This review isn't based primarily on the good work they do here, but more on the character of Mark, the owner. My experience with Mark took me back to the good old days when men kept their word and handshakes were binding contracts. A man of high ethics and moral fiber which is rare in this era. The work he does is of the highest quality, but when a man like Mark stands behind it, you will never worry about satisfaction in your business dealings with Classic Street.

I've had a few cars worked on here. I had a clutch installed in my Camaro, body work and paint. Had an engine built and transmission installed on my cutlass interior was addressed. Body and paint on my galaxie 500 XL. If you have a car... You can get it looked at over there.. if classic cars are your addiction, your in the right place!

This is my honest review of Classic Street. I think Classic street is probably better at doing some things than others. I feel like some good people work there but the know-how and capabilities for performing certain repairs are greatly exaggerated. I have not had negative personal experiences with anyone there but In my case, I never felt good about the services I purchased from them. I originally approached Classic Street to have my A/C repaired and the heater core replaced in my classic car. I was quoted a price and a two week turnaround. The price seemed reasonably fair so I was very excited. Three months and over double the original estimate later, I got my car back. I always had to call CS for updates and I was repeatedly told during this process that my car would be done "tomorrow" or the "next week." By the time I got the car back, summer was dying down. The A/C in the car worked, but the belts were jumping around like crazy. I also noticed there was significant drag on the engine when using the A/C. The A/C stopped blowing cold after about 5 days of normal use so I stopped using the A/C all together. I was then faced with the dilema of wether or not I should bring the car back. Seeing as how it had already taken three months and the bill was paid I was reluctant to leave my car out in the elements for a long period again. While using the heat one day, I heard a loud clacking and smelled smoke coming from the front of the car. I then decided to take it back to CS to see if they could fix it since I had invested a lot of money into this repair. Again, I was assured a speedy turn around. Again I was left worrying about my car as the weeks turned into months. The problem was diagnosed as a bad A/C Clutch. After about a month I called and was told they couldn't find a clutch for the A/C Compressor. I was able to locate several with a quick internet search. This made me feel a little strange as if it was just an excuse not to work on the car. This was my worry from the beginning. I was finally contacted by CS with tracking info for a compressor clutch but after several days and due to bad weather, I could not stand for the car to sit in the shop yard any longer. I decided to pick the car up, and now thankfully Its back in my care.I was told, I would have the part 2 days ago that was supposed to be under warranty but I have not heard anything from CS. As I said before, the heater core was replaced by CS when they did the A/C and today it started spewing coolant from under the dash. I have decided to write it off as a loss and a learning experience. Another instance when I should have fixed it myself.

Stopped by just to have a look, ended up buying a pair of Chevelle fenders while I was there, these guys are the real deal, they had a lot work going on but still took a few minutes to talk about my project and give me a rough estimate on panel replacement from the pictures I showed them, definitely going back.
