Great customer service from Ray!
I had a truck brought out since my car would not start on my way to a meeting and Ray helped resolve the issue in a timely manner and as very honest throughout the process. I thought I would need to be towed to the shop, but I ended up not needing to, so I only paid a service fee.
Everyone was very transparent on the pricing before and during the process and the prices were extremely reasonable compared to some other local services.
Thank you to Ray and to Marty’s for a great experience! If I have any issues in the future, this place will be my first call!

What was supposed to be a relaxing day at Crystal Beach on our last weekend of the Summer, almost turned into a disaster right as we made the turn onto Bolivar Peninsula at 9am Sunday morning due to a broken drive belt on our 2017 Explorer.
We were able to limp to the ferry but ran out of battery power at French Town Road.
There was a Galveston Sheriff that saw us roll up and asked how we were. They already had a tow truck on the way for another vehicle and called for another and gave us a Marty’s number to arrange payment.
We were able to get towed over the ferry to O’Reilly Auto where a mobile mechanic met us and replaced the belt quickly.
Unfortunately, our beach day had to be cancelled because the belt tore out the air conditioning lines and it was over 100 degrees that day. We ended up driving straight home.
Thanks to Marty and his crew for helping us get back on the road.

Came here after being rudely hung up on by Tony &Bros towing company which I should have read the enormous amount of negative reviews prior before calling. This was total night and day difference! Mr. Marty was utmost professional and very kind and Mr. Junior was also very prompt with swift assistance and professionalism. Judging his strategies withy sand situation, he is definitely experienced. 5 stars isn't enough so I'm putting 6
This place had my car for over a month because I accidentally flooded my engine and somehow there was water in my gas tank but a week later I went to go get my car, when I was driving home my car had broke down on the highway and the car said the engine was flooded.
Ray was professional and courteous. The lady who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. If you want quick and affordable solutions, this is the towing company for you!
My car had a catastrophic mechanical issue over the Memorial Day weekend, and Marty's service was not only available but also quick and friendly and safe and professional and super educational. This is the kind of business you hope never to have to use again, but I ever get stuck again, I'm calling Marty's because they made a big bummer of a situation significantly less frustrating.
AMAZING Customer service! We had the unfortunate event of having car troubles while vacationing in Galveston. My husband found Marty’s and saw it had good reviews so, we went with them. Jerry was our tow truck driver. He went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us. Marty’s was booked solid for the day and couldn’t get us in to fix our car. We wanted to get it fixed same day. Another place said they could get us in and unfortunately we ended up having a bad experience with them. After accepting that we would have to wait another day, my husband called Jerry and he helped us get our car into Marty’s to get fixed. He said it would be done the next day by noon. Jerry called us and 830pm that night and said it was done! We were so impressed and thankful for his help and speediness! On top of that, the tow cost and repair costs were not astronomical and very acceptable. When Jerry was towing us he had made the statement of “treating people like you want to be treated”. He stood by that statement with how he took care of our family! It was a great life lesson for our kids to always “treat people like you want to be treated”. We can’t thank Jerry, the mechanic or Marty’s business enough for giving us a good experience. We would 100% recommend Marty’s to anyone local or visiting from out of town!
We had a small emergency today with locking the keys in the vehicle, I explained to the lady on phone what was going on and she had a driver en route within minutes. The woman on the phone was awesome, I think Clint was the driver who helped us out. I've never used Marty's before, but after today they have permanent customer. I am beyond grateful for the prompt and friendly service we received today. I'd rate 10 stars if I could.
Was in Galveston for a cruise and had car trouble. Took it to Marty’s and told him I’d be gone for 8 days—-it was fixed and waiting on me when I returned. Sure appreciated his service since I had a 600 mile trip home and got off the ship on a Sunday.

We were in town for Galveston and not familiar with the area, and our car was having issues and we felt lost and needed direction and guidance from an experienced individual and was able to have quick resolution and friendly and kind help from here. My husband and I were in Galveston on vacation. We had a great time, until we got on the ferry back. My car died on the ferry, which caused us both a great deal of anxiety. However, there was a tow truck on the ferry. It wasn't the kind we needed, but the man in the truck kindly offered to call someone for us. When we got back to the Galveston side, a tow truck was waiting for us. They quickly got us off of the ferry, and determined that we needed a new battery. We went to Auto Zone, got the new battery, and were out of town within two hours. Everyone at the towing service were very kind, very helpful, and made the experience much easier. I highly recommend this towing service to anyone who needs it. They are wonderful people, and deserve your service.
I had an amazing experience at Marty’s City Auto in Galveston! The service was quick, reliable, and fairly priced, but the real standout was Yo Yo. He was incredibly kind, patient, and went out of his way to make sure everything was taken care of. His willingness to help and friendly attitude made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The roadside assistance company I called was unable to start my car. A towing service was going to take hours to arrive so I called Marty’s Towing in Galveston and they arrived 20 minutes later. The driver was able to jumpstart my car and I was on my way! Outstanding response and service! I highly recommend Marty’s Towing!!
On Sunday 2/2/25, a day before leaving for a cruise our truck had a sensor go bad and caused multiple issues. We called Marty's and Ray showed up, gave us a jump and we took out truck to their shop while we went merrily about our cruise the next day. They kept the truck all week safely for us while we vacationed, fixed it perfectly and charged less than $300. These guys are amazing, fair and professional!

