The absolute disrespect from Brax… is astounding and uncalled for. I absolutely do not care if you are a supervisor. If I am asking for your managers information you should comply. A HOA has absolutely no right to touch any vehicle without running plates. That is 100% illegal. Should you touch my vehicle on my property you will be sued along with the HOA. If cops don’t even pull me over for not changing tags… you have no business towing vehicles without the proper permission/information.
Recently, we were driving from Washington state to Central America. I was pulling a horse trailer with a one ton Chevy. Going up a long, long hill just south of Provo, Utah I glanced in the review mirror and saw nothing but smoke coming from the trailer. I pulled over and discovered the wheel bearings on the trailer had disintegrated. I was stuck on a mountain with my trailer hanging out in the traffic.
My wife and daughter drove back to the last town and called a towing service. The first driver they sent brought a rig to tow the Chevy after being told they would be carrying a trailer. They left. My wife called the outfit back and told them again what was required. This time they sent a driver from Advanced Towing.
Before even leaving the shop, the driver called me to confirm where I was and he would be towing/carrying. When he arrived, it was obvious he knew what he was doing. He got the trailer loaded with semi’s and crazy people flying by. He gave me directions to the place that was going to fix the trailer and headed down the mountain. I followed in the Chevy. He called a couple times during the trip to make I was doing okay. He waited for me at the shop. Unloaded the trailer and then helped me make sure it was secure before he left. If it wasn’t for him, his skill and professionalism I don’t know that we would have made it to our final destination with our trailer.
Thank you, Advanced Towing. If you’re reading this review looking for a towing company, you can stop looking. Advanced Towing is the best. Wish there were more stars to give them.
You can't really expect too much from a towing company. If you can avoid doing business with this towing company do so. Made an appointment after hours to pickup a car with a friend. Granted the whole parking and being towed was at our fault. However, when you make an appointment you have some kind of expectations to be somewhat on time. Maybe be 5 or 10 min late. After the 10 min, we call to see if we were even at the correct location....person says they "ran into some traffic" and they are on their way. So after almost 45 min wait they finally get there. No apology, nothing. So what's the point in making an appointment? And how is there any given time is there that much traffic in SLC traffic to run that late?
Also on a side note, you can tell how this towing company operates with how they have to respond to every other "negative" review.
Their customer support/service is horrendous! Called to get scheduled tow for the morning and they acted like I was bothering them/ annoying them. Also talked to one person to schedule it and they acted annoyed with me calling and the second dude was on the morning i needed a tow and he said that they usually don’t schedule tows/ had no information about me scheduling a tow for the morning. Do not recommend.
One star is too much for Advanced Towing. The target torment people , illegally tow cars and harass people the live in communities they have contracts with probably due to the fact they simply dont have the skills and knowledge to actually recover a car from a ditch! Sleezy pathetic tow truck company! Criminal investigation pending !
Hayden is terrible. Unwilling to work with you regarding an unjust towing situation. Claims it was double parked in a HOA community but will not show us pictures. The passes were displayed. Do not do business look elsewhere
AMAZING customer service from the initial phone call to when my car was dropped off to it's destination. No one wants to get stranded, especially on a Sunday when you are from out of town. If you are, I HIGHLY recommend that you call these guys.

I can’t begin to tell you how responsive, professional, and genuine a person our tow driver was tonight. Put my wife and I at ease after my son wrecked our vehicle. His name is Braxton and he was top notch. We have a good eye for people in our career and we could tell he cared. The guy came out instantly at 12:30am. Lifted the vehicle with care and assured us all will be okay. I hope this company acknowledges his effort. -Jeff

They were responsive, answered my calls, and provided clear instructions throughout the process. I scheduled an after-hours pickup, and the team was quick and professional.
Even though this was a frustrating situation for me, I really appreciate how they handled everything smoothly and with professionalism.
I received great service from Braxton on a tricky tow. He went above and beyond to help me out and get my car where it needed to go. Braxton was easy to talk to, very friendly, and professional. He went the extra mile for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again.

My wife’s car’s hybrid system would not engage and allow me to drive the vehicle, so I hired this service. They were fast to get someone out and the price quotes was very reasonable. In the end the driver was able to get the car to engage so we could drive it saving us a substantial amount of money. Ken (the driver) even gave us his cell so if the car gave us any issues he would head straight to us so we could get it to the mechanic. Everyone I had contact with from the owner to the driver was amazing and professional. If you need a tow company for any reason hire this company. Ignore the majority of the negative reviews as they are people blaming someone else for their ignorance. Also if your rude to people why do you expect them to continue to be nice to you.Also, follow the rules of your HOAs and the Laws.
