Vic’s Auto Rebuilders is a family-owned and operated auto body repair business established in 1967 by Victor Carrillo Sr. starting out small, but with hard work we were able to grow right alongside the Rio Grande Valley. In August 2006, we completed construction of our new 35,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, which includes a five-acre storage facility, 26 body work bays, 16 refinishing bays, 4 truck and R.V. bays, and four detail bays.

My car got rear ended and I took it to Vic’s to fix the the back of my car and I had told them the accident had caused water leakage and I had told them what area it was in and they said they could fix it. Well when I got the car back it looked great until I took it through the car wash and I saw it was still leaking so I took it back and they said they could fix it and I got the car back thinking it should be fixed now. Wrong. It is currently raining and now instead of one spot the whole back is leaking and full of water and it’s dripping all over my backseats and when I drive I can hear air from outside. Now the leaking is even worse and my whole roof headliner is soaking wet. Hopefully it doesn’t cause water damage to the car. I will be taking it back and talking to whoever is in charge cuz that is totally unacceptable that after 2 times of “fixing it” that instead of getting better and not leaking at all it made the problem worse.
Highly recommend their service..took my car in they estimated a full month for the work to be completed and were done within 22 days..Johnny answered my questions and Ida was well informed on my vehicle as well..I even received texts messages on updates on my car..
If you ever consider taking your vehicle here consider just doing it through insurance… I had some minor body work done here, and paid cash upfront just to get my truck back as if it was done by a person just learning how to do it. Since the insurance company didn’t need to look at the work after it was done poorly. In the video look at the smooth surface and you’ll be able to spot the areas where the work was done.
My car was damaged on the front passenger side, which required a good deal of repair. Vics worked with my insurance and made the process go as smooth as possible and really simplified an already difficult situation. They handled the towing, were always available for questions, and even helped with questions after the repair was completed. If you're looking for a professional certified Lexus repair shop, I would highly recommend Vics. Thank you.
I recently visited Vics to get some touch-up paint applied to my vehicle before having protective covering installed. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the owner, who was incredibly courteous and helpful. He quickly arranged for one of his workers to take my car to the back, and they wasted no time getting the job done. The touch-up work was flawless, and the service was top-notch. I truly appreciated the professionalism and efficiency of the entire staff. Highly recommend Vics for any services!
I had my toyota tundra in there because a Turkey flew into my front drives side fender.
Dented it pretty good. Also had a dent above window on frame. We'll it certainly.looked good for a while, but now the condo they put in the fender I stead of replacing the fender like they said is cracked and looks terrible. Can't believe four years later there work us crap. I wouldn't take anything there anymore.
These people have been holding my car hostage over a month and it took them over 3 months to repair my car!!! They said when insurance gave confirmation they mailed out check that they would release my car, now they want to receive and wait for check to clear. Not professional and they don’t care about clients being without a vehicle.
Beware take your car somewhere else

Very disappointed with this establishment due to several reasons. My vehicle was not returned in the same manner (accessories) as when I received it. Knobs were broken, WeatherTech floor mats were missing, and alarm was damaged with removal of windshield. Time frame was also way off from their projected estimation and kept getting the run around when I would inquire. And the manager Johnny chuckled in my face when I asked for floor mats to be returned. Very poor manners and not willing to take responsibility for their negligence. Poor service overall. They get one star because I have to in order to post a review, but in my opinion, they deserve none.
Took my 06 altima and it was repaired well. Wanted an estimate for my 20 kia rio, they said I had to bring it in in the morning. I work at night so no I won't do that. NRJ.
We had an accident last March where we went to fix our car at Vic's /auto rebuilders. They told me that there labor rate increased and I have to pay the differential till the insurance pay it back they told me they will try to fight if they donot succeed. All I need to call the insurance company and they will pay the differential then they asked me to sign disclaimer about it which I did since I felt it just standard process for these things. Long story short it did not happen. I am upset cause there were not transparent about it and made it look as an easy fix for this. The repair was good but I don't think it is worth the out of pocket pay and what I had to go through it.
If you want professional work and at a reasonable time you need to take your vehicle to Vic's. No hassle, no runaround, just in and out with lifetime showroom finish on their excellent craftsmanship.
I have always used VICs for my insurance claims..this last time I called because my insurance wouldn't cover the sunroof on my Toyota rav4..they were super understanding and referred to JB auto glass who is also in VICs. John Carlos...hooked it up...I ended up paying less than what he quoted me and as far as VICs goes..they have done awesome work on my 2014 f150!!!
