Adorable place! We only got to spend a few hours to stay in one of the glamping rooms but it was so cute! They provided snacks in the main are of the glamping building and anything else we need! The staff was super understanding for our late checkin and left us all of the information to get to our room. We will absolutely be back when we have time to enjoy the games and activities.

We were just here for an over night. It was great for that. They have numerous pull-thru sites. The site was mostly level, clean and had a very nice firepit that looked new and you could cook on it. The pool was the highlight. Large pool with nice seating options. The deep end I think was 8 feet deep so we had a lot of fun jumping in. They have an ice cream stand and had some live music on Friday night. Their site indicates food truck on Friday night but they do not have that any more. The office does not really have a store with any camping supplies so make sure you have what you need. The office did however have local beers and a beer tap. That's a first for the check in desk. Staff was friendly and we had full hook up. They have mini gulf but it is outdated and the greens are surrounded with blacktop which is very cracked.

Its camping who can complain about that also had good weather during my stay so we were able to use the pool and enjoy the icecream. The airstream experience was a first for me and my family. Usually just tent camp but that was nice upgraded experience.

Extremely helpful staff. Friendly service makes the difference! Super clean bathrooms and showers. We only could stay one night as we were just traveling through. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We used one of the tent sites at Kampfires. We loves the lay out of the tent sites-- lots of shade and access to the bathrooms. We really appreciated the dog run at the back of the property. The pool is clean and refreshing with some shade for relaxation. Great campground for tenting!

Beautiful setting and expertly cared for campground. Lots of activities on the weekends (camp host sends out regular texts) even in the rain. Excellent craft beer and cocktails at the camp store, which also offers an ice cream stand. Big clean pool and mini golf. Friendly available staff! Clean bath house with high pressure shower!!!

The park is small but offers a lot for families, but avoid site A6 at all costs as you will pay for FULL HOOK-UP Price even though you cant use the sewer connection as the inlet pipe is higher than your tanks and water does not flow uphill. Only option is to use their dump station or pack up and maybe move to another site, if its available.

We only stayed at Kampfires Campground for two nights as we were just passing through the area on our way back to NH, but we enjoyed our stay. Our site was spacious, had good water pressure. and 50A service. The grounds were well-maintained, bathhouses were clean, and friendly and helpful staff. We would have really enjoyed the park if it wasn’t raining so we could walk around, but maybe next time. Will definitely stay again in the future if in the area or looking for an easy getaway from NH.

I tend to stay here at the end of the camping season in the Fall when everything in the surrounding area is beautiful. My stay was wonderful as usual. There was nothing missing or that they could've done better. I enjoy the brochures outlining the surrounding area & fun activities that you have readily available ~ thank you for that!

This campground has a large number of activities. The communication and customer service are fantastic. A number of the sites were not level. Walking trails, adult lounge, large rec field, and incredibly fun mini golf course! The store also has a lending library of books and DVDs if you need to occupy yourself. This spot served our needs, and we were lucky to find a spot on a holiday weekend. Most of the firewood was dry and burned well. It is available after hours with a drop box, which was handy. They will also deliver. The one-way traffic at the gate is a little confusing in the dark. Some roads were tight, but we were able to navigate a large fifth wheel. The neighbor spots are quite close with no bushed or other dividers between.

We had a great stay! Thank you. Very clean and quiet campground. The pool is fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Easy to get trailer in and out of site. Utilities all upgraded. Ice cream stand on site. Close to all that the Brattleboro area has to offer.

We have been going to Kampfires campground for our annual cousins reunion for years. They do a terrific job of accommodating our large group. We love the music multitude of games, the pool and especially the delicious ice cream.

We had a large group of family stay over the weekend.. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Our 10 year old loved the large pool and ice cream. There were several other larger groups, yet no one was loud. we had a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to stay again. The sites and restrooms were very clean and grounds were well kept. NICE PEOPLE.. !!

We were in the Inn on the first floor and it was very comfortable. We love Brattleboro and Putney and come for the classical music festivals at Marlboro and Yellow Barn. The Inn was comfy. Families will especially like the miniature golf, pool, playground and ice cream!

The staff here are very friendly and warm. Nice sites with good water, electric and sewer. We were on a shady site in the back. It was very quiet and they had garbage cans back there so we didn't have to walk out to the dumpsters. My only criticism would be that the wifi was weak. I think the owners are new and trying to fix up things like the mini golf. The electric all seems new, so it's obvious they're making improvements. Location was great for visiting brattleboro.

We enjoyed our stay, as short as it was, at your location. We've been to a lot of different campgrounds both big and small. Yours is in a great location well kept up and the lots are good size in this spacing. Check-in was very easy and Staffing was very very friendly. Best part we got to see a black bear.

