Did a great job replacing the catalytic converters on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 4x4. Price was fair and reasonable. They ordered the parts in advance, and had me in and out the same day, even though they were clearly working on a lot of other vehicles also. They spotted another small problem, unrelated to the catalytics, but didn't try to "upsell" me. Instead they sent me a photo, and suggested an alternate shop to address that issue. I definitely recommend them!
They are professional and personable, and John was excellent at keeping in contact with me over the whole duration of the repair. Would absolutely return!
i have used Your Neighborhood Automotive several times now for our 2001 Suburban and each time I would give them a 5 star review. During 2024 they fixed the A/C, replaced the transmission, replaced the dash, replaced several lock and window motors, and coordinated a complete repaint to name a few things. I would definitely recommend them.
Neighborhood Automotive is my first choice for my auto repairs. They know their stuff, offer clear explanations as to what the problem is and they guarantee their work. They are at the top of my list when I need repairs.

Jon & the techs are great! We take our F350 & 4 Runner to them for every repair needed. They diagnose it quickly and get to work as soon as you approve the estimates, with honest and fair prices.
The whole team was so helpful in getting a new battery in my Prius on a cold, wet day. The friendliest team, they even set my clock!

I took my older work truck in for some repairs. It ended up being injectors going bad. Definitely a job I wasn't gonna try to handle myself. They did a great job for me even with a very heavy work load with other customers. They are busy for a reason! My truck is running great now.

Neighborhood Auto Repair did an exceptional job of reviewing the condition of my truck when I dropped it off. They identified a few items that needed to be replaced for which I was unaware to help ensure my vehicle was safe to drive. I will continue to use their serves to maintain my truck. They also did a very thorough job of itemizing the repairs and charges so I knew in advance as to the costs. Additionally, they let me know that I should get an alignment even though they no longer provide this servce.
Neighborhood automotive is the absolute best place I have ever taken any of my cars and I am a 66 year old woman!

Window regulator, not an easy fix. They were able to track down the correct part and install correctly. Great local people and business. All types of repairs and well qualified personnel.

100% recommend John and his crew. Not only are they incredibly fairly priced, but they were thorough, honest, expeditious, and compassionate. I was visiting the area and had an emergent repair that came up and John and his crew took care of me right away and even got me up and running within two days to get me back to work in houston DURING THE FREEZE AND SNOW. Huge props to them. If you want someone you can trust with great service, please try them. I will be using them from now on even though I live in houston and only visit.

They got my car in swiftly, fixed my problem, and also Noticed a burnt out tail light and replaced it and tossed that in for free. Also aired up my tires while they wee at it. I have a 2011 Jeep Wrangler that needed a new engine and I reached out to 3 other Austin shops to get pricing for a remanufactured engine and labor for installation and was quoted much higher prices to double the price. I reached to Ed over at Your Neighborhood Automotive and he was able to find a great price for a remanufactured engine with 3 year/100K miles warranty and gave me a competitive price for labor much better than Austin shops and a good turn around time. Ed communicated well throughout the process and completed the job within the quoted time. So far so good and I have an assurance that this shop will have my back with any future problems.

Great mechanic. A little pricey, however I prefer using small businesses when I can. Brian was very knowledgeable off the bat with my car. Fixed it and was on its way rather quickly. One thing to note as seen in previous reviews I didn't receive my estimate until after my car was repaired. This is something that should be worked on. I 100% recommend this company.
I read The reviews and decided to have my work done with Brian with your neighborhood Auto. Diagnostic was $150, I reluctantly agreed to this.

Brian Did the tune-up first WITHOUT telling me how much my it was going to be which was $456‼️ $300(Labor) of was Just to replace my 8 plugs Only‼️ That came out at $37.50 Per Plug that was not difficult that would have taken less than 5-10 minutes to take out them out. 2 Rear plugs longer. If he would have told me the price then I would have taken my 2003 GMC truck somewhere else. I had a business for 27 years and I Always, Always gave my customers a Price "FIRST" BEFORE they authorized the job‼️ I told him I was going to give him my review. I needed warranty work done and he refused to Honor/ stand by his work/ guarantee. If Everything, was explained, To Me ahead of time, and that I had authorized ALL the work to be done, I would not be giving this review right now.
