Absolute WORST service!! Management rude! Driver completely incompetent! Over charged by 100 because no one could get the payment right! When I called back to discus what had happen BEN did not want to hear and blamed me when I had doubled verified with driver!! Now they do not want to answer!!
Pharr pd called them to pick up my car after a wreck once there they gave me an extremely high price compared to other towing companies for 10 miles i was only 1.5 miles away from home just paid it there because i didn’t want to worry about picking it up later and paying more another time after fixing it the cover on the bottom started coming off and scraping against the road on my first drive after it being fixed I’m sure it was because of the tow never had a problem like that before.
They make you call to make an appointment and when you show up the “main guy” isn’t even here. Appt was at 2pm had to wait 30+mins so the main guy could show up. People have other things to do other than sit around waiting to be taken care of and it ain’t cheap either, they could at least respect the appointment times
I'm using this towing service for the 3rd time for heavy duty towing (semi trucks) I'm glad there are honest and professionals like Ben in this business especially in my business area. I can recommend him to anyone, he picks up his phone and does the work. Any low comments left here are from sour people, having a bad day who don't have a reality of how the world works. I understand that the recent flooding in the valley caused an influx of calls and added stress to local businesses. However, the way this company handled the situation was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
My mother was caught in floodwaters while picking up my nephew from school and had to leave her car behind. The next morning, after making several calls—including to Pharr PD—she was given the name of this company. When she called, she was met with extreme rudeness from "Ben," who impatiently told her he "didn't have time" to help her and was "leaving." When she pointed out his unprofessionalism, he doubled down, saying, "Oh, I'm being rude?" and dismissing her concerns with, "This is how I talk." Then hung up on my mother after giving her another number to call.
Upon arriving at the business, it was clear that the facility was not as advertised—completely disorganized, messy, and chaotic. While speaking with a "Victoria" over the phone earlier, we were given one price (I keep notes of everything), only for her to later deny ever discussing pricing and then attempt to overcharge us upon arrival. Other customers at the location voiced similar complaints about their experiences.
This level of dishonesty, disorganization, and lack of professionalism is inexcusable, especially when dealing with people already facing stressful situations. I strongly advise against using this company.
Waited and waited only to have the wrecker drive past me and leave. Was told he “didn’t see me” so he left and was being sent on another call. No attempt to contact and he didn’t even wait 1 minute before leaving. Told them just cancel after being told it was going to be another 30 minutes. Just ridiculous that they made no attempt to even contact me.
Absolutely terrible and ridiculous they messed up the car more than it was when it was in the accident. They broke the windshield and all the parts under the hood were crushed after they towed it, but In pictures they were still in decent shape after the accident. It looked like it was done on purpose. They are not good and very unprofessional. I suggest finding another business to help you get your car services if you need it. they charge too much for such a bad job. Anywhere is better than them.
Update: I just saw that they had responded and I want to reiterate the unprofessionalism these people have. Not once did they request a photo. But since they wanted to ask for them now let me show everyone. I stand by my statement I made 2 years ago. ANYONE BUT BEN’S TOWING. had I known what I know now I would have never let them touch this vehicle to begin with. They are not trustworthy. they aren’t honest. And they are immature. Take your business elsewhere. They are not worth their excessive prices. I wouldn’t even trust them with a bicycle. And to the owner, grow up and provide quality service. If you are so bothered by people sharing their bad experiences, GIVE BETTER EXPERIENCES. Right after the accident and the second picture is when we went to look at my car after BEN’S TOWING picked it up from the scene. You are a liar Ben. Your business is not even worth 3 stars. Had my vehicle towed last night they overcharged me they had my vehicle for less than an hour and he charged me for two days. The man that helped me was trying to stay with the change. He was calling that a tip.
I called them several times with random questions. They always pick up phone calls fast and they are friendly. When I arrived to pick up my belongings the lady at the window was very friendly and helped me. Not enough parking on the front but a few spots on the side
These guys are rip off, they towed our truck 7 miles and asked for $3500 and the tow driver threat my driver on the way if you don’t pay us 3500 he’s going to drop him off in the way and he’s going to take the truck to the their yard. And whoever is the owner or supervisor of this company didn’t answer their phone and when we asked for an itemized bill, they couldn’t even give us one invoice. They made two invoices one for tractor and one for trailer even though they got towed at the same time and the truck and trailer was hooked.
We called another tow companies they told us that for this tow charge shouldn’t be over 1100.
For 5.6 miles $3500 this is insane. I wish I could give them zero stars.
We had a very positive experience with Ben's 24 hrs towing. Our driver Ray was on time in 30 minutes got our RV out of the mud right away without any damage. We would use this company again. We give them 5 stars plus.

