Good people. VERY tight entrance. Stop on scale and check in. Tandems all the way front in and out. Very busy place with big machinery. Just be patient.

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING ON SITE. There are plenty of truck stops around this place (25 miles radius) The entrance is VERY TIGHT. You have to weigh in and out. Pull all the way to the left or right depending which way you coming in. EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION, TAKE YOUR TIME. THE EXIT IS THE SAME WAY ONE COMES IN, but you have to pull all the way to the right. Start turning to the left by the 5 miles sign on the concrete blocks wall on the left ( going out). Best of luck. Just stay cool while maneuvering. Great people from the scale to the loaders. Enough room to maneuver sleeper and 53' trlr. Once you are in. Be patient, they know their business. They all are professional, diligent and respectful. Listen instructions, follow directions. Safety first. Safe travels.

Called to get prices for #1 & #2 copper, after I got transferred to the dispatcher and asked him about current copper prices he told me ( I cannot give you a price until we see it) and hung up. Definitely not doing business with you all.

Wont let you buy parts and salvage. So pretty much anything you see is not avalbile to purchase. Scrap prices are much lower than others. Most staff dont speak english where I could understand.

Aside from the possibility of a flat tire (which is a chance at any dump or scrapyard) this place is the bomb for BUYING metal (I dont sell scrap, dont know about that side.) You drive in, and they have racks and racks of sorted tubing, flat stock, bar stock, plate, etc. You weigh it back there. Take your ticket to the front, and pay. I paid 25 cents a pound for good usable steel. Edit: still a good yard if you don't mind hunting, but it turns out I was pulling from the pile their fab shop uses. Whoops!

I've been here a few times to unload scrap after an estate cleanout. If you're just wanting to dump some scrap onto a pile, no problem. Just drive in, find a pile and start unloading. If you're actually wanting to sell the scrap and/or unload it into the correct pile, don't expect any help from employees. They all act like everyone who shows up has to have been there 1000 times before and knows the routine. There are no helpful signs, no information, no anything that tells you what to do or where to go. One time I drove up on the scales at 12:55 and there was a sign on the window saying closed 12-1 lunch. The guy in the office wasn't doing anything but staring out the window, but refused to weigh me in. Instead he tapped on the window and pointed at the sign, which was more work than it would have been to just push the button on the scale and print out the paper. By the way you can't hardly see into the office because of the reflective tinted glass, so more than once the guy in there has gotten frustrated because he was waving me off the scale but I couldn't see him clearly. There is no green light or anything on the scale to tell you to go ahead and no speaker. Drive to the back and ask anyone where to unload, assuming you can even find someone and get their attention, and you're likely to be met with a shrug. Also there's no where to park up front, especially if you have a trailer. I had to weigh out and go down the road and just leave my truck and trailer in the road to walk back and get paid. I'm sure they're used to mostly dealing with trucks bringing in huge loads and drivers who know the routine, so just don't expect to be met with any helpful assistance.

I had a small project that required some scrap copper to melt down, so I searched up scrap yards and found this place. The people there were very friendly and one led me directly to where they keep copper, I would have never found it if no one led me, and there wasn't any hesitation or delay, either. Long story short, this place is great, and the owner is very nice.

So so overall my biggest problem was an employee that had seemingly nothing to do with the scrap process. conveniently forgot to return my driver license back & the moon is closer to my daily commute. So returning will be off the map anytime soon.

Poor. Cheat you on copper prices... never ever go here. Brought #1 copper where everywhere else paid min of 1.50 and they only gave .45. Tried to dispute ur but they already disposed by time i got to the ticket window and they couldn't "find" what i just brought. DO NOT GO HERE
