Got there at 12:04 was told they close for lunch till 12:45. People were helpful, but I can see where the Office has a problem 😕. Don't care for the debit card, not my job to work in their finance department. Had trouble with card first time I tried it, will try tomorrow to put all in my account.
Here's the kicker. While I was waiting for my money, talked to a couple guys waiting on the parking lot. They had a new Big Tex 20 ft pipe trailer, the really nice one. The driver side fender was crushed down to the tire. Their Employee, again Their Employee had dropped a tractor he was unloading on the new fender.
The office explained they were not responsible for accidents on their property , this was not an accident this was the direct result of a poorly trained employee. They offered $200 to replace a new fender on a $4,000 dollar trailer . I still can't believe it.
My question is, if a customer backed into the White Mercedes with his new 20 ft pipe trailer, would they say No problem, we're not responsible for accidents on our property, or would they expect the driver to give them $200 to repair the front end of the Mercedes 🤔
I'm going to go with I don't think so.

We went here today to sell some scrap.
There were no lines and two gentlemen that helped us were really nice and courteous and explained the whole process.
If you were scrapping metals around your house and don't want to just leave them in the yard, this is the perfect place to take them..
The checkout process was extremely easy and they issued the money right to my debit card.

We arrived at quality at roughly 8:20-8:30am to sell a couple of motors and several transmissions and have been waiting for over 30 minutes to just sell the motors and we’ve been told several times that the guy is in the bathroom and it’s like well why can’t someone else do his job for him seeings how this place just opened and this employee is already taking a 45 minute bathroom break!several employees saw us standing here waiting and not one person offered to help.is it really worth the drive from Austin to deal with a bunch of rude people??!!I think not.and to top this off there’s always an issue with using the debit card.
They pay decent, but the place is a cluttered, cramped mess. No idea where you are supposed to go, and idiots going in every direction with trailers. No order whatsoever
Quality doesn't issue checks, the payout is on a paysign card. The card does not work with all bank accounts. There are limits on the amount of money you can move and it will cost you $ every time you move the money to your account. Quality will tell you that it's free to move the money to your account but they are mistaken. Paysign will charge you to move the money where you need it. Employee told me that they stopped using checks bc someone in their business was forging their checks...
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Went by today to purchase a water truck and possibly four semi tractors. One employee was very rude and made me wait for 30 minutes. Harrison (sales) was very nice but could not provide pricing. Owner, Billy Hoover, was 30 feet away and did not care. When asked by Harrison for pricing, Billy simply said that he didn't want to give any at and waived his hand as to shoo me away. I was a cash buyer and will NEVER be back. I buy a lot of equipment and own many businesses.
As a small business owner my self, I am always amazed at Mr Hoover starting this business from it's humble beginnings and growing it to what it is today.
Bunch of rude employees. They act like they don't want your business. No curtisy what so ever. I will not return and would never recommend anyone to go here.
Beware of Quality Auto Parts on I-35.
The scales are not zeroed out before putting materials on them. April 10th 2020. Upon arriving to the scale with full 3 plastic buckets packed full of wire and 2 cardboard boxes. The attendant made sure to let us know that they weigh 2 pounds each and deducted 9 lb off the total weight. (No weight taken of them) After the wire was taken off the scale. The scale said -55 lb. (I didn't think to take a picture yet) There wasn't anybody to talk to so we figured we would just email them and let them know about the discrepancy. Since the office is closed during this time and phone numbers were proving useless. Upon emailing back and forth and showing photo proof of the scale with -54 lb showing. I was accused of being a liar and never taking the picture that I clearly have with the timestamp from that day. Apparently, I am not shown on the video tape taking a picture. The sun was bright so I had a glare on the bigger picture photo. After we got the check and saw that it showed we brought in 40 lbs. (No way that was accurate) I went and took a picture of the scale reading -54 lbs...
Later on that same day they admitted fault... tried to reweigh some of the wire and low and behold, yes it was heavier.
I don't like dishonest companies or being accused of being a liar.
Everyone in the other depts are very rude and seen kinda slow and very country and hillbilliesh on the phone and not willing to help you with the parts you are looking just tells you to keep calling instead of trying to help you. CALLED the number for engines over 8 times and not one time did anybody pick up they must dont want to make a sale or make sure the customer is taken care of. I WILL NOT EVER CALL AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ANYONE .
was quoted a price on a transmission for $200 got there the guy told me 45 and I'm like no I showed him the text messages from the owner of the what he told me and so he went ahead and gave it to me for $200 even though it was missing one part but he seen the picture he should have told me that before you told me 200 but they kept their word and they fix the problem and quality cores great place to take your stuff
I took a bunch of metal and steel here to donate the money to my youth group. It took me 30 minutes to dump an engine then another 45 minutes to attempt to dump the aluminum (there was only one car in front of me), but right as I pulled up to the aluminum area they went on lunch break. Would recommend. Just go to Lipshits
Allthough price per pound for scrap metal copper Etc is not as good as lipsitz in Waco, Quality Parts, aka Quality Core, makes up for this by being much easier to get in and out of, and much friendlier staff 😊😊
