Terrible experience — avoid this place at all costs. If I could give zero stars I would.
I came to Bayside Shore and Auto for an alignment (which came with a warranty), and ever since then, I’ve had to replace three tires. I called last week and was told I could bring my car in first thing Monday morning under the warranty. I rearranged my schedule and missed work based on that confirmation, only to show up and be told they already had cars on the jack and couldn’t help me until Wednesday or Thursday.
The staff was rude, dismissive, and made it clear they couldn’t care less about the inconvenience or damage I’ve experienced. They shrugged their shoulders, brushed me off, and offered no solution — like my time, my car, or my money meant nothing.
I cannot afford to keep missing work or dealing with the consequences of a job they clearly didn’t do right the first time. This has been the worst service I’ve ever received from an auto shop. If you care about your vehicle and your time, do not come here. Once they’re paid, they’re done — even if their work was under warranty and clearly caused the problem
Highly suggest insisting that they call you to get authorization before doing any repairs/work when they have to diagnose a problem. Otherwise, you’ll be paying more than you bargained for and what you originally took your vehicle in for may not be fixed…
Bayside Tire and Auto garage is fantastic they do fantastic work great service terrific people with great attitude and very very friendly. They are my number one garage for any type of automobile service. Thanks Mike, and the staff at Bayside Auto for great service once again.
Had them do a couple not so ez jobs on my Corvette that I dont let many people touch and they did really good work & even noticed and fixed a couple other small issues they saw while the car was there. Very pleased.
i have an older truck, i wanted them to replace the clutch, he said they could and said they did but when i drove it the clutch didnt seem right, after awhile it progressively got worse, i took it back, he said there was something wrong with the transmission and changed the transmission oil, charged me more money and when i began questioning him he said have a nice day and closed the door in my face, i took my truck to jms transmission repair, he replaced the clutch and put the correct oil in the transmission, truck shifts and works beautifully