My insurance recommended this place to get my car repaired after a fender bender outside was fixed alright but inside was awful my AC was never the issue when I first took it in and it became a major issue when I picked my car up... after several trips back and forth and nothing was ever resolved I took my car to my dealership and they informed me that they placed a refurbished part in my car with a leak. Needless to say save your money and go somewhere else.
Excellent service and great quality of work. Took my car in for a dent repair with paint and couldn't be happier with the end product! 10/10 recommend Vic's to anyone in need of automotive work.
Horrible customer service. I walked and a female associate told me they couldn’t give me a quote because they only give quotes 8:30-11:30. What business only gives quotes for 3 hours. Then I informed her that’s insane I work so I’ll never be able to get the quote can I speak to your manager. That’s when this rude associate said she would get me a quote for $25. I was referred to this shop from my mechanic. I called him and told him the place is horrible with terrible customer service. They act as if they’re paying you to get the repair and not the other way around. Don’t waste your time at this business
Took my truck in for a dent repair and paint. Joe Suarez was the person I dealt with. He was very professional and told me it would take about 3days due to how busy they were. He kept me posted on my truck and before the third day my truck was done and delivered to my place of employment. He went the extra mile and had my truck washed as well. Great work on the dent and paint, can’t even tell it was there. Great Job Joe Suarez and Thank You for your Great Customer Service.
I took a Dodge Caravan once and it left this place in worse shape than when I took it. Windshield debris was flying out of the defrost and AC vents because they were too lazy to clear it out. The heater core was leaking water onto the passenger side floor. If they do take pride in their work it wasn`t performed on my vehicle. I had to constantly hound them for an update. Save yourself the trouble and find another place.
Had damage during Hurricane Hanna that left my car in pretty bad shape. My vehicle honestly looks better than when I bought it. Words cannot explain how good my car came out. Thanks Vic’s for the awesome job on my car!!!
Friends and family, be careful if ever you are dealing with this company! I was recommended to this place for repair and they tried to swindle me(Probably because I am a woman) !! They claimed that they “replaced” my tail light but had only buffed it out and yet charged $414.91! When I confronted the person in charge of my car, George, and demanded to see the “old” tail light he stated that there was possibility it had not been changed! How the hell does that happen? He also claimed that he “did not see that it had not been replaced” ! Of course I could see right though his BS! If they think they can swindle you, they will! If they think insurance is paying, they will add in all this BS just to rack up the bill! DO NOT GO to Vic’s Rebuilders!!
Wonderful service from the moment I walked in until I left again with my repaired car. They had all my paperwork ready from my insurance company before I got there. They told me exactly what they were going to do to my car to repair it. They told me the timeline for each step of the way. When I picked up my car it looked brand new, inside, outside, even the tires. Drop off your car here with confidence that they care and will do the job right.
The overall experience Vic’s provided was amazing!! They kept me up to date on everything that was going on with my repairs via sms which was very convenient. They also vacuumed my car which was a total shock to me since I was not expecting that at all...btw, the work they did is 10000000 gold stars!!! Great job Vic’s...oh, and forgot to mention how friendly the staff was!! Definitely recommending y’all
After experiencing a bad crash my vehicle was taken here. The ladies from the office were so kind and helpful during the process before my ultimate total loss was in their possession. It eased the stressful situation I was in.
We came in this Saturday morning with a small but immediate problem. They fixed it in a few minutes, and didn't charge us for their gracious assistance. The building is new, spotless and welcoming. The gentleman at the desk was polite and helpful, as were the other employees we met. Couldn't have happened upon a better place to seek help. Definitely on my go to list from now on. I highly recommend to other ladies for fair and equal treatment. You might find as good elsewhere, but I doubt you'll find better. Thank you Vic's.
I'm only giving this place a one start just because I can't leave it blank so I can leave a review. Let me start by saying this place has Very poor customer service as if my day wasn't stressful enough getting my truck towed to a mechanic. Long story short I called the lady to make my payment over the phone to pay with my card and the lady went crazy yelling at me telling me they only accepted cash and she started freaking out yelling "I told you I told you only cash" which was not a problem but she didn't mention to me at all when I spoke earlier that they only accepted cash. She started YELLING not "talking" "YELLING" I couldn't even get a word in I literally had to talk over her because she just kept on yapping. I don't know but I guess if you're calling a tow truck to tow your vehicle the last thing you need is an over reacting lady going crazy on her shift/you .She seemed like she had a long day or week and was taking it on me. It was Monday by the way.
They did great job on the 02 Tundra buy they wouldn't touch the 92 Buick. I spent five months getting the parts because they said they couldn't. After getting the parts, refused to work on the Buick because they call the job a liability. Glad they refused because the shop that did the work went above-and-beyond.
