I have had two cars receive service at the same time over the last couple weeks. My focus I had to take to Ford because the part and service was under warranty. My expedition we took to Temple’s Transmission for a transmission replacement. The experiences could not be more different. I dropped off both my cars clean. My focus I received back from Ford after an week and immediately had to take it to the car wash because I couldn’t even see out of the windows it was so dirty. Mind you they have a car wash on sight! I picked my expedition up in exactly the condition I left it, save the new transmission. I dropped off my focus and they said a couple days, not giving any real timeline it. I dropped my expedition off and they gave us best and worst case scenarios, it could be four or five days, but if there was any trouble it could be up to two weeks. It took four days, I was thrilled. At ford you can’t see who does the work on your car, here you can look them in the eye. It’s reassuring knowing the people working on the second most expensive thing I own actually know what they’re doing. They’re not looking at a computer for instructions, they know the inside of the car and how and why it’s doing what it’s doing. They might at ford, but how would I know that? The garage is small, it isn’t fancy, but the people who work there know what they’re doing and they respect the people and vehicles they work with. Also, my expedition runs like a champ now! Oh and the work was less expensive and the transmission still carries the same warranty I would have gotten had we taken it to ford for the replacement.

Kevin and his team took on my f250 transmission rebuild when most places couldn't or wouldn't. They had my truck towed to their shop when my old transmission gave out - no questions asked even when it was well past closing time. They were always super responsive, and they took the time to explain things in detail. Very refreshing to be taken care of this well.

Spoke to Kevin about my transmission drain, flush and refill. He gave me a plethora of information. He recommended that I don’t bring it in for flush and refill. He recommended a few other things that I can do. I write this review because he was honest and straightforward. Most shops will try hard to get your business no matter what; unlike Kevin, he recommended some things that would benefit me as the consumer. Super knowledgeable, straightforward, courteous and honest. When I need transmission work I will definitely choose Temple’s Transmission I highly recommend.

Had some transmission issues. Ordered a replacement and found out about this place from a coworker. Talked to Kevin who was very knowledgeable about transmissions. Broke down the whole process and how he's going to help me replace my transmission. Price was quite reasonable and overall experience was good. Only took about 3 days to get my truck back and in good running order. Thanks to the fellas at Temple Transmission for coming in clutch.

I was quoted a price and that’s the price I paid my transmission got a full rebuild and it’s holding up nicely and I’m very impressed with it. Estimated time on completion of the job was 5 to 7 business days and delivered on that.

I was in a real pickle. I was hauling my son's items in a trailer from Austin, TX to Atlanta, GA when the transmission on my truck gave out in Waco. As I sat in the QT parking lot wondering what to do on a Saturday afternoon with no one open I searched Google for all 4 star transmission shops near me. That's how I discovered Temple's Transmission. I made arrangements to borrow a truck to finish my haul and left my truck at Temple's with a voicemail explaining what happened. Monday when I called to follow up I got to meet Kevin, the owner. His team immediately diagnosed the nature of the problem and gave me a great price to do the work within a couple of hours. Kevin explained he was unwilling to cut corners or do a partial fix. But his price to do it right was far better than I expected. His team did the work and went over and above to make sure everything was ready for the long drive home. I highly recommend Kevin and the team at Temple's Transmission. You won't find a more knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, and fair group around. I thank God for finding this crew to get me back to good.

It took my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado last fall for transmission rebuild. Did a good job and since this was a secondary vehicle for me I didn't drive it much. Start developing an issue and I took it back. He completely rebuilt the transmission and it runs great now. I would highly recommend Kevin and his staff to do any of my transmission work.

I had my F-150 transmission rebuilt by Temples. I called and talked with Kevin, he was very helpful and upfront about what to expect. I felt he was very fair with his estimates. I had my transmission "rebuilt" about a year ago and funny how my transmission is fudged right after warranty ends, I have used these guys before and same problems, he doesn't rebuild them just band-aids it and charges you full price

These guys are good they replaced transmission two days earlier than they said and it shifts and runs smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy will definitely recommend them to others

These guys are awesome. They got our truck in early and took about 4 days to fix the transmission. We just picked it up and it's running so much better and you can't even feel the shifts anymore. This will be the only shop we go to in the future. Highly suggest them to everyone!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I received a few estimate by the owner less than 10 minutes after arriving. They are also cheaper than anyone else in the Waco area!

I'm a mechanic for starts, I just dont mess with automatic transmissions as I know what it takes and how the job can go if it's not done right. That said, these dudes know what they're doin and if it still ain't right, they're gonna keep going till you're finally fixed up. Yes, sometimes that happens... but a 4% comeback rating for transmission repair means they're the best around! I would and will use them again for future needs.

These folks are honest, kind and respectful. If you need your transmission fixed or replaced this is the place to go.

I spent over $1500 on s transmission for a 1987 Mustang Gt didn’t even get to put a 100 miles on the car before breaking down 3 times and had to take it back at least six times and they never ever got it right or would refund or anything so I just sold the car Never ever go there
