Outstanding service!! They helped me out with a hose replacement and I had my van back the next day. For major repairs I would expect to be on a waitlist but it’s worth it. Fair pricing and excellent customer service and care.

I stopped by on the off chance that my hood latch could be repaired before heading home to Canada. Thinking that it may be a cable which would have to be ordered I was extremely relieved when Devon repaired the latch within 15 minutes at no charge!

Matt definitely goes above and beyond in the service and expertise he provides his customers at LTA. Recently, I brought in my little '17 Mini Cooper for four new tires, an oil change, and an inspection. I dropped my car off in the morning, and, after inspecting the car, he called me by noon with his assessment (he always calls after an assessment and carefully explains what needs to be done); he said the brake pads really needed to be replaced as well, in order for the car to be inspected. I understood and was glad he caught this. He then provided what I felt was a very fair quote for the entire job. The price was good, he said, in part, because he said he was able to find a really good deal for the new tires from a source he trusts. I was very happy that he was willing to go this extra step to save me money. Unfortunately, he said, the brake pads were not only going to be more expensive than he originally thought, but on top of that, delivery of them was going to be delayed several days. I was not happy about this, but to make it up to me, Matt offered a discount on his overall labor AND gave me the inspection for free. So this is what I mean when I say Matt goes above and beyond! I love bringing my car to Matt. I urge you to, too!!
Matt is an impeccable mechanic! He is our first call if there is ever an issue with our cars. We trust his insights and he always works to get us a very fair price with a clear plan to fix the issue. We're lucky to have him in the area.
Matt & Brian are professional, honest, clean and organized. Sent my car in for oil change and possible brake replacement. Matt (owner) called to let me know that I did not in fact need brakes but just a quick service. Upon arrival to pick up the car, Matt comes into the office and lets me know exactly everything he sees under the vehicle and what I may need to address and what I will not need to address for a good while and let’s me know the quality of the under carriage of the vehicle. Highly recommended, great honest guys and reasonable rates! Will be back again and again!!
Would highly recommend this auto shop! Matt was very professional and has great prices. He explains everything in detail so that you will understand. He dropped what he was doing to fix my broken wiper blade. He wouldn’t accept any payment. He did my oil change and tire change in a timely manner. I will definitely be back when it’s needed. 10/10
They broke the ebrake cable while replacing a rear caliper and didn’t know why the BRAKE warning light wouldn’t go off or why the ebrake wasn’t working so they sent us to the dealer. Dealer had to replace a bad caliper (that was just installed) in addition to the ebrake cable. Long Trail did reimburse us for the bad caliper but nothing for the cable they broke. $600 job turned into $1200 even with the reimbursement.
Diagnosed very finicky Audi A8 electrical gremlin(s). Florida car doesn’t agree with minus temperatures of Vermont. Typical PIA Audi problems, just turned 100k. So expect more, so will be back.
I came in yesterday for the first time. Matt and Matt were polite and professional. They took care of spark plugs, found and repaired a tire leak, completed an oil change, and pointed out an air filter in need of replacement. They also diagnosed a rattle that has been rather annoying, and repaired it for me. I'll be back next time I need some repairs, thank you!
