Derek and his crew are top notch, had a friend break down in his semi by lometa and told him to call SAS because of their reputation of being good. Not only did they help my friend im his time of need they went above and beyond to make sure he was safe while waiting on te big wrecker by having a smaller truck get behind him with their emergency lights on, they took him to a hotel for the night and then towed him all the way to east Texas the next morning so that it was safer for him and the wrecker driver, cant praise them enough. If your ever around lometa and have a break down they are your first and only call you will need for help!!
Derek and his team are great folks! I was overwidth and overweight and broke down just north of town and he came and set behind me to alert traffic till the 50 ton wrecker showed up to haul me off. They got my rig to their yard for the night and took me to the hotel. Very knowledgeable & professional team, highly recommend if you're in a bind!
I absolutely buried my truck out in the training areas on Fort Hood. I couldn’t even open my doors lmao. Two of my buddies came out to help and they both got stuck too. Derek showed up fast and had all three of us pulled out in no time. That guy works miracles! He was super professional, calm, and CLEARLY knew exactly what he was doing. I cannot recommend a better towing service than sas towing with Derek. He was able to help tow our car after hitting wild hogs and got us safely to our hotel. My wheelbearing went out on my truck while going down the highway. When I called I was noticeably distraught by my situation. They were professional, empathetic, and VERY fast. The dispatcher was able to get his driver to me. The driver was excellent getting my truck loaded and unloaded. My car was taken by the lampasas river on May 5th and when I found it bout 2 weeks later, they were a big help on getting it out from a ledge that leads into a ditch. It went past a barbed fence & everything.They are amazing!
Drive shaft dropped out of my Toyota sequoia late Friday night on a road trip. Daryl picked me and my 6yo daughter up, suggested a mechanic, and even gave us a ride to a hotel after dropping off the car.

Our son was in a horrible accident near Lomita, Texas. Our son was unconscious and taken to a hospital in Temple with a severe concussion. The Tow Truck Operator went beyond his obligation in towing to secure and safeguard our son's personal effects. When my son was released from the hospital the operator met us at his wrecking yard to retrieve our son's personal effects. When his mother saw the wrecked jeep, she lost it, Derrick helped me to provide comfort and reassurance to her. I am grateful to Derrick for his support at a difficult time.
