Great place to recycle! You sort your own items yourself… no need to even talk to a staff member. Super easy and convenient!

Very easy and friendly and helpful staff and volunteers. Don't use the hand sanitizer though. It has a foul odor that sticks with you through several serious hand washings.

They go out of their way to make recycling plastics easy. Also, make sure you should their store for goodies the help out their operation.

Such a convenient and well organized service. Love Dumpster days too. Since there is no curbside recycling for glass, that's my most used case. Please do NOT throw glass by the way. Also, please turn your cars off-kinda defeats the purpose. I saw a review that said the staff is trained to be mean and some people don't know how to recycle. There are plenty of signs that get ignored. If you don't know, ask nicely after looking for signs, but don't take it out on staff who many times are volunteering their time. I also love that they offer some things, such as potting plants, constructions materials, cardboard boxes for resuse/2nd hand sale. Volunteers and employees/leadership all amazing.

The staff at Recycle Utah and the service and information they provide to us is at least 5 stars. Ask them anything about sustainable living and recycling waste and they will give you the scoop. The world needs more Recycle Utahs.

Love that we have a recycling center, and everything they do, however it seems like they train their staff to be mean. The public may not be fully educated on how to recycle properly and what is recyclable, but I expected them to educate and provide info in a friendly manner, they are dealing directly with the public and that means they are in the customer service industry. Their attitude really just rubs me the wrong way. I feel like I need to hold my breath when I’m recycling there.

Overall a great place to recycle. Wish they took PVC water pipe. Not a plumber just use to build things so wind up with scrap. They do eRecycling too for a fee. Was a great help when was downsizing before moving. Despite assurances from staff can recycle off hours was closed making a trip all the way from SLC to do paper recycling. They also close for holidays so check their schedule. Update now they do take shredded paper plus they have a shredder there. However maybe better to bring already shredded was occupied the whole 30min I was there last time. Maybe another shredder even though they are much bigger than personal sized shredders? However not sure they would take the microsized shredded paper since their size is the strip shredded paper. Also haven't been since corona virus upsurge so might be worth checking if they are still open. Seems recycling would be an essential business since have seen contractors bring scrap metal. Not likely to go again until corona virus has passed since is close quarters and impossible to keep 6ft social distance unless they just allowed a few people in at a time. They don't take packaging paper whatever that means. Does it mean Christmas wrapping paper? Or is it that brown paper wadded up to protecting shipments. A picture would be helpful. Is just a hand scrawled sign. Plus last checked don't take shredded paper either. Since the private company SLC recycling doesn't take any paper can only throw shredded paper away...Then went into the office to ask if green plastic bottles were considered clear bottles or not. The lame answer was they were a volunteer they didn't know. What kind of operation doesn't train their volunteers to be helpful with recycling?

Very well organized. The people that work there are so knowledgeable about recycling that I've learned a great deal enabling me to recycle more than I ever thought possible. Those workers are certainly helping to save our world.

Excellent recycling facility. Clean, well organized, with helpful staff to educate and answer questions. Well done.

Good selection to recycle pretty much anything! There was an aluminum can crusher but it wasn’t any more efficient than using my foot. Also, most of the aluminum cans did not seem crushed in the bin anyway. There seems to be an enforcement issue.

They're super helpful and take everything. You sort it yourself which is a great way of getting educated on what is actually recyclable. Thanks Recycle Utah team for helping our planet stay green.

This is surprisingly the only place around to take all of your recycling. But, they will take everything that can be recycled, so they are doing a good service! Even better, they are a thrift store that sells things still in good condition with a lot of life left to them for excellent prices! They also have construction material saved from remodeling, kept out of landfills. Some of the other things we noticed they recycle here, but rarely anywhere else are: alkaline and rechargeable batteries, ink cartridges, toothpaste tubes, flags, e-waste like old printers and flat TVs, and so on! Don’t throw out your “trash”! You’d be surprised what will recycle! And they are a non-profit, so your donation can be counted as a tax write off.

So glad we have this center right in Park City. No excuse not to recycle the items that don't fit or don't get picked up at my house. I regularly take glass, plastic and cardboard here. Staff have always been really helpful and friendly when I've had questions about what goes where.
