I wrote this review initially in 2019. A year later, I added what extraordinary customer service Mike provides. During the pandemic, he picked up my car from my house, had the work completed to his usual high standards, took payment over the phone, had surfaces disinfected, and returned the car to my home. I am grateful to be working with such a considerate business owner. Truly exceptional quality, service and people, and prices that are very reasonable. Communication always is outstanding. Always let's me know if something unexpected is discovered, and I choose what to do. Completely trustworthy. It's now 2024, and Mike's is still the best. Happy customer since 2001!

Mike was very professional and friendly. He even offered to buy me a cup of coffee. Every time I called there someone answered the phone in a timely manner (unlike other repair shops). His customer service was above and beyond what I normally receive from a auto repair shop. He even kept magazines in the waiting room women might be interested in. His crew was respectful to me, and I am extremely happy with the work they did on my car. They were quick and did the job right.

I called Mike’s auto because I needed an inspection quickly so my daughter could use the car for her drivers test and they fit me right in and were very professional, fast, and friendly.

I bought a car from Mike’s auto in 2017 they claimed that they had change the head gaskets already and did the timing belt. Here I am a few years later depending on the work in which they told me they did I had it checked out At three different independent shops who showed me the work in which Mike’s auto did and they did the head gasket repair in the most cheaply function they could without moving the heads after there was clear depiction that it needed it. Thank you for not quality work

My family has been taking their cars to Mike’s for over 25 years and they are the best. They have saved our collective butts more times then we can remember. We were just stuck on the side of the road and within 15 minutes they’d had a tow truck out to us and quickly fixed the car we’d thought was a goner. Couldn’t recommend them higher!

Tom the tow truck driver was great. Helped us out on a holiday evening and was generous enough to reopen the shop to repair our tire so we could get home to our kids on the same day. We were truly fortunate that Mikes Auto happened to be the people we called when we got a flat in the middle of nowhere. Price was VERY reasonable. $150 for the tow and $3.50 per mile that its on the truck to take us back to the shop.

Love the honesty and helpfulness when needed. Had to have a ride home day left truck. Mike was happy to get me home. Got back in very good fashion. Recommend these people who work there for Mike. And of course, Mike.

Mikes Auto are great mechanics..Priced fairly..Oil changes include checking all fluids..If they see something out of spec they will tell you..They even can do an engine replacement with professional skill..Thanks

I bought a Buick Century from Mike's Auto in 2012 and it was a magnificent car!!! As a college student and minimum-wage earner at the time, I found the car to be the perfect price for my budget. Mike's Auto has a welcoming, casual and comfortable environment. The experts who have been working there are trustworthy and friendly and can fix anything. They make sure that the vehicle is safe to drive, and the prices are affordable. Towing is available, too! Members of my family who have come to Mike's Auto (Pa, Mom, Gerhard, Patrick, Heidi - and me!) all love Randy, Doug and Mike, who have worked there. Took our only vehicle here last winter to be repaired because of a rough idle. Almost $600 later, got it back running worse, with a complimentary fuel leak. Worst part is the leak was right behind the fuel filter which they had just replaced. Took advantage of a young couple. As long as they get their money, right?

I have been going to Mike’s for a year and could not be happier. My most recent visit I worked with Tom who was willing to stay late past closing so I could pick up my car after dealing with some worried phone calls from me throughout the day. Mike’s was great, because in addition to the work they were scheduled to do the people checked out some of my concerns which came up when I dropped my car off. I am eternally grateful. Thank you

Love these guys. Honest, reasonably priced and pretty fast. An additional bonus is that their shop is 5 minutes from downtown Middlebury so you can walk around and do things while your car's up on the rack.

I've used Mike's Auto and Towing for years. They are all highly qualified professionals and really care about their customers. For an example, when my son was visiting he got a flat tire. I called, and they said to come over even though it was almost closing time. They stayed late waiting for us, found a nail in the tire and plugged the hole, rather than trying to sell him a new tire as some outfits would. I even bought a used Honda from their used car dealership and it's still giving good service after 5 years.

State inspections are a little pricey but honest hard working guys. Straight shooters. Brought my car in and failed inspection and they didn't charge me. After I got the tpms sensor fixed I went back without an appointment and the guy was nice enough to do inspection. Not the cheapest but will come back for the service. Knowledgeable and friendly mechanics

These guys saved my ass, even staying open past close, when my city boy car slid off the road into a snowy ditch. They were fast, knowledgeable, and friendly -- one of the best auto repair experiences I've ever had.

Mikes has been awesome. My whole family goes to them and I just got my car worked on there for the first time. They were affordable and did a great job. I have had a continuously good experience with MIke's over the years and would suggest them to anyone.
