A one star is the lowest rating I can give. Took my truck in because the dealer could not get to it quickly. I told them it was running rough again, both other times code showed misfire on cylinder 7, dealer thought it was a fuel injector. They stated they can fail on and off as they go bad. Jesse Britts came back and said it was a bad ignition coil for cylinder 7. They changed that and all 16 plugs (why not just 2?). I picked up the truck , $1,350. A few days later the problem returned. Called them and they said sometimes you have to change parts till you find out what the problem is. I asked for the manager or owner, was told he was not in but would call me back, never heard from anyone. Took it to the dealer, they changed the fuel injector on cylinder 7 and it runs great.
I needed a transmission fluid exchange, and they had the most competitive price! Excellent customer service, and expectation management. It’s a longer service, and I appreciated how they communicated that to me beforehand. Very friendly!
I love this place! I trust them 100%!! They are so honest and kind and walk you through everything. Also they have a shuttle so if you drop off your car you have a ride home! They fixed an electrical issue in my car within the day. It was amazing! If you don’t know where to go in Waco, come to Jesse Britt’s!
Experienced a computer problem on my vehicle. The guys at Jesse Britt took excellent care, put it on a machine for analysis and quickly solved my problem. Made a believer out of me and I will not take my care elsewhere in the future.
I'm torn on this review because they got me in quickly when I was in a bad spot and needed my car back on the road ASAP, but the work performed was a quickie "good enough" fix and not what I had requested.
They got me in quickly and completed the work surprisingly fast (more on this later), and everyone was very courteous. The price was not even outrageous for the work I thought I was getting. The car is, for the moment, running and oil leak free.
About a week and a half after my visit I found four bolts sitting in the cowl. I was alarmed since missing bolts in an engine might spell disaster. After investigating further, I found out why there were "missing" bolts: they had not replaced the entire spool valve assembly as I had requested. Rather, the tech had disassembled the new part and replaced the gasket and top half. (Note the second picture where the half with the dipstick tube is darker, aged metal and the top half behind the dipstick is brighter and newer.) While this does address the immediate issue this fix also tends to start leaking sooner rather than later, hence the need to replace the complete unit.
Replacing the unit as a whole involves partially disassembling the valvetrain and is quite a bit more involved than swapping the top half. That's how I got the car back so fast, but frankly if I'm paying for something I want it done right, and not just mickey moused to get it out the door faster. I'd rather pay an extra hour or two of labor and not have to think about it again. Also they basically threw away a brand new 200 dollar part in the process, which is just wasteful to me.
It really pains me to post this because I thought I'd found a decent shop that I could trust with my cars. Guess I'll keep looking.
Everyone was very respectful and kind. Alignment done and anything else that my truck needed was printed on my receipt for us to get done at our convenience.
AMAZING customer service. Very knowledgeable men. They even have a shuttle to help customers get back home after dropping off their car. Sometimes mechanic shops are intimidating and rude but Chris in the front had a welcoming smile and I felt heard and cared about as a customer about my vehicle. Even though I waited to long for an oil change because of my schedule, he still was very respectful and nice about informing me and not embarrassing me. 10/10 across the board !
I got a standard oil change. The Reps at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. As I waited for my vehicle, I observed some true hospitality and heard some great, informative conversations and recommendations with every customer that came in. It was easy to see they believe in excellent customer service!!
I had an oil leak. They gave me a quote. The job ended up being way more labor than they anticipated but they honored the original quote anyway. I essentially got $175 worth of service..no charge. Highly recommend! They definitely earned my future oil change business as well as any future repairs on my car.

First time customer with Jesse Britt’s. Overall great experience and friendly. Came in for a wheel alignment. Was advised first come first serve so depending on what you need and how early you want to be in and out versus having to wait.
They had a special for $54.99 for the alignment, tire rotation and visual brake inspection. Much better deal than I had with Firestone.
Would recommend as my grandmother has also been using them for quite some time.

Took my car in on 9/24/25 to get looked at got charged $1,984. They told me someone test drove my car twice before picking up and after I paid and got ready to drive off my car stopped and wouldn’t move I wasn’t even 1 mile away from the building. I spoke with Chris and he kept talking over me! He told me I would have to wait til Monday to speak with the manager. They took my money and my car is not fixed!!!!!!
I’ve been here many times and have had SUPERIOR service at a very fair, even amazing, price. Today, just an oil change at the most readable place in town. Look at my other reviews here for Jesse, as there is one where they stood by their complete integrity and saved me well over $300. I’m a customer for life.
They will rip you off. Went here at a friend's recommending for an ac compressor. I ended up paying 1800 for the compressor and two lines they said we're leaking. When I got my car back it wasn't blowing cold. I took it back they told me it's because it was a big car and that the pressures were exactly where they needed to be. I took it back a third time saying it wasn't working. They then told me all the freon leaked out and that I would need to spend 2500 to get it to work. 1300 on parts 1200 on labor. I ended up buying all the parts myself for less than 400 and got the job done for 500 in labor. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Shout out to these guys for quick service! I dropped my car off for a number of things, and expected it to take a week or more to get everything done. These guys called me back a couple hours later with the answers I needed and a quote for the work. Told me it would be a couple days to get everything done, and then called back the same day to let me know that it was done.

Was pulling my trailer and lost brakes. Last minute before the holiday weekend, and they got me in to diagnose the issue. New brake booster, and master cylinder replaced without a hitch quickly.. They don't even deserve that one star took my truck for an oil leak last month. all I told was to fix where it was coming from, so they told me that it was leaking from the valve covers fixed that and told me no more leaks. Took home the next morning. Oil drops on the driver way, so I took it back, and then they told me that coming from the oil pan, then the main rear seal abut 1,800 dollars over all and they damaged my hood but they took care of that. I took it back yesterday. I know they are trying to say my engine is shoot in, never going back there again
Got my oil changed here. I brought my own oil and filter and they gave me a GREAT price to drain and fill my oil and replace my filter. They squeezed me in when they were booked solid because I was about to go on a road trip. Great service! Trustworthy! very friendly workers and a more than welcoming atmosphere.
