After dealing with a&a in cleburne and being less than pleased decided I would give this place a try and was a much better experience and this is definitely where I will go from now on
This is my favorite scrap yard of all places, the lady who pays is such a sweetheart. And they give you WAY better prices than any other place in the whole Ft Worth and Johnson county area. If they are closed then I just wait till they open again vs going somewhere else because what they pay is worth the wait. Definitely go here if you have scrap or wire! I’m telling you BEST PLACE AROUND 🙂
If you have scrap take it to Dustin at spitfire!!! Smaller scrap yard but professional, organized, and more than fair pricing. I had an awesome first experience. I'll be going back!
Crane operator did a perfect job. However they screwed me. Yesterday they told me $1.30/lb for cast iron $.40/lb for cast aluminium. Today they decided to pay $.0725/lb for 7 engines after theyre unloaded. Not worth the diesel to even go
An employee damaged our trailer with the claw and so far the owner hasn't replied to our complaint! I would not recommend this place with such poor business ethics!!!!
They were rude and didn’t bother to explain how their metals were sold. I had loaded panels on my trailer before I paid and when I was told the price I asked if they could take it back since I didn’t have the amount they were asking, however they shrugged me off and ignored me and still demanded for payment.
I took a large load of scrap to this place along with many others and they are always bothered with having to unload it the guy running the trackhoe cries because he cannot grab it in one load. He was mad cause he can’t run equipment and then bent my trailer out of frustration. Will not be going back and would not recommend them at all the owners know of the problem and will not address it
Now that christian is running the scales i dont have to check my ticket i feel like kelly was always trying to rip me off brad the owner is cool charles always helps me out on unloading
I really liked the place. Everyone was very nice and had great Customer service skills. They did more than I expected to help me. I will always take my scrap metals to this place.
My truck broke down about 200 yards from their gate, immediately they sent out a bobcat to drag me in. Then they had the equipment operator help me unload the scrap I had on my truck. My oil pump failed and they let me leave my truck and all my tools there overnight in a secure area . When All was said and done they paid in cash and paid a fair price. I recommend them to anyone.
Close to early, showed up with ten minutes till and they told me there going home I’ll have to come back.
Change you times. If you open then serve your customers, if your gonna shut down early then put that on your time frame.
First time doing business here. Guys had a really great attitude, incredibly helpful, even helped me unload my truck. Paid much more than I expected and helped me clean out the back yard. Thanks again, will definitely return.
I would not even give this place 1 star but it wouldn't let me rate them at no stars. They are theives!!!!! I hauled in 575 lbs of aluminum and they scaled it at 400 lbs. I have checked my scales several times and they are accurate at every weight. They just lost my buisness.
The guy are like family to me. They give great pricing because they're not trying to screw the American people over and they stay up with the market. If they made a mistake they'll correct it, if you just talk with them.
