I was released from grayson county for traffic violations Franks Towing impounded my vehicle which contained much of my personal property, ie, my wife's medication, a bicycle, wallet, proof of insurance etc
They refused to release my property despite the insurance in my name on the vehicle. I went and got the title, went back later in the evening, say 7:30ish. She told me I was late and refused once again and said to come in the morning
This is a formal account of a serious incident with Franks Towing in Whitesboro, TX, on [9/22/25]. Despite receiving both verbal and written authorization from the rental company, Franks Towing staff illegally denied access to personal belongings, including a wallet and phone, from a towed rental vehicle. In violation of Texas state law, which prohibits vehicle storage facilities (VSFs) from withholding personal property, the staff forcibly removed me from the lot while I was attempting to resolve the matter with the rental company. The staff's conduct was unprofessional and disrespectful throughout the encounter. A formal complaint detailing these actions is being filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and will be followed by further legal action !
Jessie was great he arrived in under ten minutes got me home Quickly.Also had a cold bottle of water for me.This Company is Great.I highly recommend!!! Great Price.
They got my daughter off the side of the highway and not only made sure she was safe but that she also felt safe until I could get there from 3 hrs. away. That says it all...A COMPANY YOU CAN TRUST WITH YOUR CHILD WHEN SHE IS ALONE AND SCARED ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT IN AN UNFAMILIAR AREA!!!!! Great customer service from the first call I made at 2:30A.M. to the follow up the next morning making sure everything was ok. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their services. Also it was cheaper than any tow I have gotten in town. Jessy deserves a raise...lol..
Have done a lot of business with the gang at Franks for maybe about 12 to 13 years now. They're wonderful people. Always felt like family when I had to stop in. Truly wonderful people!
This towing company robs people!!! Over $450 to get my brothers vehicle back that was towed from the side of the rode LESS THEN 12 HOURS while he went to go get a tire!!! This company should be ashamed of themselves!! But the lady in the office said "I'll call you when I get back to the office, im Christmas shopping at the moment" so I guess she wanted to make her Christmas money back!!! Merry Christmas Franks Towing you just took Christmas from 2 little boys under the age of 5 and a little girl under the age of 2!!!

This company takes advantage of the helpless. I took down a similar rating at the request of my wife. They billed me over $500 for towing my car 2 miles and holding it overnight. The following morning they would not give me access to the car, because they believed I would not be willing to pay the fee if it would not start. I knew it would not start. After receiving an itemized bill in the mail my conscience would not allow me to remain silent. In February of this year I had that car towed from Whitesboro to Sherman for $165. This bill included $175 for winching. This is the fourth time I have had a car towed. Winching is always required. There are towing services who charge reasonable fees. Let the buyer beware.
Would give them more stars if possible ,they are super nice people and did an amazing job at helping me and when above and beyond! Definitely recommend them if you ever need to get something towed!
Wow, I just want to thank y'all for such a pleasant experience. My husband's car broke down in Whitesboro last night, on a dangerous section of highway 82. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and professional. She got me in touch with their driver Jessie. He was quick to get to the car, got it loaded and safely to our house. He even placed it expertly in the pole barn out of our way. He was so friendly. And, he's a veteran! I forgot to say it last night, but thank you, Jessie for your service to our country.

It cost way to much money to get my Tahoe out and I wanted to get it out the night before but conveniently they were cl8sed, I got there at 8 the next morning and the still charged me for another day
I broke down pulling a large trailer on I35. They brought out the tow truck and their personal truck to pull my trailer. They towed me to a dealership and worked out a place for me to park my trailer and stay in it in a motel parking lot! Great people who really go the extra mile!
This is the second time that I've used Frank's towing service. The driver has always been very competent and very nice. Enjoy doing business with you guys. When I do need a towing service I will certainly use you in the future
After hitting a deer (front bumper/hood/grille/headlight-assy/quarter panel) I chose this shop based on a good friend's advice. This shop and staff get 5+ stars! Thank you to R***** and her Sister for getting everything sorted out prior to my appointment date so that when they received my truck they had all the parts needed for the job. The turnaround time was quick and the work looks great! Thx again!

My car was towed here after an accident I was in and they were very accommodating while working with me post ICU release to get my belongings out of the totaled vehicle.
These people are incredibly rude and have no concept of customer service whatsoever. In fact if I could rate them negative stars I would because one star is still too many.
If you need a tow in Northern Grayson County, this place is for you. Fast, knowledgeable, and a very fair price. They respond quick and have what is needed to take care of you. Friendly driver's that are willing to go the extra mile.

Very pleasant to talk to on the phone and equally pleasant dealing with on-site during the tow. The tow driver arrived really fast and was very courteous in handling my vehicle. I hope to not need them again in the future, but if I do, they will be my first choice. Highly recommend.
This towing company was very quick with their response time, excellent customer service and had a very friendly driver. Went out of their way to make my experience as painless as possible. Will definitely use them again if ever needed.
