Ricker is a great, small shop that has worked on my Ford and Chevy trucks for many years. They can handle AC work as well as engine and transmission replacement and everything in between.
My service experience was great. I work on a lot of vehicles myself sometimes. I was having an issue getting a part off and when I called him he had the tool I needed and assisted me at a cheap reasonable price

When I need work done on my vehicle that is serious, I'm willing to drive to Waller to get my vehicle worked on here.
If I take my truck anywhere ELSE for diagnosis, I feel like I have to get second opinions because I never trust the first.
With ricker automotive, I trust the first diagnosis. Because of their integrity and honor when I drop my truck off I have zero worries because I can trust that they are on point fixing the right thing the right way. And not trying to sell me a bunch of extra stuff or blowing smoke trying to make money to get into fixing other systems that don't need fixing.
This is why I don't take my vehicle to Firestone, meineke, or Christian Brothers.... to get my AC fixed or anything else. And I will take my vehicle a little further to ricker automotive, where they take pride in their craft, they're passionate about cars and their job and people.
The peace of mind and knowing that you are not getting cheated, and you can trust they don't make needless recommendations......and that they have good attitudes, kind hearts, and trustworthy people means that you can leave your keys and have it settled heart and you don't have to question anything. I’ve been going here for 10+ years and these guys are knowledgeable, fair and always have the customer’s best interest in mind. They don’t over sell or over charge. They work on my truck, my wife’s Tahoe and my 2 boys’ trucks as well as my in laws vehicles. I drive from Katy to Waller because I trust Ricker Automotive.

Not sure about this establishment. Surely will not go back. I will say that the work done was good. That's not the issue. What is the issue is that when the owner found out we were using our insurance for the repair the estimate changed three times! I do understand that some adjustments have to be made but this was over the top! Next issue. When the insurance company sent him proof that the check was on its way, he still wouldn't release the vehicle. It is standard once a insurance company sends you verification that the claim has been paid and the check is in the mail you can release the vehicle. This guy refused to. I have insurance with a major company, not a fly by night organization so I not sure why he would not release it. I have my own opinion why he didn't but I not going to post those because I don't know absolutely so I will not voice them. Finally, he changed for repairs he didn't do! This was very crooked on his part. In conclusion, not a good experience.
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonable. What now can you ask for in a shop? You're lucky to get two of those things. I was in and out in 30 minutes and charged accordingly. He even helped out and diagnosed another couple guys while I was there without charging them. No minimum service charge. Highly recommended.
Ricker did a great job replacing a broken water pump on our SUV. He gave us an fair quote, and didn't over charge for labor. Ricker kept us updated while his team was working on the car, and he called us when they found some additional concerns we weren't aware of. He and his team even went the extra mile and totally cleaned up our grimy engine bay. They really impressed me with their honest service and friendly attitude. I would definitely recommend Ricker and his team.
Had some serious driveshaft work just done here. Rick went above and beyond to get my vehicle fixed quickly and professionally and answered any and all questions I had about any of it. Great place to bring anything.
