Can't say enough positive things about our experience in this hotel. Very nice rooms, great service, good breakfast. Kids loved it, Kevin at the front desk was awesome.

Rooms need improvement on HVAC. Room was musty and warm at first. Took hours to cool down. Once cool, could not keep the fan running, regardless of setting on thermostat. Cool was clean. Cold tag did not seem to work. Only very warm water and very hot water.

I was in the Woodlands for a week for a surgical procedure. The night before surgery, I didn’t sleep at all even though the beds were super comfy! The day of surgery was even worse for sleeping because of the pain. My first room was unfortunately noisy with people just moving around above me and some sounds like dripping water. I knew that my recovery would rely on being able to sleep so I asked the front desk if they might move me. Without missing a beat, they suggested to move me to the sixth floor so that no one would be above me. They also picked a corner unit, which was completely quiet. I think that kindness pretty much saved my life because I was able to sleep! The new room was not only quiet but so comfortable! The air conditioner works amazingly well and having the extra sitting space made me feel less like I was in recovery and more like I was on vacation. Since I was there for a week, they even brought a microwave into my room. I can’t speak highly enough about the efforts that were made for my comfort. Thank you so much Hyatt Place for making my recovery smooth and comfortable.

Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The accommodations for the conference were great. And the rooms were wonderful! The beds, pillows and linens were amazing!

Great location and staff. Breakfast is poor and needs an overhaul. Rooms are nice and housekeeping is good. Drinks at the bar are good.

Poor water pressure, one of two elevators inoperable, parking charged when I didn't have a car and cold eggs for breakfast. Pretty much a lousy experience.

Watch out - they charge for parking without telling you! There's no reason to charge for parking in that part of the Woodlands and they don't tell you when you check in. It just shows up on the bill. Other than that, the hotel is great.

I stay with Hyatt during every trip in various cities but this one is the best one I’ve been too. The staff is fantastic. They leave you a written note along with a goodies bag when you check in. Room was clean. 10/10

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast and perfect location for my needs. Location was a bit hard to find-a sign on the main road would be very helpful.

Positive: The staff was terrific, the room was large and clean, the breakfasts were excellent, and the location was very convenient. Negative: ""

Everything looked good and would have been but apparently this place has been targeted by car thieves. Vandalizing the vehicles and no cameras to help the police. Please be careful

A false damage charge of $200 changed the whole experience for us. The general manager basically called me a liar when he said “it’s okay for you to say you didn’t smoke in the room.” When I don’t smoke at all, especially around a 7 year old child, and why would I get a non smoking room if I was going to break the rules and get charged a fine regardless? ||He showed a video of him “cleaning” the ash marks when none of the ashes stuck on to the napkin/cloth as it should have if it was freshly done from me. I told him I left that room at 10:20 to check out, he told me that housekeeping reported the “marks” before 11am. Those marks were already there and they’re using it to fine people who stay in that particular room. ||My kid remembers those marks and just stated it was a little dirty, but did not mention it to me. I have a video with luggage placed down already so I missed that area in my video feed. I had my hair straightener, phone/game chargers, and nothing to make little dark circles in the carpet because I don’t have time to sit on the floor and destroy people’s carpets for no reason. I don’t appreciate being falsely accused to damages that were not caused by me. We were respectful everywhere we went; from the elevator, to the pool patio, and the ballroom where our family reunion was held. We greeted all of housekeeping, and didn’t damage anything outside of our room from the breakfast bar to the lamps in the lobby. WHY WOULD I DECIDE TO BURN 4 CIRCULAR DOTS INTO THE CARPET?
Jul 29, 2025 -
My family members were overcharged for their room “property damage” due to stains in the carpet that were there before they arrived. Watch out!

Excellent stay at this quiet, clean hotel with responsive, warm, helpful staff. Rate was reasonable and I"d stay again!

The place is immaculate and that’s saying something about a place that is 19 years old. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. They even have great coffee.

The king bed with a sofa was great for spending time with some family. Nice and relaxing without having to sit just on the bed. Breakfast was one of the better ones I’ve had!

Unacceptable Handling of Personal Belongings – Not Expected from a Hyatt Brand I stayed at Hyatt Place The Woodlands from June 24 to July 1 for a business trip, and unfortunately, a serious issue occurred during my stay. One day, I returned to my room to find that all of my personal belongings—including items from the bathroom, food and drinks from the fridge, and even private items from the safe—had been hastily packed and stuffed into my luggage and left in the room. This was done without my consent, notification, or prior communication. When I addressed this at the reception, I received mixed responses: one receptionist was polite and seemed to understand the gravity of the situation, while another was passive-aggressive and dismissive. I was told this happened due to a system error, which mistakenly showed the room as unoccupied with no reservation—even though I was in the middle of a confirmed stay. The situation was made worse by the lack of accountability. When I requested at least that my work clothes be ironed—since they had been crumpled in the luggage—the same passive-aggressive staff member made me feel like I was being unreasonable. This level of service and disregard for guests’ privacy and belongings is simply unacceptable from a hotel under the Hyatt name. I would advise future guests—especially business travelers—to be cautious, and I sincerely hope the hotel reviews its internal processes and staff behavior.

