We loved Sugar Moon Market! We grabbed some teas, sauces & jams, a cool charcuterie book and the best Worcestershire sauce on the planet! The owners were there and we had a great time meeting them. This will be a place we stop often!!! 💚
Sugar Moon Market is more of a magnolia type themed store with newer items to purchase than an actual antique store. Two floors to check out and plenty of home decor items to buy. Still, definitely worth a visit if you're in Hico, Texas.
If you haven't stopped in downtown Hico recently you are missing out. The downtown has been revitalized and is very nice, well worth stopping by and walking around. This store has a really interesting selection of goods, like spicy honey, and other articles that I haven't seen elsewhere. Take a break!
I loved this place the second I stepped inside. There's such variety, it's peaceful, and smells amazing. I bought some lovely scented soaps and had a great chat with the charming lady that owns it. She was so kind and I will definitely come back.
Such an awesome store. Artistically decorated with loving books, flower arrangements, nic-nacks, furniture and fixtures. A treasure in every nook. Such a delight to shop and get some really lovely pieces for my house.
The ladies working on Saturday were very welcoming and friendly. Pretty cool local artsy stuff. Picked up a few items. Definitely worth stopping by and checking out!
I have only been there years ago, but my sister-in-law and cousin decided to visit there today and the shop was just as beautiful as I had remembered it being before. the owner is so friendly gracious and kind we had a great time browsing and just looking at everything! Loved this little store! I am new to this area of Texas. First time I visited the store, a friend took me. Second time, I took my visiting friends. Can't wait to go again! My friend found several old books written in French (she is fluent in French) so she was thrilled. I always find something to buy. Be sure to go upstairs, there's bargains up there.
The word "antiques" needs to be removed from the business name. 99% of the store is modern farmhouse shabby chic decor. Very, very few antiques. And the very few antiques were way overpriced.
The Old lady at the front desk was a snobbish old bitty. I asked her if there were any other "just Antique/Vintage Store" She was obviously offended (even though I started off by telling her Thank you and You have a very nice store) But she said HATEFULLY," No, there was not any other stores with antiques" she also informed me "That she has some of the oldest antiques in town That I just couldn't tell because her stuff was very nice and came from London and Paris" Literally I walked out the door took a left and right next door was just the kind of antique store I was looking for. Packed full. Only thing was bit was closed on Fridays.
But Jeers to the lady who couldnt help out not me a Patron. But her neighbor an fellow small business owner. Not very nice. I've decided to stay over just to go back so I can visit this Vintage/antique store. But I Wont stop there.
What a delightful store! The entire Hico downtown area is as well but Sugar Moon is really special. We truly enjoyed stopping by and will check back often.
Wonderfuly charming place. A gem of a store for a one of a kind experience. Nostalgia awaits! Two floors of one of a kind treasures to be found, from antiques to the subpurbly picked Flax clothing and all the many more superb handpicked items from all over the world. A must see!
Wonderful collection of products. I love the ladies linen clothing, beautiful and so comfortable for here in Texas. Very reasonable prices for good quality linen and a fabulous selection. Be sure to check out the sale items upstairs!
PLATINUM STARS FOR THESE LADIES! TEXAS MONTHLY IS MISSING OUT AND THIS SHOP SHOULD BE ON THE FRONT PAGE. SUGAR MOON HAS BEAUTIFUL ITEMS FROM THE PAST WITH NEW MIXED IN. LOOKS PROFESSIONALLY DECORATED AND THE “HELP” ARE SO PRECIOUS & FRIENDLY. AS FOR THE PRICES I THINK THEY ARE VERY REASONABLE. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
