Horrible service. Rude and not helpful. No courtesy call if they are runningvery late. They prioritize accidents and expect customers to know how tow company works. Do not use this company.

Wow. It got worse. So defensive and now liars or deaf ..cuss...we would never. What does that prove not a good company. Thank you for proving US right and we are glad we chose another company who by the way has enough workers to help wrecks and help those with flat tires at the same time. They arrived to help us in 10min after we canceled with you. Says it all. Any notification we did receive by the way came from our car insurance not yall. Should've canceled sooner!!¡
A. We dont cuss.....Ever but ok "recorded" sure.
B. Never received notifications no texts
C. If truck needed to tow was different how we're we supposed to know the insurance and yall got our vehicle information completely wrong. Thank God my significant other called to see why after an hour yall hadn't shown up.
D. How were we supposed to know wrecks are prioritized without any type of communication. Good for you but let customers know. So which was the delay a wreck or tow truck change ??????

Had a really good experience with J&S Towing. The driver was great about keeping me updated on when he’d get there and showed up right when he said he would. Communication was on point the whole time, which really helped take the stress out of the situation.
When he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and handled everything quick and smooth. You can tell he takes pride in doing the job right.

The whole company is great. The receptionist answered all my questions and had so much patience (which is much needed when you’re stressed). The driver Devin was AMAZING!! Super nice and made great conversation! Loved this company and definitely will be calling again if I need to.
When you call the phone number lady answers, she will say 8am-4pm as their work hours. She said call an hour ahead if you arrive after hours.
When I arrived at 8.25am, the guy said hours are posted it says 9am-3pm. Extremely rude, I will never use them if I have a choice, police called them to tow after accident. Avoid these rude guys.

Driver was awesome. Transported my classic convertible with top down on an otherwise sunny day. Of course he hit a very isolated patch of rain, but he took immediate action , pulled off the highway, and under a gas station overhang. I was able to raise the top and we continued onto our destination. His quick thinking kept water from soaking the inside of my car. Great friendly service
Best towing experience I’ve had. These guys were prompt and contacted me right away to let me know they were on their way. I was in a dangerous situation and they put my mind at ease and didn’t leave me until I was safe and on my way. I highly recommend them and am adding them to my contact list.

So I was really stupid and killed two wheels on my beautiful Mustang GT about 90 minutes ago. Devin was quick to call and give me an ETA, and arrived well within that ETA. He was very careful and took terrific care of my vehicle. 10/10 would recommend!

J&S towing picked my car up from the border and brought it back to San Marcos in 2 days. They really came through for me. Jeff and Jon were super communicative and kept ne updated every step of the way, and were transparent about prices.

So (EDIT: on July 18th) I called J&S because it had the best ratings and boy was I wrong. I had my two boys with me and pulled into A+ Federal credit Union and my tire popped off the ball and pin right in the middle of the parking lot. I called J&S and two guys came and I gave them $150 because that's what they told me. One guy tried counting the money like three or four times and couldn't figure it out so he handed it to his other coworker. Took them about 5 minutes to count the money.
Finally they were about to tow my truck and I wasn't sure how they were going to do it because they didn't tell me anything and so I put my phone up in a tree inconspicuously wanting to record what they're doing but one of the guys saw me and they dropped what they were doing and called their boss. The owner arrived in his big truck, got out and wanted to know immediately who was recording. I looked right at him and said "That would be me."
He got super pissed and said "That's a liability! I can't tow you!" Yelling! Looked at his guys and started yelling at them telling them to pack it up and that they couldn't help me.
I told him I'm sorry and I just didn't feel comfortable the way they were about to tow my truck but the owner didn't even let me talk and got up in my face and acted like he wanted to fight me.
So they just took off and left my boys and I stranded there. Took off with my money as well but the guys who couldn't count lol, fortunately were honest enough to bring back my money after I called.
I didn't know recording was against the law and a "liability."
Very shady, and most of all very very unprofessional to talk to me like that.
I will never call them again and also will tell everyone in town not to use them.
Oh yeah I just love how in your review section if someone has a complaint you just tell everybody off and you're never wrong. Awesome customer service!!!

Jeff and his daughter worked as a team and helped tow this huge 5th wheel camper. It wasn't easy, but he made it look easy! They were on time and communicated any delays in sevice and did the job quick! Thank you!
J&S Towing Did amazing work. The wait wasn’t too bad and the price compared to others that were charging way too much for a short drive was great and affordable as a college student. Ten outta ten parking skills when getting my car into the spot it needed to be dropped off in. I never would’ve been able to maneuver in between a car and a pole like that. Extra stars for having the cutest pup with them that loved saying hi and made a bad night a little better.