Our room was prepaid by another party but we were asked for a credit card for incidentals which is perfectly fine. After checking out our card for incidentals was charged the cost of our stay. Mistakes happen, I called the day the charged cleared and the receptionist quickly identified the mistake and initiated a refund. I called again after a week and the receptionist again assured me that the refund would be fulfilled the next business day. Now it's been two and a half weeks since our stay and I still have not received the refund for several nights stay.

Beautiful hotel outside and inside the rooms. I might desire a stronger ac unit inside the rooms, but the beds were comfy and the room was very clean. The breakfast in the morning had a super nice spread, and the kitchen was putting out fresh food even up until the end of breakfast. I also somehow forgot to pack toothpaste and the front desk was so kind to give me some! I was prepared to pay $12 for toothpaste cause you know how those gift shops can go… they were also very accommodating with giving me extra blankets and pillows for my couch pull-out. Free WiFi, free parking, free breakfast, clean, comfy and safe… can’t ask for much more than that. 10/10, would stay here again when I come to visit my family in the woodlands!

The guy Kevin is so kind & Patient!, he reserved us a spot last minute and gave us the best room. There is a PARKING FEE for $15 though and taxes is a bit expensive. The TV isn’t modern it’s an old TV with changing channels. there is FREE BREAKFAST and it was delicious. The room is super clean , no smell. This is my first hotel I really enjoyed and inexpensive for the location.

Stayed here for a three day work conference. Very clean room with plenty of towels. Nice beds. The style of the room is probably soon due for an update. All the staff were very friendly and super helpful. I really appreciated Ed behind the main desk. When I was checking out, he very discretely noted my email for the receipt without giving away my name or company. Not many people have that tact or high level of service. Thank you Ed! Hotel also has a pool, restaurant, and bar. Very nice. Also a great location without walking distance to several restaurants and an Uber of about 5 minutes to the main part of the Woodlands with all the night life. I look forward to staying here again!

Night Auditor Edd really did a good job of checking me in a little past midnight for a booking I had made earlier in the day. The room itself was quiet, and had black out curtains. Beds were soft yet firm and is what could be expected from a Hyatt place. If you have stayed at the Hyatt house by the galleria the beds are very similar in feel. Overall a good experience.

My family and I stayed at Hyatt Place for a few months due to some personal family issues, and the experience was truly comforting. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. I want to give a special shoutout to Kevin he was amazing! Every time we walked in or out, he greeted us with a smile and kindness that really made a difference. His positive attitude and genuine care helped make a tough time easier for all of us. We’re so thankful for the hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here! The rooms are also super nice everything about this hotel is amazing

I wish the beds were more comfortable but overall the stay was nice. I probably wouldn’t stay here again because I have a bad back and need a better bed. It could have just been the room we were in but I wouldn’t risk it again myself. The location is great and secluded. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast could have some better options.

This is a nice 3-star hotel and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from staying here. Much nicer than a couple of the other price comparable 3-star hotels near by. I gave it 3-stars because of the room TV. It had to have been from cerca 2006. Also, they charge $15 for “self-parking”. That’s literally what the charge says.

Good clean rooms, parking fine, staff friendly enough, you know what you're going together etc with a brand like Hyatt. Water pressure excellent but breakfast is pretty bad. Small pot of eggs, some really dodgy looking and thin slice of ham, and sugary cereal.

They held an event in the first floor meeting rooms that included loud music and karaoke until 1am. We were there for a baseball tournament and it kept my kids awake. The bathroom shower had mildew and the art in the bathroom looked to never been wiped down. The comforter had stains on it. The only thing good about this hotel was the staff was very nice.

The breakfast was amazing! They had eggs, biscuits, sausage, spicy potato chunks, fresh oatmeal, etc. I wish they would have added gravy and waffles, but it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The location was fantastic! It’s less than a minute from I-45, but you can’t see the highway from the hotel. The neighborhood felt very safe too. The bed was also very comfortable. The only gripe I have is that the air conditioner was a little loud and kept waking me up. All in all though, it was a fantastic hotel and I would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in a community north of Houston, this hotel was my home-away-from-home while working in the area for 3+ months. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful, and the management team went the extra mile to make expense reporting easy. Breakfast was included in the daily rate, with a robust hot menu of eggs, meats and cheese, cut fruit and frozen fruit compote, yogurt with toppings galore, cereals (hot and cold), and breads every morning. Plenty of parking and wooded surroundings made it easy to decompress after work each evening. New go-to business trip favorite? Yes.

The rooms were nice and the staff was very pleasant. The hotel is located very close to a nearby mall that had plenty of restaurants and retail shopping to choose from. The above expectations goodness came from the continental breakfast that was fresh, fairly diverse, and suited several different diets. We recall the phone headset not working in our room, so we just used the speaker phone feature to call the front desk ... no big deal. The pool was smaller, but clean and nice. This is a nice and clean hotel with a friendly staff that made us feel welcome.
