Had a battery vs alternator situation that needed addressed that Advanced Auto could not fix. Was hoping to get in within a few days. Keith told me to pop in (it was already after 5pm). My car was diagnosed, fixed and I was home by 6:15. Not the only work he has done for us, but just an example of their service and dedication. Great spot for a honest State Inspection too. So grateful that Mikes Auto in Malletts Bay recommended them years ago for a job that that they couldn’t do.

Luckily for me, the family i’m marrying into is as loyal as they come, even to their techs ? without the reccomendation to see Keith and the MasterTech crew from my to-be MIL&FIL, I dont belive my little ‘espresso bean’ (brown 2015 buick encore) would have made its treck from VT so SC this past weekend. As everyone knows, the whole world is expensive and as my fiance and I are setting up our life, any and all unexpected delays/costs are nerve wracking (managable, but nerve wracking). Keith was unbelievably transparent about any and all costs from parts to labor. Long story short, my car had a piece replaced with a non GM part prior to my purchase of it, which inevitably did not hold up the way it shouldve. After repeated engine overheating scenarios leaving the coolant bone dry, the problem was diagnosed by keith to be the Water Pump. Keith immediately sourced all the parts needed for my vehicle, told me the cost, gave me an estimate for labor (which came back lower on the final bill than it was on the estimate, saving an additional ~$200). Keith repeatedly went above and beyond to communicate with and accomodate us including taking us on a drive with him to ensure all was in working order and COMING IN ON A SAT - as the master tech with such seniority and so many people who are reliable and capable themselves working their aside from himseld, it spoke volumes that he showed up himself to ensure the work being put out of the shop was 100% to his standard and would hold up for the long drive we had planned for literally the very next day. Just 4 hours after dropping the vehicle off, it was fully repaired- happy to say the ‘espresso bean’ became ‘the lil espresso bean that could’ once again thanks to the team at Mastertech. Also they have the sweetest dogs who roam the lot and relieve any of your axieties and stress about whatever is going on with your vehicle which is 5/5 all on its own ?

Being a single mom and on my own I had my back against the wall, trying to figure out how I was going to get my son‘s car to be safe on the roadways again. I remember driving home and passing by MasterTech Automotive to turn around saying to myself, let’s see if they can help me. Not only did they make the time to help me, but also went through his car to make sure my son would be safe on the roadways. I got lucky and that’s why I’m giving this review, to highly recommend MasterTech Automotive to anymore who needs quality work done on their vehicles.

I have been taking my vehicles to Master Tech Automotive for several years, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Kieth and the team are truly exceptional; not only are they thorough in diagnosing and explaining the issues, but they also complete services in a timely manner. They promised a timeframe and delivered within it, which is something I greatly appreciate as someone with a busy schedule. The quality of work was top-notch, and my car has been running smoothly ever since. My car had a very dead battery, and a very stubborn wheel bearing! Keith & Co fit me in immediately, and did not give up on the job until it was done. They even helped me find rides to and from home while the car was getting fixed. Highly recommend.

We've taken our vehicles to Keith for 17yrs; yes we've spent a chunk of change over the years but not as much as going to a dealership. There were times when some issues with vehicles were hard to track down and make the appropriate repairs. Keith worked through possible causes and only charged for the work that actually fixed the issue and not for most other work that may not have been part of the original issue.

Keith at Master Tech Automotive made an extremely stressful experience with my vehicle so seamless and stress-free. My vehicle was so well repaired in the most timely manner with wonderful communication along the way. Can’t possible recommend more highly. Will return for all my mechanical needs in the future. Last week I brought my 07 outback in with some known issues and expected bad news. When I was given the bad news they seemed to genuinely feel bad when they told me about all the things wrong. I chose to not repair and they charged me for basically just a failed inspection even though they definitely spent hours diagnosing things. I would 100% recommend this shop

By far the best service ever for both my vehicles. Recently my husbands car was making a rattle the night before, by morning it was louder. I was nervous for my husband too drive it, as he travels far for work. My husband took my van for the day. I was without a vehicle other than his sitting in my driveway. Master Tech usually don’t work on Saturdays, they went out of their way to squeeze me in. They came and picked up my husbands car, as I was too scared it might break down on me. They were able to fix the noise and found the problem the actual dealership missed. They came back to pick me up to pay and I was able to take the car home. 5 star service, I just love Master Techs honesty and punctuality in communication. Thank you so much Master Tech!