Very dishonest people, they try not to answer the phone so that your vehicle is in their lots longer and the can charge more have put in 27 calls over a period of two days trying to get a hold of someone to get my car. Also there was severe damage to my car.
These guys are a bunch of crooked bullies. For just one example, the jerk seen a car pull up to drop off a Christmas present and went around the corner to hide until the owner got out of his vehicle to run up to an apartment to drop his present off with his kids. The tow driver then hurried and hooked onto the poor guys car and then proceeded to charge him $100 to drop the car. ON CHRISTMAS EVE.
I was just a tag-a-long in someone else trying to get their car back and it was terrible to watch. When we walked in the guy there was lounging back watching Good Mythical Morning so I thought it would go smooth, no. He immediately got mad that there were questions being asked about picking up the car (i.e. is there a way to pick up a relatives car after hours or to pick it up without her present. Which BTW he answered incorrectly when we referred to utah.gov) so he told us we had to leave and he abruptly left the trailer and told the guy who was in this mess with them that he wasn't allowed on the property anymore because he wasted 15 minutes of the guys time when he had work to be done.... which he was trying to look busy walking out to the tow truck at that point all aggressive like... but he looked pretty comfy and not busy when we got there. I'm still at a loss how it escalated the way it did and why the guy got so aggressive so fast, I can't imagine the job would come across many happy people but we went in meaning no harm and not expecting the reaction we got but it is what it is. We made sure our HOA didn't go though their services after this and have lovely management we let know about this company. I suggest if you want happy campers in your community, don't use this company and if you want to stay a happy camper, don't move to a community who uses this towing company.
Braxton quite literally saved me life after being stranded at 2 am. Very accommodating, got to me within 15 minutes, and played the best music. Mood improved immensely given the situation and 10/10 driving skills
Advanced towing is a predatory business. My car was towed from a friend’s HOA, Advanced claimed it wasn’t registered. The vehicle was absolutely registered - I believe Advanced Towing removed the sticker from the vehicle either before or possibly after the vehicle was towed to cover their tracks. When I went to the lot to retrieve the vehicle- they asked for personal information after I provided my drivers license and proof of ownership. When I declined to provide the additional information, they refused to release my vehicle and attempted to run us over in their lot with a tow truck. Advanced is predatory at best and criminal at worst. There are certainly reputable towing companies, this is absolutely not one of them. Hopefully, they won’t be in business for long.
Worst people ever! Shady and very unprofessional! They changed their name from beehive to advanced towing . Guy is rude and thinks he is the God of the towing and the know it all yet he can’t answer simple common sense questions without nagging about why he should answer them. Will tow you no matter what even if you parked in the wrong spot for 5 mins. I was parked on a visitor spot for a few mins and when I came out my car was gone and he didn’t honor the 24 hr warning they are supposed to give you and when I asked he said he can do whatever he wants and that not even police could stop him! The guy is Very arrogant and guaranteed to be as greasy and heavy as his pride . Don’t use this place at all! There is a reason they changed their business name
I haven’t used this towing service, but based on the driving of the tow truck driver, I would never use them. The driver cut me off in traffic and I held up my hands as if to say, “What are you doing?“ The driver felt it necessary to stop in front of me on the freeway, stopping traffic, and turn around and hold his hands up mimicking me and then made gestures of hitting his hands on his chest (as if to make fun of someone with an intellectual disability) and then blew me a kiss. I don’t know if all their employees are immature but at least one is. If you look through their reviews, you will find that this review is not the only one regarding poor driving.

I-15 southbound a little after 4pm on Friday, Oct 11 2024, Maybe 4:15pm at about 106000 south. The truck said Advanced Towing on it and after googling that name there were several advanced towing locations; so, I matched the phone number on the truck to this advanced towing location in order to leave an accurate review.
