Glen is hands down the best that I know of. I run an automotive shop in Sandy and have frequent need for machine work. I've gone through many machinists in the process of finding his business, Parts Connection. Can't recommend him enough!!
These guys saved me! I was struggling with a bearing press kit for multiple hours with zero progress. I dropped it off right before closing and they had it done the next morning. Best $40 I've spent.

I have used Parts Connection in Sandy many times, and have never once been disappointed. They do great work, sell good, quality stuff and are very reasonable. This is my go-to place whenever I need machine or press work. I had the inside race of a bearing completely weld itself to an axle trailer. I brought in the axle hoping they could salvage it. The side that had been damaged looked better than the other side when I picked it up. Whenever I have them replace U-joints in a drive shaft, I get it back greased, and the yoke shaft polished. Seriously this place has saved my butt half a dozen times.
I had a set of old rotors and drums from a 79 f250, I had to buy lugs and have them pressed out and all 4 turned. They worked.and communicated well with me throughout the entire process. I'm very happy and will use them many times in the future
The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. He has plenty of experience with all types of vehicles and is always willing to go the extra mile to make things affordable and functional. I've worked with them for years and it's always a good experience.
I worked with the owner today to get some struts pressed. He was very honest and professional and we got the job done. I really could not recommend this place more. Fair prices and honest hard workers.
Great place for quality parts. Glenn always has an answer for all my car needs, better than YouTube. Did my heads on my Avalon and runs better than OEM. VERY HONEST. Always has a good joke to tell.
Great place, VERY knowledgeable staff, higher quality parts, and they have a lot in stock...Plus they do machine work inhouse!! Been going there for over 15yrs when I'm working on something down in the sandy area.
These guys know their stuff, and will always lead you the right way. Prices and availability are as good as anyone else, but their knowledge adds more of a benefit.

These guys here were very knowledgeable, and offer engine from rebuilding cylinder heads to bearing work and more. I would drive here again for the service and excellent knowledge.
Great place to get machine work done. Glen knows what he's doing and does a great job meeting deadlines. Quality parts can also be had fairly quickly at decent prices here as well.
Just doesn't get any better. Glen and Art are the best. As somebody said earlier, they are from a different, service oriented era. They are both more helpful than any of the big box stores and their prices are great. They not only offer parts, but superb machine work as well. Even if you don't live in the Sandy area you will be happy you drove a few miles for the superb service at Parts Connection.
Mom and Pop style with commercialized store knowledge and experience! Always call these guys when no one else has what I'm looking for and they can have it "in a couple hours". I take all my machine work here!!
These guys are great. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they don't have the part, they can get it. This is what an auto parts store should be. And they are locally owned! Not some franchise, so help out the community and go here! Yes their prices are a little higher than competitors, but you will still save money by going here, let me explain:
Glenn saved me a couple hundred bucks when my starter motor for my Rodeo needing replacing, or so I thought. Turns out there are little copper pieces in there that the motor wears out, and the pieces are like 5 bucks each. So instead of selling me a new starter motor, he had me replace those instead, and it worked like a charm! If he wouldn't have told me about those pieces, I would be non the wiser and he would have made an extra couple hundred, but instead he has enough knowledge to help you save money.
I can assure you that you will not find knowledge and customer service like that at any of the other "big box" stores.
These guys are the best, and will give you unparalleled service in a day where excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff are rare. Willing to go the extra mile to help me out on a job I was working on, bent over backwards to help me figure out the solution, no parts place quite like them, plus they have a machine shop!