I recently had a problem with my muffler. It was about to fall off. I went to Master Tech. They were able to take me right away. Most places are appointment only, and those can take days. I had an appointment in a couple of hours. They had Bond auto expedite the parts. The repairs were completed in just over an hour. The techs there are very good at what they do and are extremely customer oriented. I would not use any other shop. UPDATE: I recently had an issue with my brakes. Everyone was busy with snow tires and had no openings for 2 weeks. The car was unsafe to drive. They took me in the same day I called. The parts were expedited and my care was repaired the same day. The employees were very courteous and professional. the quality of the repair was excellent. I highly recommend them for auto service.

Just had my snow tires put on and an oil change done. As usual, Keith and his crew go above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service at a fair price. As a business owner myself, I admire and respect Mastertech's old-fashioned customer service. It's hard to fine these days!

Saved me literal thousands! I don't drive my car often as I work from home, so imagine my surprise when I found out that the terrible noises and service light was because I'd run out of oil. I'm not young & know how to check these things. I was at least 100 miles short of needing my oil changed, but apparently, I'd let things go too far. Keith & his team figured it out quickly and took care of it. I could have blown my engine! I went back 2 weeks later because we've got people trying to steal gas from our cars in my neighborhood and my gas tank door wasn't locking. Keith crawled into my trunk, took apart my gas tank cover, and found that the culprit was a faulty door activator - a $37 part! My fuel door locks and once again I can park in my building's garage again. These guys will dig & dig until they find the cause. Call them today!

They care and their work shows it! Excellent service offered to a travel COVID nurse! :-) Service performed even after hours on a weekday night and a weekend morning to allow a nurse to continue to get to work safely. 21 years of an A+ reputation proved true at this shop! Repaired frozen caliper front wheel, front wheel bearing, real wheel bearing, front brakes, front axle, and out of stock parts ordered and timely installed from 10/12/23-10/13/23 and finished on 10/15/23. Best of all a warranty on parts that has reciprocity across US. Best shop to stop at!

AN ABSOLUTE LIFESAVER!!! BEST IN THE AREA!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! It was late Thursday and I was traveling from out of state to see my daughter at parents weekend at UVM. Unfortunately, my truck started making loud engine noises just as I got into town. There was nothing I could do until the morning. Not being from the area, I knew it would be practicly impossible to find someone to work on a diesel engine, on a Friday, at a moments notice. Early morning I started making calls, and Sean at MasterTech was the first, and only one to inform me that they could look at the truck if I could get it there. After a tow and a quick diagnosis, Keith (the owner) assured me he'd have my truck ready by the afternoon. Not only that, he gave me a ride back to where I was staying and offered to lend me a car of his own until my truck was ready. (Who is that nice, this day in age?!) True to his word, he had my truck up and running by the early afternoon; allowing me to visit with my daughter worry free. I can't thank him and his team (Sean & Jamie) enough! Thanks for fitting me in at a moments notice and the expediency in which you fixed my truck. Thanks for generously giving me a ride back and the offer to use your car. And thanks for allowing me to spend the weekend with my daughter without stressing about getting my truck fixed!!

Was looking for a new auto repair shop, stopped by Mike's in the bay they recommend Master Tech in the bay. Called them and asked them a few questions, made a appointment. We are down to one car so they brought me home and picked me up. First time good experience, friendly, seems vary knowledgeable. Would recommend.

Had break issues with my wife’s Kia Soul, took it here and they fixed the issue. No more grinding noise and car stops better. Great group of guys that know what they’re doing. Will definitely be going back for future repairs. Smart, Funny and personable attitudes from owner to employees.

Don’t go to this place they damaged my car while it was getting fixed. Plus, he was trying to get more money out of me because my insurance paid for my incident that I hit a bear and he’s trying to get more money out of me. The only thing I had done was the brakes rotors and the oil change and he was trying to get $1400 more out of me.

