Went there to get some oil for my diesel. The guy helping me told me that any oil would work, it didn’t have to be specific for diesel engines. I bought it, went home and decided to do some research. Turns out the t does matter. I took the oil back and told the same guy that diesels took specific oil. He didn’t say much, just gave me the credit and I purchased the right oil. Some people hate to see other have more than they do, and if they are that type of person, that’s the type of stuff they will try. He never even acknowledged or said he made a mistake. Not good business. I have since boycotted oreillys and will not be returning. I only spent about 1000-2000 per year so it’s probably no big deal. I even asked a mechanic about the situation after, he looked at me like, why would he have said that.
I want to give a huge shoutout to Michael at O’Reilly Auto Parts for going above and beyond with his customer service. I came in needing a battery replacement, and from start to finish, Michael was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and professional.
He didn’t just sell me a battery — he took the time to make sure I got the right one for my vehicle, explained everything clearly, and even helped with the installation. He made what could have been a frustrating situation feel simple and stress-free.
What really stood out was how much he genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of. That kind of service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.

I can’t thank Brad enough!! On 6/1/25 (Sunday @ 11AM CST). One of my headlights went out. My cousin and I stopped in to replace it! Brad got the right bulb, told us how to change it and then, came out to my car and replaced the old bulb with the new one IN MINUTES!!!! He was kind and professional!!! He didn’t try to oversell me on anything else, which I greatly appreciated!!! When I’m in the area again and need anything for my car, I’ll definitely go to O’Reilly’s for assistance!! I needed someone to check my oil went to Auto Zone in Taylor and the manager refused to do it. I'm 71 year old lady so I was surprised. I took it to O'Reilly and they said no problem. Won't be going back to Auto Zone!
This is actually a bad review but I respect the place enough to not tarnish your rating. Me and my friend have spent well over 1000$ at this place and have always had great conversations with everyone…. Except today. Andrew gave us the worst attitude I’ve ever seen at an O’Reillys. I understand having bad days but not wanting to do simple tasks when asking about purchase history really pissed me off when he said “i could do that, but I don’t want too” I wanted to say something to his face but I held it back so I could say it here

I come here often and never have any problems. Today, the girl behind counter refused to return a belt for me. She had to grab the manager from the back to check me out. She must of been scared the belt would bite her I guess? Kevyn had to come to the rescue and got mad I was asking him questions? Seems like a lack of management here. Thanks for my reprint receipt. The other O’reillys didn’t have a problem pulling it up for me when I called. Said they would be more than happy to help me with my return.
Went to O’Reilly’s a few minutes ago…store employee, Andrew, was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! The item I needed was just a simple rear window wiper, but this employee made me feel like I was asking for a motor! SUPER friendly…all of the employees there SUPER friendly…I will be giving my business to O’Reilly’s from now on…

I was leaving town on Wednesday and my car wouldn't start. I got a jump and went straight to O'Reilly. The very kind assistant manager sold me the correct battery AND installed it for me! Right then with NO hassle or stress. I thank you.
Needed new wiper blades for my 2008 Malibu. The gentleman at the Taylor, Texas, O'Reilly's Auto Parts was extremely patient with my automotive ignorance and took time to identify exactly which ones I needed. And this being Texas, thanks to the other customer who also kindly helped in identifying the brand I already had on my car.
The people who work the counter here know about cars, not just how to look something up on the computer. They are always willing to find and/or order difficult to find parts.
Christopher doesn't have time for customers that have made online orders. Disappointed with oreillys in Taylor. We spend alot of money and have accounts but they don't want to solve the situation from the online order. I dont think I have time either.
I typically have good luck with getting what I need. On 22 August I ordered a lug nut that was supposed to be in the following day. I went to pick it up on 24 August (even a day after) they could not find it. So, they offered to reorder it. I agreed and they did, so it was supposed to be in today, I just went by and they don’t have it again.
Always impressed with the staff at O’Reillys in Taylor Texas.. I had an issue with my alternator 200 miles away and I sent my GF to pick one up in Taylor. They were very helpful to someone who was not knowledgeable (GF) about the product. Then after determining I only had a bad wire, they graciously allowed let her return it. Fast and easy...
Not a huge inventory but usually they can get what you need shipped to the store somewhat fast. Prices are not that competitive. Some really friendly and knowledgeable people and a few that should never deal with people or cars and give very bad advise.
This oreilleys was the best one I’ve ever visited! I needed a battery replaced in my key fob, and they couldn’t find a screwdriver small enough so they found one in the package and opened it for me took my battery out and put the new one in. Some of the best customer service I’ve seen in a while!
Arrived around 730pm on sunday 9/3 because I thought my battery was going bad the sales associate tested it and told me that the problem was with my alternator. Monday morning I missed 3 hours of work to take my car to the dealer for warrenty work and found the Battery was bad and got a new one there maybe some training is in order not happy about the run around
If you're still shopping at AutoZone for car parts you just wasting your money or it better be an emergency. O'Reilly's lifetime warranty really saves you if you own a car for more than a few years. don't forget they have tools to loan just ask at the desk. By the way never buy the cheapest oil filter at any store as they are just junk I'm talking to you FRAM.
