Very nice and helpful people here.. Each time every month that we go we are in an out.. There prices for scrap are very good this is why we drive the hour to get there every month
The people here always very friendly and very prompt. I feel the prices they give for scrap are very competitive. I never feel ripped off or ignored and I will definitely go here again and I recommend you do too if you have a bunch of scrap metal just laying around the house!
Great prices i don't know where this guy who's saying his card gets declined but, we have had NO ISSUES @ ALL with the card but I believe they have great prices in the area of putting things on the scale for rack in opinions, starters , Alternators, compressors etc . We will continue to go there
Said they're open 8-4 go up there at 2:30 not a person in sight. Wasted my time. Sat there for 40 minutes I'm never going here ever again. If there's a problem people need to know. Y'all have a website or maybe even just a sign on the gate. It's just so utterly ridiculous that it pisses me off.
Their listed hours do not state that they are closed for lunch between the hours of 12pm to 1pm. I called to verify the hours and was told the closed at 4pm. I drove over 30 minutes to get there and was directed to go around back with 7 motors only to have them refuse to unload because they were going on lunch break. Had I have known this before making the drive I wouldn't have come when I did. There's also no mention of being paid by a debit card rather than a check or money order. I'm glad I read other reviews to find that out. All in all it was a waste of time and gas. I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone else.
I’ve been to many recycle places but this one was the absolute longest wait (1 hour) from weighing to getting the debit card. I understand they run multiple businesses out of this location but an hour long process, especially when you’re leaving a job site in Austin and just want to get home in Fort Worth, is quite frustrating. Friendly staff, I can give them that.
DO NOT SCRAP HERE!!! They don't pay you. They no longer issue a check but give you a debit card now. The card doesn't work. It gets declined even when loaded with money. Then the card charges you 50 cents each time it is declined at the store. Absolute rip off! I gave them back the worthless card and told them to go buy a cup of coffee with it if they could ever get it to work because it is completely worthless to me. I will never be back. Go down the street where you actually get money for your your recyclables instead of ripped off.
Being female I was apprehensive to go here myself fearing I might get taken advantage of but it was quite the opposite, the guy unloading my scrap set several things aside and told me to take it to other section as it was worth a lot more. I will continue to go here.
I've been doing biz with Quality Recyclers for many a moons. They are square deal Texas Business and they show you on paper the breakdown in prices if you have a lot of different metals. They also don't mind showing you how you can get better prices for your scrap by pointing out what deficiencies there are to your scrap as far as "cleaning" the contamination metals and plastics. While having to get a check rather than cash may seem like a setback, their checks are promptly cashed just down the road. The better prices you'll get for your scrap pound for pound is at Quality, and that's what really keeps me coming back. We spend hard work and time scrapping, so we also expect fair dealing in weight and prices. Here you find all that, plus a little. The Mighty JP.