The young woman who actually came to help me I would give 5 stars. She was very sweet, very understanding and really went above and beyond to help me. She was patient and explained everything and answered all of my questions and was very friendly and personable. The manager on the phone was another story. I have never talked to a more condescending individual. Nor have I ever talked to anyone who was so opposed to taking accountability. I had been told to call ahead to let them know when I was coming. I made my first call at 3:45, well before their 5pm closing time. It rings and rings and rings several minutes and then the call drops. Fine, whatever, people are busy, I can call back later. I call back on my way there since I left work early and with traffic it took me an hour to get there. They asked for a 20 minute warning though so I have some time. It rings and rings. No answer, no voicemail. I arrive, knowing they close at 5pm and it's 4:30, and I hope that maybe they're just busy and they have a representative at an office here. They do not. The only number on the sign is the one I have been calling with no luck. I wait a few minutes, calling a few more times before I notice their banner has a different number. I call that one twice. No answer. Out of desperation just to know what's going on I drive down to the office in Lehi. It's 4:55. It looks empty. I call one last time just to say I did. Someone FINALLY answers. He tells me they can have someone come down. I ask why it took so long for anyone to pick up. He doesn't know. I go all the way back to AF. I call the number again and the manager, Rachel picks up. I ask her why no one answered for an hour, she doesn't know but is apologetic for the wait. At first. I ask her if I will be subject to the $75 after hours fee. She says yes. I ask if there is any way that fee could be waived since I have been trying to get into contact with them since well before closing time. She informs me that she can't because it's not her fault that they answered me so late. Personally, I think that if a place charges you by the day to hold your property, that they should maybe answer their phone during their listed business hours. I did my due diligence, and tried many, many times to get a hold of them, again, DURING THEIR LISTED BUSINESS HOURS. She then, rather snidely, tells me that I shouldn't have bothered to show up without talking to anyone first since I showed up without knowing if anyone was there. I reminded her that I tried MANY TIMES and YOU PEOPLE CHARGE BY THE DAY so asking me to just give up and try again tomorrow is deeply unreasonable. She then went so far as to imply that I was lying about the amount of times I called, and said, "Now I know that you're frustrated and I also know you're asking me to do something, but I haven't decided if I want to do that for you yet." And at that point I had gone back and forth with her for way too long, basically having a circle of a conversation, and the employee who actually was helpful had shown up and I didn't want to keep her waiting. I literally don't even know what she wanted from me at that point. I had told her why I thought the charge was unfair and she spent like 10 straight minutes deflecting like it isn't her responsibility that dispatch apparently ignored my calls for an hour before closing. Anyway they girl I actually worked with face to face was an angel from heaven and if I only worked with her, this review would have been 5 stars. Without her, this review would have been 1 star. I hope you pay her well. And I hope Manager Rachel, if that is her name, steps in a deep, muddy puddle every day for the next six months. You were exhausting to talk to and not at all helpful.
Edit: I greatly appreciate the lady who assisted me. Like I said, she went above and beyond. It's your management that needs some accountability. Literally just answer your phones during business hours. I don't think that's too much to ask. Anyway here's the call log.
If I could give this maniac driver a -0000 I totally would. He was going 65 in a 35 zone and almost ran into the back of me. I called and he hung up in my face after I sent him photos. Please stay away from this place. Very unprofessional and not sure why he's still in business from all the negative reviews I see. I will be reporting this to BBB and highway patrol. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Horrible customer service, bad attitude. I called this company because they were the phone number listed on the sign in the property for which my daughter parked my car and got it towed. The person answering the phone had the worst attitude from beginning to end. He acted like it was an inconvenience that I called in the first place, he had already talked to my daughter but I wanted to make sure that I had all of the information as well. As he told me a very irritably and rudely that he had checked the system three times already and that the car was in no system and that it hadn't been towed. I believe that he couldn't see anything regarding my car being towed, but it was indeed towed as per the police department who thankfully, and kindly gave me the correct towing company phone number. This guy probably took less than 5 minutes out of his day to talk to my daughter and then myself but was so incredibly rude, I will never recommend this company or ever use them for any services. PERIOD
Unfortunately I had to call on Father’s Day in regards to my Ford Fusion, interrupting the owners time with his family, but gentleman was extremely kind and understanding, he had his driver Spencer come out first thing the next morning which Inwas totally fine with due to the timing of the call. Spencer was super cool, contacted me to let me know his eta, exactly on time. Very good rate, he was quick, professional, and very friendly. We chatted it up during the shower period it took him. Was sent a text of payment as well as a paper copy of invoice. Thanks guys, awesome job!
Had my truck towed to a transmission shop and while picking the vehicle up, they managed to slam it into a tree and dent my passenger side front fender. When I called them to confront the issue, they wouldn't respond to me. I've emailed them, called them more than two dozen times, and even went to their office. They have yet to get back to me, and I was forced to take the loss and purchase a new fender out of pocket. Absolutely terrible company. Zero professionalism.
Review is still up for debate. Sadly tow truck companies generally get a bad rap because they are performing service to you or another customer at a not so opportune time. Try not to take your frustrations out on them, it'll generally be better in the long run. For any discomfort dealing with an impound, its has been because of the arrogance and poor procedure performed by local cops responding to motorcycle vs auto at a routine 10-60 call. Displaced blame and not taking ownership of an obvious error by a West Jordan Police officer has put the unfavorable duty of standing gate keeper from recovering our stolen HD Street Glide in the lap of Advanced Towing. Towing regulations are brutal on folks that may or may not deserve the Karma for their cars incarceration. Like and follow me more as I "Go with the tow."