This place is an honest honest mechanic shop. Having been in the car business for over 8yrs, I can tell you, it's very hard to find honest mechanics, and us being new to the area I'm grateful to have found this place. We had a 1200 mile trip coming up this week. I had asked to get the oil changed and self supplied brake pads put on our Porsche Cayenne. I was told to come back after the trip as we could hold off doing the work till after. They also suggested replacing the rear rotors as we'd most likely need to within the next 5k miles or so, which would make the new expensive brake pads needing to be changed once again. Basically they saved me a solid 400 in pads.

Can’t say enough good things about this place, I’m so glad I found it! They got me in quickly for an oil change and the time flew while I waited because everyone in there is so friendly and happy to chat. I loved getting to spend time with the beautiful pup Roxy, too. While there they noticed my mirror was busted and offered to find the part after I’d been told be a precious mechanic that it was too hard to find. They got me back in a few days later and even switched out the color to match my car. 11/10 customer service, love these guys!

We broke down with a bad radiator on the way back from a camping trip, a few hours from home, with our cat in tow. We were tired and stressed about how we could get it fixed and make it home that night. Keith and the whole staff at MasterTech were awesome, they went above & beyond to take care of us and make sure we weren't stranded. They even dropped us off somewhere comfortable to hang out and get some food while they replaced the radiator. These are wonderful human beings doing great work (and telling very funny jokes btw) and we would 10/10 recommend!

Good place to get your vehicle serviced ! The guys take good care of you and it's a small business so it's locally owned. They take the time with your Car. They are forthright in telling you what's wrong with your vehicle. I haven't had one bad experience there. Keith is a nice guy and the service tech is really attentive to detail. Can't get much better than that.

When a new tire I bought from MasterTech failed, it wasn't clear whether it was my fault or a defect in the product. Keith worked with the manufacturer and they, MasterTech, and I split the cost of repair 3 ways. Keith could have just refused to do anything, so I was impressed that he worked to share the responsibility among everyone. That is exactly the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back! I've lived in so many different places and this is the best mechanic and shop I've ever come across. Keith is a great guy and is always honest. His mechanics are the same. Great group that really cares and his dog will meet you at the door with a smile. Keith and his crew have always looked out for me and the safety of my vehicle. I can't express enough gratitude to them. Every fix they've done to keep me going has been done once and keeps running long after they completed their repairs. If you aren't using them for your car's needs you're missing out on what all of us look for in a shop. Here, they're affordable, have a loaner vehicle, honest, do exceptional work and you know they care. Please don't hesitate to call them and bring your car in. They have been working on my cars for years. They do a great job and I appreciate that they always call me before doing anything extra other than what I have asked for. I get their fluid film every year and love the fact that I don’t pay that much because having had it done for several years it takes less fluid so less cost. My cars last longer because they take such good care of them for me . I enjoy have a trustworthy mechanic I can take my car too .

We had alignment issue on drive up from Florida during Thanksgiving week... Turned out we needed two tires also.... When every other shop was booked up into December for snow tires, they were able to squeeze us in as a drop off. Great price on two all season tires and balance/alignment.... Friendly people, good people who did quality work for us on short notice. They were willing to help arrange transportation for us too. Thank you. We'd suggest to others who need work done.

What a great experience. Keith(owner) drove me to my house after I dropped off. Also provided a loaner car when we needed more work done. He explained everything that we needed done to the vehicle in a great understandable way and so nice about everything. We have been going there since we moved to area almost 7 years ago and it gets better every time. Thanks again Keith we do appreciate your hard work. Excellent customer service from Keith & his team at Master Tech! They always take such good care of me as a customer. Right before Christmas my "blue buggy" was smashed by a plow guy. My front end was wrecked! After my car sat at another shop for 2 weeks with out estimate mind you, Keith called the shop him self & explained I'd like my car! The other shop quoted above my budget. Keith cut my bill in half & saved me a big chunk of change! Excellent customer service, keeping me informed is very important! & most kindly of all loaned me a nice Volvo with heated leather seats (that I miss!) For over 2 weeks, that my friend is above and beyond. Best shop I've ever been to! Thanks again! You rock! Big shout out to the new kid on the block Randy! You are awesome!
