We've had our vehicles worked on here several times. We work over the road, escorting oversized loads and need our vehicles to be reliable. They do awesome work and have fair prices. Our favorite shop!
Took advantage of my elderly mother.
She kept getting the run around every time they missed a deadline to get the car finished.
She finally picked it up, $350 bill later, we can't tell that any work has been done as the car drives just as it did when she took it in.
I took my mom's 2096 Dodge caravan to have them diagnose & repair her vehicle. 3 weeks later we have to go pick up the van because he STILL HASNT FIXED OR DIAGNOSED ANYTHING. Giving us excuses like he only had 2 mechanics. And then charged her $375 for, once again, doing NOTHING. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU DONT WANT YOU VEHICLE FIXED! THEY ARE GROSSLY INCOMPETENT. And as I was leaving, the mechanic comes out of the back to SCREAM at me. So very sad that they would do this to an elderly woman with health issues.
I'm not sure of the gentleman's name who helped us on a Saturday get air in our tire because the gas station air pump didn't work but he is greatly appreciated! He definitely didn't have to help us as they are closed on Saturdays! Thanks!!!
Do not recommend they did not secure my car when they took it apart I almost had a wreck on the highway with my skid plate flying off when I called zarate he acted like he didn’t have no worry in the world although I paid almost $700 for a loose fuse on my headlight they didn’t secure my car my bumper was hanging and wires were also hanging go elsewhere warning!
Just passing through Slaton and they let me come by after they were closed after hearing a strange sound from my car. Just a minor fix and got me back on the road and didn't even charge me! Super kind, friendly, and excellent service. Thank you so much and would definitely recommend Zarate's to anyone!
I call Zarate about a tire sensor issue. They did not have the tools required to fix it, but they gracefully directed me to the business that could help me out.
I had a potentially devastating problem, on the road. When I called to ask for help, I was directed in, and immediately taken care of. Although I was just passing through, they treated me like a life-long customer.
