Called Royal Auto Towing originally, but he is a solo operation and today was his day off so he recommended giving these guys a shout instead. A quick phone call later and Keith was on his way to my house to tow my ‘01 Chevy Camaro that I’ve been rebuilding. Keith was ridiculously fast and efficient. Nice guy and perfectly aligned the car where I needed it to be in its new garage. Can’t thank him enough, and these guys as a whole have earned my endorsement.

Stampede picked up my motorcycle and quoted 220 dollars, including fees and $20 a day for 2 days and they ended up charging me almost four hundred and fifty dollars. Crooks I promise. I will never use their services Of course, they already have your vehicle. So what can you do but pay the ransom

The guy who helped me when I picked my truck up was amazing!!! Super nice!!! BUT HOW IN THE HELL DO YALL HAVE TO BREAK A SIDE VIEW MIRROR??? AND SCRATCH UP A VEHICLE THATS IN YOUR POSSESSION??? FREAKING RIDICULOUS!!! Edit/update: it wasn’t the tow service that scratched my truck…it was the drug dog!!! I am changing from 1 star to 4 due to this revelation and I am not giving 5 stars because, tow services because of the cost!!

John was willing to help me when I was stuck on the side of the highway with a flat tire. This man was on his way home from work and took the time to help me out. He was kind enough to take me off the highway and get me somewhere safe free of charge. He didn’t have to do that but he did and may God bless him for that! It was something I have never experienced before but John was extremely nice and understanding, I appreciate him so much.

Can’t say enough good things about Stampede! My wife was stuck on the side of the feeder road of 45 south in League City. Their driver was awesome. Very kind, professional, and quick. Unlike most towing companies, it was clear this guy really cared about us as the customer. Towed our CRV a few miles down the road. Only charged me $75. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for help! Thank you Stampede! Ps. They’re next door to an awesome mechanic (Little Automotive).

My insurance company was having a hard time finding a tow for me. However, the agent stated that if I called and found someone, they could either reimburse me or work out a way to pay them directly. I found stampede, and when their driver showed up, I offered to pay with my card. He stated they only take cash , which was no problem as he was ok with me sending the payment with cash app. As soon as I was about to send the money, my insurance called back to check up on me. However the driver heard this and ask why was I calling him out if I already had a tow company coming. I was about to explain that wasn't a tow company but my insurance, and if he would have waited a minute, maybe progressive could have set the tow payment up on their end. Either that, or I just pay and get reimbursed. However, this guy went off and was extremely rude. I told him don't worry about and I'll just figure it out myself. While I was still stuck, the same driver drove by a few times yelling "I hope you stay stuck All night mfer". If that wasn't enough, he even went so far as to call the police and tell them that I was intoxicated. Even the League city police officer was annoyed and apologize that I had to go through something like that. I also want to mention that he only stepped out his stuck for a few minutes and didn't do any work (hooking up anything), so I'm not too sure what his problem was.

Do NOT do business with this company if you can help it. They towed our vehicle from the crash site (our car was rear ended and totaled). They would not allow anyone to pick up items from the vehicle even though the person on the title was injured, at the hospital, and unable to recover the items. When someone was willing to bring the person on the title over the weekend they would not release the items even though they were open because it wasn’t regular business hours. Then they released our vehicle on Monday morning before we got there knowing we had our stuff inside!!! Worst customer service EVER!

I didnt have a bad experience with them in regards to attitude like others had mentioned. They weren't rude but didnt really like only having till 3pm to pick up or have to have an appt after. Also am missing an expensive knife out of my car but am awaiting to see if the police confiscated it before we confirm the tow truck guy took it. Will update soon. UPDATE-- The police did NOT take the knife out of my car. Only other person with access to take it was the tow truck driver. So yes it's missing from stampede. I will be checking my glove box to see what else is missing. Better check your car when you pick it up. If I'd known when I picked my car up I would have addressed it then and there. Dont imagine anyone will admit it especially a week later. Shaking my head.

HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE AND SERVICE!! The red headed ‘’lady” was extremely rude!! Should get fired because of terrible service!! I got into a major accident and she didn’t allow me to come pick up the items from my car (like my medication I have to take). I was in the hospital and asked if I could go after or over the weekend and she told me no, again I had my medication in there. Then I went on Monday to pick up my items and she said my car was gone. I called my insurance company to ask why it was picked up and they said the lady at the front allowed them to pick it up. I went back in and asked her why she allowed that and she kept blaming my insurance, whom I literally got off the phone with 30secs before. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!
