This is a shop you only wont to go if you have a flat, I spent over 900.00 to fix my ac unit just to go under 120 miles for it to go out again after calling they said they would change out the parts but Iwould have to pay for labor again which was over 350.00 dollars please listn to the ones that say they will rip you off, I now have to pay another shop to fix the work they did and was guaranted that they will stand behind work and labor as should be. This shop in Jewett Tx, is the lowest place you could have your work done, , no star from me and I will never go there even if I have to get a tow back to Dallas
Just needed inspection on motorhome this time. Need an occasional mechanic so will try them out. Last one I used in Buffalo (o.h. tire) very disappointing...(more like oh no mechanic).
I’ll NEVER, EVER take my vehicle to them again! They’re out and out CROOKS. I went in for an oil change in my Cadillac. The lower part of my front bumper was dragging. I never asked them to fix it. One guy just said “I’ll fix that for ya while I’m changing the oil.” I was prepared to pay them for that. A regular oil change was $67. I was charged $118. Said they put in 1/2 hour of work. The oil change took 20 minutes and the time is in the advertised price. They put 2 zip ties on the bumper and it didn’t take them but 10 minutes (max time) to do it. That’s a fact because I was watching them!!! On the bill it said $40 for the labor and 2 zip ties. That means the oil change was in the $80 range which is absurd.
I’ll be more than happy to pay my 16 yo grandson to do my oil changes and everything else that needs doing. He treats everyone fairly and he has happy customers … I’m not his only customer. He has quite a list of happy customers besides myself. Even though he’s 16, he’s a gifted mechanic.
Unless you have bunches of $$$ to waste, I’d keep driving if I were you.
Decided to try this place for an inspection on my truck. First day i went out there it was 5pm (online it says they are open u til 6) after pulling in i saw their businesses hrs stated 8-4:30. I showed up the next day at 4:15pm... they were open but the guy that was there said " we already shut down the computer, try tomorrow" i told him i work & the i rushed to get there before they closed but didnt help at all. I will go elsewhere in the future as its clear they dont care to do business. Question... how long does it take to "shut down the computer"? I mean they apparently shut down way before scheduled time to get off on time i assume. Seems just like laziness.
Super helpful when I got a flat tire on 45. It was worth the drive as they got to work immediately trying to get me back on the road for my meeting in Houston. Thank you all so much! Shawn did a amazing job!
Driving home I picked up a screw and we were leaking air pretty badly. I pulled in to this shop and they were really awesome. The timing was right and they got my rig handled like a Indy pit crew in no time.
Gotta say, their prices were more than fair and they really did right by me. I can tell you loudly enough that if you need a reliable shop that'll get the job done at a good price these are your guys and should be your regular mechanic. I wish they were closer.
Back yard mechanic's at first class mechanic's prices. Quote you a price for a job and do only half yet you pay full price. If your looking to get ripped of, this is the right place.
They need to change sign from "The Mechanic Shop" to half _ssed shop!