We stayed at this campground over a long weekend, while attending a nearby vintage camper event. It was a pleasant stay and a very well kept campground. The sites are a nice size and are extremely clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They had firewood delivered to our site before we arrived. There rates are very reasonable. We will definitely camp there again.

All I can say is Wow! This campground has everything. I especially loved the Scoops ice cream store. :-) I wish I could have tried every flavor. Office staff was very friendly and helpful. The dogs loved the fenced in dog park. There are so many spots depending on what you are looking for. Shady under the beautiful trees, or out in the sun for those of us who use solar. The whole campground was clean. Everyone has their own space, but very easy to talk to your neighbors if you wish. There is also so many things to see in the area: Madame Sherri Castle, lots of covered bridges, and the beautiful Chesterfield gorge. Everything you need is nearby or sold in the office store. Awesome restaurants also. River Garden marketplace had good drinks and food. The Whetstone Station in Brattleboro had some of the best views I've ever seen. I would recommend coming for an extended stay. There are so many things to see and do. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful time at this campground! We were there to compete in a dog agility trial. Everyone that we met were very kind and caring. I highly recommend this campground. It's in a very convenient location. Quiet, yet near lots of places to shop and eat. Not far from downtown Brattleboro. Loved it!

The owners do a great job with customer service. We had a wonderful stay. The facility exceeded our expectations. The sites were very spacious and well maintained. The shower was the best! We will definitely return if/when we're traveling that way.

This place was great! I stayed in one of the rooms in the inn and everything was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the climate control worked very well. The campgrounds are within easy access to outdoor activities and the city of Brattleboro (minutes away). The staff and check-in process was very easy. Would easily stay here again when and if in the area.

We just left Kampgrounds from a long weekend of camping. We were camping in our pop up. We had a tent site that was very spacious and had enough power for what we needed. The campground is beautiful and very roomy - none of the sites felt crowded or on top of each other. The bathrooms were so nice, clean and well stocked. We had our dog with us, so did not use the clubhouse. The pool area was relatively large. We loved that ice cream and a food truck were available as well. Overall it was a really nice visit - we were so impressed that we booked another weekend next month. Can’t wait!

We booked a room at Kampfires Campground very last minute on our drive home from Canada. We were able to get a room in the Inn and we were beyond impressed! The staff were very friendly and helped us book our stay over the phone. The check-in process was easy. Our room had so many thoughtful touches that made our 1-night stay amazing. I really wish we had stayed longer! Comfortable bed, good sized room, AC, fridge, complimentary snacks, nice shower -- everything you could need! When we checked out we drove through the property and were very impressed with the playground and campground. We will definitely plan to visit again! I am so happy they had a last minute room available :)

The staff was extremely accommodating and so friendly. The site was clean and very level. The bathrooms were the cleanest campground bathroom I’ve ever been in. We had a wonderful experience, and they were very accommodating for our dogs. The ice cream was very tasty wonderful staff and priced lower than anywhere! This campground is a gem

We loved Kampfires so much on our first visit we immediately made plans to come here again the following month. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. They always seem to have an event or concert going on the weekends. The food truck was open on our first visit but closed on our second due to staffing shortages since college is back in session. If it happens to be open when you visit it is certainly worth a try. The pool is a salt water type which is great for the kiddos who never want to leave - no burning eyes and smelly swim attire. Our first time we stayed in the F Group of sites which is in the trees and even though it is closer to the freeway you really cannot hear it. Our second stay we camped in the A Group of sites (aka The Meadow). There is no shade (unless you get the back row) and the hornets were a bit troublesome. However, it is closer to the playground, pool & mini golf. They have an ice cream parlor with vegan options and a well stocked beer and wine cooler too. Our second visit was just as good as the first and we are hoping to come back in the fall one last time for this season.

We just recently stayed for 3 nights (tent camping in C12) and had a GREAT time. We visited for the first time last year and Kampfires, once again, did not disappoint. Bathrooms are clean and showers are roomy by campground standards (a huge plus). Our site was big enough for a canopy over the picnic table in addition to our large tent. The service is friendly and our kids love playing mini golf every day and having ice cream on site. They don't even complain when we skip s'mores because we already had dessert! Great family campground. We will be back.

Our stay at Kampfires last weekend was fabulous! In fact, we have visited 8 campgrounds this summer and my husband and I agree that Kampfires is the only one we want to return to. It is small, clean, quiet and very well organized (COVID restrictions). We loved being able to visit the Whetstone Craft Beers truck onsite (serving food and drinks) and sit outside to enjoy our food & drink while listening to an acoustical set by a local musician. Our 8 year old daughter was very happy with the ice cream shop! The pool was beautiful & clean. The mini golf looked like it was recently renovated and several families were enjoying it. We were at site F3 and loved overlooking the field.
