If I could give this 0 stars I would. Very difficult and disrespectful people to work with. Our car got towed from the dealerahip ( who refuses to call our 2 warranty companies to fix our car and has been sitting in their lot for a year) to Utah Towing lot. We received a letter over the weekend on the holiday from the towing company about them having our car. This place is open M-F 8-5pm, they have 3 different lots and you have to go by appt because they have one person going from lot to lot. I called to schedule an appt. They ask what time and I give them a time and that doesn't work for them, so I'm give another time and they make a fuss. We agreed on a time but also they couldn't guarantee it. I live an 1 hr away so I need a confirmation especially because at the same time I'm told I have to provide my own towing... Isn't this a towing company?!?! Make it make sense. So coordinating between Utah Towing being difficult and coordinating with another tow company is difficult. Especially with Utah Towing wanting you to be there at the time agreed with the tow all ready to go. We meet up and pay the fees. The tow company that we hired got stuck in an accident and got delayed. The guy that we met with was more than willing to wait and said we could go since we had already paid the fees. So we leave, 20 minutes later we get a call from the owner's wife asking about an ETA, I responded with "I'll reach out but tow is stuck in an accident so idk if he can give an ETA". She responded with call me back when you know. I messaged our tow person and takes a few minutes to respond as he is driving. She calls back very shortly after and says her son can't wait any longer and has been waiting an hour. Mind you our appt was at 2:15 and it was 2:45. He had been there previously for another appt... Not our fault. I told her as a tow company they should have a good understanding that sometimes you get stuck in traffic and things don't go as plan. She didn't like that response and preceeds to say have the tow company call her when they are there and hangs up. We let our tow company know and they said they would handle it. Well she also hung up on them ( not sure what they said to her but I'm sure let her have it) as well but did show up. We did finally get our car but what terrible service from the owners. When I saw the reviews I figured I would have issues but I was not expecting this whole ordeal.
Multi car Towing LLC - I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely abhorrent, predatory behavior and blatant discrimination and disrespect by the employees we dealt with. We parked in a lot labeled for restaurant customers. We had to go across the street for to pick up a meal for a member of our party that had dietary restrictions that could not be accommodated by the first restaurant, with the intent to order food from said first restaurant for the other people who could eat there. Another person in our group has a physical disability (clearly marked by a permanent handicap placard in the vehicle) so it took a little extra time to return back to the car. In that less than 10min, we returned to an empty parking spot with only tires marks remaining. We called the listed phone number on the sign and were met by rude, unprofessional behavior during this stressful situation. Information was not clearly provided on how to obtain our vehicle and no assistance was provided in navigating the situation. When asked how we get to the lot without a car, we were told to just order an Uber through garbled speech that sounded as if the employee was intoxicated and we were hung up on multiple times. Despite posted signage that credit cards were accepted, staff would only accept cash, which we felt very uncomfortable with, especially when arriving to a desolate lot with no employees present. Unfortunately, even after paying the exorbitant fees ($12 for gas for a <10min drive, $42 for being in the lot for less than 20min, $75 for being towed on a weekend, $201 for towing, etc), our vehicle was disfigured by a large sticker on the window making it unsafe to operate the vehicle due to impaired vision through said window that was completely unnecessary as the sticker said there was a boot in place, which was untrue. Not only were we not treated with basic human decency and understanding, but we were blatantly discriminated against for having a handicap placard and out of state license plates. Disgusting behavior. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS.
Made us wait in the cold for well over 45 minutes. Wouldn’t get me my car. I parked in a restaurant parking lot (that was closed- it was midnight) so I could run in and pee! I was gone 1-2 minutes and my car was gone. I understand it’s a business but there was zero empathy and understanding. Just nearly $400 gone. It’s now nearly 2am and I still don’t have my car. Still freezing cold
I have premium coverage, which was suppose to cover any roadside assistance. Told over the phone that I would not have to pay a penny. I waiting for the tow truck for 3 hours on the side of a busy road. By the time the service was finished he said I had to pay $250 dollars for the tow. I called my insurance company to figure out why I’m being told two different things, and they informed me they do not know why and that they would help me at that moment. The tow truck driver started getting restless and started to get aggravated with me threaten to impound my car with in the next 5 minutes. Before I could get answered from my insurance company, he forced me to pay within the next 5 minutes or he would leave with my car. Then tries to charge me twice for the tow, Luckly I saw it went through and he ended up having to put more paper for the receipt. In all, it just felt like a scam. Will never use this service again. We ended up having to wait months to get reimbursed by my bank who investigated it.
Lost my keys to my car hang up on me. Everything was paid in full and left me here handling their jobs whole being 8 months pregnant in the sun!!! All the males in the office very disrespectful and derogatory behavior. Don't recommend using ever.
