What a stressful experience having the transmission fail on I-10 in the middle of the desert ahead of a steep grade with the sun about to set and 20 deg weather! After waiting two hours for my roadside assistance company to locate a qualified repair shop 120 miles away in Odessa, they finally dispatched American Towing & Road Services to rescue us. Thirty minutes later, Oscar (Owner/Operator) showed up with his tow vehicle and our luck dramatically changed. Oscar quickly had the car safely secured on his flatbed tow truck and then hooked up our travel trailer to his rear hitch. Because the sun had set, he spent 30 minutes hooking up temporary tail lights for our trailer by running his wires under the trailer frame and securing it all with zip ties. His knowledge, professionalism and friendly demeaner put us at ease as we began the three hour, 120 mile ride to the repair shop in Odessa. We had very warm and interesting discussions with Oscar on the way, learning about his Air Force background, his prior business ventures servicing the oil industry, his family and even some politics! It made the long, three hour ride enjoyable despite our unfortunate breakdown. When we arrived at the address provided for the transmission repair shop, it was 10:30 PM on an unpaved, dirt road with no lighting and there were no signs to indicate where the repair shop was located or where to park our car and trailer. While we waited in the truck, Oscar began knocking on doors and inquiring where the shop was located. With a flashlight, he noticed a truck with a Transmission Service sign on its door along with a phone number. Oscar called the number and woke up the shop owner who directed him on where to unload our vehicles. Oscar couldn't have been more helpful, kind and considerate, certainly going above and beyond any expected level of service. We camped in our trailer overnight and were on our way again by noon the next day! Thanks Oscar for your professionalism, concern and friendship which turned our roadside disaster into a story with a happy ending.

Excellent service. We ran out of gas in a very remote area, about 1.3 miles from the nearest station. Oscar arrived within 20 minutes with fuel and took care of the situation quickly and professionally. The cost was $75 for fuel delivery and 3 gallons of gas, which was clearly communicated. Could not have asked for better help in a stressful situation.
Our day in Big Bend NP was nearly lost as no tire companies nearby had the correct size for our vehicle. Oscar and his crew delivered and installed the correct tire for us in Alpine and got us back on the road. Great veteran owned business!
We appreciate Oscar and his teammate picking us up after getting a flat tire off of I-10 on our way to El Paso, a little past Iraan. We were a bit stressed trying to find help since we were running out of daylight, had limited cell service, and unfortunately Tesla’s services were unable to dispatch someone to help pick up the car. And then we tried calling a tire shop in Fort Stockton for help, which claimed they’d call us back with a towing company phone number but they ended up ghosting us.
Luckily my brother found Oscar’s company not too far from us, and we were grateful that he not only had a flatbed to tow the Tesla but also a tire shop. He checked online to make sure the tire he had to replace the flat would work for our model and within the hour he and his teammate picked us up and carefully drove us to their shop. We learned from Oscar that the flat was caused by the wear and tear to the back tire (since it was a used car). He showed us where the wires were and warned that same thing was about to happen to the left back tire since we still had many miles left on our long road trip, so he helped change out both back tires for safety. He also made sure we knew to change the front tires when we got back home. He was very kind, patient, and funny—loved talking with him about life, family, and travels! Thanks so much again for saving our butts, Oscar!! 🙏Support our Veterans (learned he served in the Air Force)!

They took me and my family in their NEW tow truck Back to a tire Shop that they also own and the driver was very polite. Even open the Doors for us. Yes sir, no sirve, yes ma'am, no ma'am. Extremely efficient, fast and knowledgeable. In the middle of a Brown tire desperation this guys showed up and made every dollar we paid 100% worth it. I would love to have more places like triste on ALL interestates to make People's towing and tire issues disparar. They also have hundreds of tires maybe thousands of tires in stock... Affordable 100%.

My vehicle was experiencing an engine failure and Oscar was able to tow my vehicle from Iraan, Texas to Midland, Texas to the nearest Chevrolet dealership which was 74 miles away! His prices are reasonable and I would recommend his service.
Our U-Haul car hauler had a blow out and Oscar contacted me shortly after receiving the call to come replace our tire. He was thorough and made sure he brought everything that the hauler might need to save us time. He arrived in less than 30 minutes and had us back on the road in less than 30 after arriving. Mind you he replaced two tires. Oscar, the business owner, answered the call to replace a blown tire on our UHaul. Upon arrival, he introduced himself, got situated, and engaged in friendly conversation as he got to work. He quickly discovered that the second tire had cracked and was rotted (it was 3 years old - on a UHaul), and called them for authorization to switch it out as well. While he was working, he humored us in showing us the equipment he used and things to look out for, since we were interested. By the time the job was done, we were back on the road, and with complete confidence in the safety of our tires. God bless him, his family, and his business!

Oscar came out to service our U-Haul that blew a tire. Luckily he brought an extra tire which we ended up needing because the second tire was cracked and probably would have blown before we would have reached our destination, about her 300 miles away. He was extremely friendly, we had a great conversation while he changed both tires on the spot. I highly recommend American Towing in Iraan. Amazing job thank you!
