We can’t say enough good things about Jerry at 336 Conroe Automotive. We were initially told by others that our vehicle might need a new transmission or catalytic converter—either of which could have cost thousands to repair. Thankfully, Jerry took a close look and discovered it was simply a plugged converter. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but instead, he showed incredible honesty and integrity. It’s rare to find a mechanic who truly puts the customer first. Jerry saved us a huge expense, and we’ll definitely be returning for any future automotive needs. Highly recommended!
The Conroe area is most fortunate to have Mr Jerry's 336 Conroe Automotive service. Jerry is a deeply experienced pro mechanic with high intelligence, the highest business ethics, a pleasant personality, all at a fair fee . No one can go wrong by letting Jerry solve their vehicle problems.
We're visiting from OKC and our 2010 Silverado (which tows our travel trailer) was throwing a few different scanner codes and generally running rough. Jerry understood our urgency to have it fixed before our time in town was up and reassured us that it should be a quick job. He was right! He diagnosed the issue and did the work on the same day, which was much faster than we'd anticipated. $550 total (including labor) for a new throttle body, coil pack, and spark plug.
Our truck is a problem child however and decided to act up some more before I left the lot, so we did need to leave it overnight again, but he got it solved just as quickly the next day—free of charge—and the thing now drives better than it has in a while. (It ended up needing a new fuel injector on that same cylinder.)
My takeaway: Jerry is a super knowledgable and congenial guy who will make sure you're taken care of. We felt like we were in good hands the whole way through
We take all our vehicles to Jerry. He always answers the phone and always willing to answer questions. His pricing is fair and he gets the work done in a timely manner. He can even do performance upgrades! Yes, we have the same first name :)
Jerry is super knowledgeable, professional, and fair. In half an hour he found and fixed an issue that Keating nissan couldn't find on 3 different trips. He charged me next to nothing and he'll be my first call going forward. Highly recommend.
HIGHLY recommend Jerry and his team. They were all very nice, quick and had very fair pricing. I just recommended him to my neighborhood too. Our battery died and had a tail light out. He was able to replace the battery and the bulb in less than an hour. We’ve definitely found our new mechanic!
Took my Fusion to the dealership for 100k mile check up. They came back saying my front 2 axels and right hub bearing needed to be replaced, $2200. Called Jerry, who quoted it all about half the cost. Brought the car in to Jerry and turns out I didn't need new axel, just the bearing. Out the door for less then a 1/4 of dealership quote, dropped it off 8am, ready in a couple of hours. Pretty sure I found my new mechanic.
Overall, the BEST, HONEST, mechanic that I have ever been to and keep going back!!! This guy Jerry likes to sleep at night while so many others in his field do not! He won't fix anything that isn't wrong with your ride!
Mr. Jerry is a very well seasoned mechanic, and he takes pride in his expertise. He's the only mechanic I trust. I used to live in Conroe, and he has always taken good care of my vehicle with true and honest fees. I live in Richmond TX now and I still drive there, and I don't go anywhere else for a mechanic.

Jerry and his team are a true diamond in the rough. Hard to find honest mechanics these days, but look no further than 336 Conroe Automotive. They were honest, friendly and extremely reasonable on prices.
A/C on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler was struggling so my dad took it to Jerry (336 Conroe Automotive). Upon arrival, Jerry walked out and greeted my dad and within 2 minutes Jerry had his mechanics troubleshooting the issue. Jerry did and evac and recharge on the spot and my dad said he was on his way in less then 20 minutes! The Jeep dealer wanted us to schedule an appointment, spend $175 to troubleshoot the issue and said if it needed to be recharged it would be $400! In and out with Jerry in 20 minutes at a cool (no pun intended) $100. He is honest, hard working and a really nice guy!
Jerry fixed my 2016 Jeep Renegades AC that was out for MONTHS. (Firestone messed it up initially) he did it for an amazing price and got it finished quickly. He was overall amazing to do business with!
He’s friendly, didn’t try to push anything. Had a simple job but no time and it was leaning toward urgent. Jerry had my Corolla taken care of. I’ve some more work I’ll need done and I hope he’s just as efficient. Hopefully I found my next go to shop here.
They were referred to me by a friend of mine. I drove all the way from old Magnolia. To check on a noise my car was making. Jerry was kind enough to squeeze me in knowing. I've come so far and could not leave my car. He didn't just drive it and Give me an ideas to what he thought it was. He put it up on the rack as well and checked quite a few things. He was definitely worth the drive.
Most reliable and trustworthy mechanic I've ever known. I have known Jerry for years. I found out about him from all the 5⭐ reviews on Nextdoor. He is very reasonable with his prices, and will not try to sell you anything you don't need. He's a very down to earth guy, and his helper, Tyler, is very knowledgeable as well. Quite the duo they have at this shop. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Go see Jerry and Tyler!
Five stars isn't enough, I give Jerry 12 and beyond! He has been my mechanic for 4yrs and I wouldn't take my vehicles to any other mechanic.

I recently found myself needing some work on my vehicle, and Jerry came highly recommended through a friend. I came to him needing a new thermostat for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler. I dropped it off at 7am and he was finished before noon. Through no fault of his, the part turned out to be defective. He got me right back in and replaced the faulty part with a new one and did not charge me anything extra AND was finished in less than two hours. Jerry is honest and reliable. That’s hard to find. I’ve already told everyone I know that he is the best and they should use him. You will not find a more honest guy, and I will definitely be back for all my mechanical needs. Thank you Jerry!!
