I’m so glad I found Hogg Automotive. Yesterday I was stuck on the side of the road with a smoking tire, and my 3 kids and handicap mother in law. I frantically called the closest auto repair shop which happened to be Hogg. I explained our situation and immediately felt relieved and safe. He knew exactly what the issue was just by the details I gave him over the phone and he assured me I was safe to drive the short distance to his shop and that he would meet me there with the part I needed, which happened to be a wheel bearing. When I arrived at the shop I was warmly greeted by the owner’s wife who was so nice and helpful. It was the end of the business day so I started contacting rental car places assuming I would have to leave my vehicle at Hogg since they were closing in the next 10 min. Shortly after close, the owner showed up with my truck part and serviced my vehicle on the spot in 30 min without me even having to get my kids out of their car seats. That kind of service in today’s world is hard to come by. His work was honest and professional. Price was beyond amazing, but most importantly the generosity, empathy and kindness of the owners I will never forget. I’m glad my kids got to see and experience that day. I live over an hour away from the shop but I will continue to use them for my car repairs and will recommend them endlessly. We love Hogg Automotive!!

We were headed to Fort Worth from College Station. The vehicle started jerking and making noise we pulled over and smoke poured from the tire area. We called Hogg Automotive and the man helped us limp to his shop and he came fixed the wheel bearing within 30 minutes. Staying after hours to help us and get us back on the road. Very proud to have people like the Hoggs on my travels for the future. 100% recommend them if you need assistance. Thank you from my whole family.

My insurance company dispatched HOGG out to tow our car that had a flat tire. I sat for 2 hours on the side of a busy highway waiting. Called to see how far out they were and no answer. Called my insurance company to let them know, they tried to call them and did not get a hold of anyone. We had to call another towing service! Very poor service!!! If there were zero stars I would give y’all a zero!

Very good service fixed my car and towed me from the side of the highway all for a excellent price. The work speaks for its self my car is a whole lot quieter

Hogg Automotive could not have been easier to work with after the battery died in my college aged daughter's car. Roadside assistance connected with with Kevin at Hogg and he was so helpful and easy to work with. Trying to workout all the details while being 3 hours away was stressful, but Hogg took great care of her car and got it to the dealership. They really are the best and I will definitely call again if have car trouble in the Waco area!

Honest, considerate, professional auto mechanic. Stopped in with a noisy drive train. They assessed my vehicle for safety on the spot! Didn't recommend unnecessary repairs. Sent me on my way with confidence. Even retrieved and mailed my lost wallet to Houston after it fell from my pocket during roadside inspection. All around great experience.

5 stars is all I’m allowed to give, but honestly there aren’t enough I can give. My daughter was headed back to College Station today from Midland and called her dad crying that she had a flat tire outside of Riesel. Of course we are panicked as this was her first trip home and back from college. My husband googled tire and automotive businesses and Hogg Automotive came up, he called and Kevin Hogg answered. He said he would be there in no time to help our daughter. Sure enough not even 10 minutes later he was there and changed her tire(she had a huge cut in it). Thank you so much for responding so quickly and settling our panicked parents heart. Would recommend this business to anyone and everyone and will also be posting on Aggie Parent Facebook page.

I wanted to give them a good review because the driver was really nice but I can't. Long story short, what was supposed to be a 1 hour and 7 minutes wait for a tow turned out to be a 3 hour and 39 minute wait with no status updates at all even though they had the information to do so.

I was on the way to College Station from Dallas, I got a nail in my tire on the way and happened to end up at this shop thanks to one of the local police officers assistance. The gentlemen who assisted me was so generous and was able to plug the nail hole in such a short amount of time to get me back on the road!! I highly recommend using this shop!! 10/10 experience! Thank you again!

My car broke down in a CVS parking lot. I expected to have my car towed to the dealership but the tow truck driver was smart enough to try charging the battery; it worked. Thank you so much for the expert service.

Such a gentleman! Very professional! My son went outside to walk up the street in this heat and asked him if he could catch ride on the way. He did just that! I appreciate him so much! Most definitely will use Hogg again! I recommend them!! 💯

I had a flat tire just outside of Riesel. Hogg Auto showed up in less than 20 minutes and had my tire changed in 10 minutes. Great service!

They were kind of understanding in a bad situation . nothing that was their fault. They did their best to work with me. Very polite people. did what they could to help me out.

I used Hogg Automotive to have my truck towed from a grocery store to my house. Shawn or Sean not quite sure how his name is spelled was absolutely the nicest person. He went above and beyond! I personally would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you!

