Usually a top notch place, I've used them several times. Sunday is my day off so that's usually when I go. Today (June, 8th) I travel there to sell scrap and the gates are closed. I checked the website and it says open rain or shine, 365. So I call the place and over the phone the less than enthusiastic operator (?) just says"Yeah?". No name or business introduction, just yeah. So I asked are you guys open today I get another "Yeah" followed by long silence....ok, so I travel there a second time and it's still closed up. Idk what's going on and could care less why you're closed. But it'd be great to know over the phone instead of wasting my time and money
This is by far the best scrap yard I have ever been to. Open 365 days a year, rain or shine. Everyone is super nice and very helpful. If you need a little assistance sorting your load they have plenty of employees willing to lend a hand.

this place sucks !!! Forklift driver crunched my left fender told me the boss will take care of it no problem well needless to say they never did. They also are false advertising saying they pay the best prices in town and that's not true.The best prices I've found is gachmans and it takes forever to get cashed out this place doesn't even deserve one star
I have been or should I say was daily sometimes even bring in 2 to 3 loads a day for over five years. It took me longer then it should to catch on to all the ways they take advantage of inexperienced scrappers . Butch owns all 3 of the scrap yards on that corner so you would think they would all be ran the same but that's far from the case. American and industrial are both respectable well ran and square business. Global is inconsistent constantly changing and cheating. Example clean extrusion is just that every where else but global docks 10-15 cents a pound for painted yet when they take pull it off the scale they put painted in the same bin as the other extrusion. If they call your extrusion dirty which they will if it has a sticker a lol caulk stuff most will let go as clean you'll get docked .25 a pound then when you look at your ticket they will add lbs to the tare weight most never notice so they double dock you if it's dirty. They will call metal one thing then you come back a few hours later and call it something else always less. This place would be out of business if not for there hours and days of operation.
Worst place to load and unload. Tires get Punctured here with debris all over the floor like nails and Gate material. And they will not take any responsibility.

So far every time I've went here they've had the best prices and even if I was just like a minute or two late if I was just right there though and usually if you sit there and talk to him they're understanding and they try to work with you most of the staff up there helpful and they're definitely a lot friendlier than all the other places as I said prices are a lot better than all the ones that I've been going to so that's why I kind of go out of the way to go to this yard instead of the ones that are closer over here by Village Creek Motocross track and Alpine shooting range cuz they want to try to lowball
Had some issues with a wrong address on the check called up to get it changed. They handled it so professionally and even gave me a call back to say your check is ready with the correct address. Very much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone trying to scrap there.
They are always really nice and have the best prices plus there open 365 day a year putting in that work. I will definitely return as a loyal customer.
Ppl are nice and real helpful always a fun time when I go. Wait is expected due to the amount of ppl. Notice the only real delay are those who attempt to shorten the wait by placing themselves ahead of others. I always tip the worker because they do try hard to get you through. Its a shame that ppl are such cry babies when it comes to having to wait. Deal with it or get the hell out of the way.
Had a Horrible experience when i came here ! Customer service sucks, NEVER going back to this place. Man that was supposed to help me barely did and had a horrible attitude the whole time:/ giving it one star because thats the lowest i can give it.
This place is awful dont go here they are very rude people customer service just sucks. If I could leave a No star rating I would. I recommend going somewhere else please.
We arrived at 6:30 on the Sunday night before Christmas. We have not encountered any rude people up to this point. It's 6:45 and a girl came out and gave us a ticket and said someone would come see what were recycling. At 6:59 we're almost to gate and they still seem ok. It's now 8:32 and we are waiting to be paid. We did not deal with one rude person. All in all this was not a bad experience, even a little entertaining if you don't take life to seriously. A little time consuming
First time at the place was unaware that i needed to move . One the pullers rudely told me to move . Like i was empeeding on his time. All he could have said was maam please move your we removed your items. Also they are slow i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
The best thing I like about it is that it's open when nobody else is the service is a little slow expect to be delayed approximately 2 hours at any given time of any given day pricing is fair and parking sucks good luck happy scrapping
