then they gave us back the car with the most half done wash job I’ve ever seen. There was dirt still on the wheels. The customer service we received was rude and dismissive. For spending over $2k this was the worst BMW experience I have ever had.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Please avoid this dealership and service location at all costs.
My wife brought our BMW in this morning for suspension service. We have never had any problems with the battery in the three years we’ve owned this car. After handing it over, the service rep (Max) got in, started it up with no issues to drive it to the back. Not long after, we got a call saying the battery was “dead” and needed to be replaced — for $950.
This is outrageous. The battery was perfectly fine before arriving at their shop, and the fact that they tried to push this before even looking at the suspension problem tells us everything we need to know.
This location used to have leadership we trusted (people like Bella and Fritz), but with the recent turnover in management, and new with these unqualified managers (like Matt) the quality of service has gone downhill. What was once a respectable operation now feels like a place trying to take advantage of customers.
We refused to be taken advantage of and are having the car towed to an honest shop that actually values its customers. Do yourself a favor — stay far away from this place.Oct 01, 2025 -
Mr. Hossein Alavi greatly improved my experience the moment I walked into BMW Alexandria. What impressed me the most was his enthusiastic willingness to help us, even though we arrived without an appointment. In that instance, I felt like he was a blessing sent our way. Mr. Hossein embodies true professionalism—he is knowledgeable, approachable, humble, supportive, and honest. I also appreciated the valuable insights he shared with me. I had service done on 05/10/25. I believed BMW of Alexandria dishonest and liar to customer. I had 4 new tires done on 05/11/24. One of my tired had nailed, I told service advisor that tires covered under road hazard warranty and manufacture Warranty when I purchased. But he was denied and said it was not covered and asked me to pay for replace. I emailed this concern to Customer Care for month. However, they wasn’t response. I was very disappointed with BMW of Alexandria.

Recently brought the car in for service due to an AC issue, and the team handled it with great efficiency. They diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly, and returned the car to me just a few days later at no cost. Excellent experience both in sales and service, highly recommend!

I purchased this vehicle just 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for the part for my front bumper. This delay is unacceptable. When I called to follow up, one of your front desk staff hung up on me (transferred me to an unattended line while I was speaking) and then ignored nearly 10 of my follow on calls. When I finally reached someone, I was assured that my “urgent” message would be relayed to a sales manager and that I would receive a call back. That call never came. I traveled from New Jersey to complete this purchase, and the drastic drop in customer service since the sale is extremely disappointing. My salesperson Andrii has also stopped responding to my texts. Mr. Tu we had a great interaction when I was there please contact me so this issue can be resolved. Latest of many blunders on an M850i, they send me a diagnostic video July 3rd advising front left wheel bearing is binding and tire is 15 degrees hotter than front right and they send in insurance claim. The next day the new director, Dave, calls me regarding my request to exchange an EV loaner and we have a disagreement on the loaner and how to check a brake caliper on my car. He tells me he'll test drive vehicle himself and evaluate. He calls me back and says there is nothing wrong with my car and to come pick it up. I called my insurance company worried about the binding wheel bearing. The agent called BMW and spoke with my service advisor Maxim Reznichenko he was recorded saying we just want Mr. Brown to come pickup his car and have it serviced elsewhere he proceeded to tell the agent that he doesn't think the problem from the original accident and then asked the agent about another claim on the car. My car had been there since June because on April 13th I went in for a scheduled 11a routine oil change 4hrs later I get my car back. 10 minutes into the drive home I see a foot-long crack in the windshield on passenger side. I called immediately and got voicemail. Service advisor called back and hour later said he'll speak with manager and call back on how to proceed. I called several times within that month left messages and still no call back. After a month I decided to put in an insurance claim to get my windshield fixed. There's a lot more to this but their resolution was to pay the deductible which they did; that assumes guilt! This place is very unprofessional to say the least in my opinion. No place to service your car let alone a BMW!
Here's an update regarding the windshield install. I've added pictures and videos the horrible install of the windshield and one video shows an unclear windshield as the wipers make a couple of passes. You cannot drive this car in the the rain especially at night. This is not an aftermarket windshield but it's definitely defective. I took my car in to BMW of Alexandria July25th, showed management my concerns about the windshield and told him I'm not able to see at night in the rain. He advised miggt be able to fix without removing windshield and he'll have someone call to set up appointment for repair. It is July 29th and im still waiting for the call. BMW of Alexandria is a phenomenal BMW operation! From the management to the front desk receptionists to the financing specialists, the staff is exceptionally professional and friendly. However, the crown-jewel of this excellent luxury car dealership is Krishma Fahim (a BMW client advisor and BMW technical feature “genius”). Krishma’s care and concern are unparalleled and she has consistently (over the purchase of three different BMWs) been an amazing, intelligent, and helpful resource. Buying a car is a major (and sometimes stressful) event in a person’s life, but Krishma’s customer service removes any potential stress from the car purchasing process. Krishma listens to her clients, understands their needs and provides custom-tailored advice and recommendations to make the car buying process as simple as selecting the “right” produce from the grocery store. I will ALWAYS come back to BMW of Alexandria for my vehicles and Krishma will be my personal client advisor until she is promoted to management (which I am certain will happen). Also, if you are worried about how to pay for your luxury vehicle, ask for Basir Sabeti (BMW of Alexandria’s EXCELLENT finance director) who will walk you through the financial aspects of your purchase and leave you confident that you are making a sound financial decision. Got my new 2023 BMW iX 50drive at BMW Alexandria. My first impressions were that the location is spacious with a lot of employees and very clean and orderly. This was also shown when I realized that finance is all located upstairs. Everyone was friendly enough and Faria was kind throughout the process.
However, there were still downsides. My overall purchase experience took almost 8 hours from 1pm to past 8pm. That is extremely long considering that I came in knowing exactly what car i wanted, with my financing plan done, no real issues for them to address and consider etc. Unlike BMW Silver Spring where I purchased my last 2 cars, I did the test drive alone without the sales person which meant some of my questions about the car had to be addressed during my wait or after the purchase was completed. On the other hand, the time would have been longer if I waited for her to drive with me since she was with another customer too.
Financing was the longest wait just for someone to talk to me and finalize the process and still took over an hour to be done, since the numbers provided during this process didn't match up the way they were discussed with Faria or Mo Husseini. There was also a lot of emphasis on selling the multiple additional warranties - up to 10 -- which could have been handled earlier with the salesperson or while I was waiting around. This is probably the area that needs to be expedited.
Given how long it took, it would have been nice if they had a larger snack area and more visible coffee area for customers to be able to get refreshments like they do at my regular dealership. Instead the coffee maker was upstairs next to the staff break room and I had to ask after 6 hours of waiting.
I do love my purchase and will enjoy getting to learn all about its nuances.
I am also going to track what happens with the 2 extended warranties that Vafa convinced me to purchase -- covering all internal aspects of the car to be replaced or repaired until 5/2033 and on maintenance services until 5/2030. These were not what I wanted so I'm hoping that my experience does not reflect that of other customers who have negative reviews of these warranties.Feb 23, 2025