Ben towed my daughters car and when she mentioned she was a Veteran who is disabled he shrugged her off. He mentioned that he's not a social worker. Which I find unnecessary. He also mentioned he has no time for people with disabilities as a whole.
The team here went above and beyond. My truck was stolen and recovered by the McAllen police and taken here. When transport came to pick it up the team had to use a forklift to get it on the transport as there was no keys. After 3-4hrs they didn’t give up where most would have and got it done. Ty!

Pretty sure my vehicle was unlawfully towed. Researched texas towing laws and researched on TDLR website. Car was towed from an area without a towing enforcement sign, no contact information, no times of towing enforced. To add insult to injury, the police was not notified. We were under the impression the vehicle was stolen. The male that we spoke to was dispicable and wouldn't allow you to speak. He was an ignorant, unreasonable, angry, and sad man. The vehicle was parked in an area where there was suppose to be a yellow curb, but the curb is so faded and it was dark. If they are going to enforce towing at a certain time and day, there should be a sign. I took photos and they would not consider looking at them or listen to my case. I was beyond upset with the way this was handled.
This place was called for a vehicle accident. I went the next day to pick up my car only to find out that they literally destroyed the car! I had to call to make a police report. Front windshield was intact during accident.(and I have photos to prove it!) Steering wheel bag as well. When I went to get it out the vehicle had all airbags ejected and front windshield destroyed! Car looked fixable at the accident.. and I ended up leaving the car! Later I realized they probably did it on purpose to keep it and sell it for parts!!! Mcallen police department should NOT use them! Probably asking friends for better ratings to leave positive reviews to be honest. No way this place is 3 star service.. much less 5!
Called for a tow, Ben showed up pretty quickly considering it was a busy area and ended up helping me push-start my car. Very friendly guy. I recommend his services to anyone. I'm hoping i don't ever need a tow again but if i do I know who I'm hitting up.

They were extremely helpful due to our circumstances. Definitely great prices over all the competitors in the area. They were able to tow a truck and trailer without hitting us over the head like the other guys. Very personable, I didn't catch the guys names but I really wish I did for the future. I spent the better half of my Saturday trying to get my car back, it did not help that I had to deal with more lost time due to the lack of attention and unprofessionalism characterized by this company. I contacted these people multiple times after the time we agreed to meet, and all I got was a sad and long sighhh, as if to tell me I was obnoxious, telling me they’re on their way. It’s almost been an extra hour after the initial hour. I am still waiting.
Extremely rude and did NOT need to speak down on customers. Our roadside assistance agency contacted them to help us, we called to confirm ETA and the employee was exceptional rude and not professional. Not even one minute into the conversation, the employee was angry and bothered by us. The lack of compassion is DISGUSTING AND DISTASTEFUL. "I do not need to help you I have plenty of business" when contacting them for ETA confirmation. Hurricane Hanna already stressed us, this company is HORRIBLE.
The service we received from this company was superb. This was a late night tow that was across 30 miles and we had been turned down from other 24hr companies. The dispatcher was professional and the driver was efficient and kind. Thank y’all for all the help!
All of these low reviews are just upset people who got their vehicles towed when they’re just doing their job. I give them 5 stars because these people know what they’re doing. My car got stuck in a mud pit, the guy who answered the phone was super cool and worked with me and really helped me out. He sent one of his drivers over, 15 min later Ernesto got there and he got my car out in less than 20 min. Ernesto was a cool guy and went out of his way to help me out. Highly recommend them
Worst customer service ever. I was in a panic to get my car out forgot my keys. The guy rudely stated i was wasting his time.. is he serious... I told him... I am paying you for your service for towing a vehicle from a visitors parking lot in an apartment complex. He said well that's not my proble which i get but there is ways to speak to people or ladies like me. Rude person. It wasn't cheap I paid 255 but I get there and this guy doesnt have cash so I had to tip $5 because they are bad in business and dont have cash on them. Literally worst wrecking service customer service all around ...if there was 0 stars I would. They are not professional at all. They lack customer service skills.