Beware, your vehicle won't run right or very long after these guys "repair" it. Mom took her old Taurus here several years ago because it had several dash lights on and slow cranking . These guys put an alternator and starter on it and the problem persisted. Later I jad time to go look at the car. It needed a battery...it was 6 years old. They broke the clip on the alternator. Recently, she took my sister's car there against me telling her not to. The car had an oil leak and chronic coolant loss. Diagnosis it and fix it...simple. "Holds coolant pressure " ....repaired. Car blew the motor 13 miles later.

Would not suggest them at all. Terrible service and customer service. It started when they said it would be a 90-120 minute wait, which is rather extreme considering we were half an hour away and in a town, not in the middle of nowhere. After 142 minutes, they text me and say they are having issues with their truck and ask if we can make it for tomorrow instead. While this is happening, State Farm is trying to get in contact with somebody there and nobody is picking up. Eventually their driver pops back up and says they will be there in 11 minutes, then wasn't there after 20 minutes. That's when we finally canceled them and got a new truck out there(Gritten Wrecker Services, who I would now suggest). This new truck commented on how Hogg had apparently canceled on multiple people today already and consistently had estimated times of arrival of 2 hours. That's only the begging of my issues with Hogg Their customer service is terrible too. That service rep who texted me was incredibly rude. It started with them calling me ma'am despite me being a man with a male sounding name. After I corrected them, they proceeded to be extremely passive aggressive by responding "No problem SIR." This immediately ticked me off, and while I'm not proud of my next actions, I felt like the rep just escalated the situation which led to us sharing some nasty remarks at one another. Overall I would not recommend at all.

5 stars isn't enough !!!! this company is absolutely amazing !!! highly recommend !!! We were on a trip to Waco and hit some debri in the road and got stranded the amazing officer Bellringer recommend we use them , they were there in 20 mins or less (mind you this was late in the evening ) and the TowTruck drive Mr. Greg was outstanding !!!!! they went above an beyond the call of duty and helped us !!! Great company can't say that enough !!!!! Thank yall !!!!!

I was stranded with a flat yesterday between Reisel and Marlin and unable to get help from AARP or VISA roadside assistance. They told me I was on my own. Called my son and he found Hogg and I called but he said they were closed. I was in tears and he said he would help me find a place. I continued to try on my own as well and then Kevin calls back and says he has a drive 5 minutes away even though they were CLOSED!!! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate them going above and beyond to help me as I was stranded for 2.5 hours but they saved me! THANK YOU SO MUCH! In my 50 years of driving I have never had a flat and I am so grateful for you and your driver for going above and beyond! I would give you 10 stars ⭐️ if it let me!!!

We needed a simple inspection on a new trailer, which they did a great job with. When a VIN was off on the paperwork, they fixed it quickly and sent us a copy so we can get it resolved with the registration properly. Greatly appreciate the quick response and the customer service. Some places would have been much more difficult to work with on this and their prompt assistance was much appreciated.

Took truck in with overheating and brake issues. 800 dollars later, truck overheats worse than ever and brakes partially seized. Gotta be one of the town's good ol boys to get decent service I suppose.

Both of our cars broke down within a week of each other and USAA used Hogg Towing for both vehicles. Justin and Hunter were very helpful and showed great skill and professionalism. I would highly recommend their tow service to anyone!

Called USAA needing roadside assistance and got a text at 11:26am, stating that Hogg Automotive was being dispatched to my location. It's 1:40pm now and still no tow truck. I called multiple times and they assured me they were 30min out (52min later) when they didn't show I called and they said the driver got stuck or lost. I've had 3 police officers stop saying my vehicle needs to be towed otherwise they're gonna tow it to their yard. I finally called the number to the driver that they texted me and the number was disconnected. Horrible service.

Woke up this morning, started my truck and figured out very quickly that my transmission had gone out completely. Called Allstate roadside assistance, very quick and easy process and Hogg Automotive was selected for towing. Very very pleased with their service, unfortunately I can’t recall the drivers name but he was super fast and earlier then his ETA. Friendly, reassuring, super quick service 10 stars from me! Would use again and again!

Little over a year ago I trailered a car in that wouldn't start due to an anti theft alarm( that I didn't even know I HAD). Mr Hogg removed the system and wired me back up in about 30 minutes and a PHENOMENAL price.Will be bringing all my vehicles here for repair in the future.

Literally saved us yesterday after our truck broke down while pulling our camper. He managed to tow them both at the same time for us. He arrived quickly. He was kind to every member of my family (twin 9 year olds). And he was very fair with price. I am very grateful to the owner of this company (he is the one that picked us up). I would use this company again and again (but hope I don’t have to).