Marty’s towing cost are double what I paid Bosones and Classic in League City.
My car broke down Sept. 29 on 24 st. I called Marty’s and they towed me.
It was 32 miles to
My house in Clear lake,Tx.
They $75.00 hookup cost which was good.
But they charged me $8.00 a mile.
Others charge $4.00 a mile.
It cost me $347.00 to have my car towed from Galveston to my house in Clear Lake city.
That is DOUBLE the rate of other towns companies.
Also when I got my car in my garage, he wanted to charge extra (card charge) he called it.
I would recommend to everyone to get a different towing company than Marty’s.
Clint Brooks to the rescue! I was with my mom and dad at UTMB hospital on Harborside. We had to park on the 5th floor of parking garage #2. They both use walkers and my dad is on oxygen. After the appt we got back to the car to find a flat tire. I called a couple towing places who could not be bothered. It was around 5:30 pm, but Clint from Marty's came out to change the tire. The spare needed air, and he aired that up too to be sure we were safe going home. I don't know what we would have done without him. I could tell he had had a long day. He truly cared about our welfare. He is a good compassionate man. You don't find many like him anymore. I told him his good deed would be rewarded tenfold, and I am sure it will. He is one in a million and a great asset to this company. This is the place to call if you need people who not only know what they are doing, but care about their customers! Just can't say enough good things about them!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an auto shop. My wife and I were in Galveston over night. While pulling into a breakfast spot I hit a pothole while trying to read a sign. The plastic guard under the front of the car came loose. I saw this place had five star reviews and was just a couple of miles away. The owner/manager told me they weren’t taking and new cars. After asking me what my issue was he told me to pull up and they fixed the issue right away. You can tell he really values his customers and doing business the RIGHT way. We were blessed to find them when we needed a quick fix. It’s easy to tell why they have five starts. They just got another one.
I went in after my car stalled out due to flood water. No appointment or notice and I immediately had someone looking at my car. I believe the person to help me was Marty and he was incredibly kind. Took out my air filter that was soaked and replaced it for free. I couldn’t have asked for better service during a stressful time! His pupper was super cute as well. I highly recommend coming here if you ever have any issues with your car!!

Had to have my car towed on Saturday at one of the busiest intersections in Galveston. Called Marty’s towing and Gordo was there in less than 5 min. He got me out of the road and into an Orielly so I could have my car fixed there. I Bought what I needed and he even helped me change the battery so I could be back on the road asap. Gordo was very professional, nice, and even willing to lend an extra hand. I trust this company and recommend to anyone to use them for all your towing needs.
Excellent service starting from the person who first answered the phone on the second ring, and quickly dispatched a tow truck. The tow truck driver, Ray, took extra care loading my Taurus onto his flatbed. John at the shop let me know what to expect, and my car was ready the same day (although I picked it up the next morning from a nice gentleman who got me checked out and on my way). Reasonably priced service and great people. Highly recommend.
Helped an older lady deal with a lost key fob. Dealership told her she would have to have it towed to them for replacement. I helped the lady connect with Marty’s Towing. They responded immediately and got the car (which could not be put in neutral) very carefully loaded and delivered to the dealership. Very reasonable charge. Would highly recommend. I was in big trouble with my boat and trail.. I was pulling my boat and the trailer snapped leaving me and my wife stuck back on Stewart Rd.. Jumped on Google and found Marty’s and after explaining my terrible situation, Ray said he’d be there to help in about 20 minutes.. when Ray showed up he knew just how to handle the job.. he pulled the entire trailer and boat up onto his flatbed rig and delivered the entire package to the Jamaica Beach boat ramp, unload right at the boat ramp so I could back the boat right into the water!!! I can’t tell you how thankful and appreciative both my wife and me are of the GREAT service Marty’s and Ray provided.. If I’m ever in need of a tow or help again, I now have Marty’s programmed in my phone.

Our perfect girls getaway came to an unfortunate halt when our Jeep stopped working on the far side of the island 3 days before we needed to head back to Arkansas. We initially had the vehicle toed to a popular auto repair shop but they said our Jeep needed more parts than was necessary and couldn’t get what was needed in our time crunch.
After a few frantic calls back and forth with tow trucks and auto shops, John stepped up and saved the day. He immediately dropped everything, made countless phone calls, and drove all the way to Pasadena searching for a part and making sure our Jeep was fixed the same day so we could make our way back home on time. He even stayed an hour past closing on a Friday to wait for us to taxi to the shop.
If you have any car problem, John is the man who will get you fixed up. After working with him, our trip ended perfectly and he even saved us unnecessary costs. John revealed to us his integrity and instilled our faith in Marty’s City. If you ever have car troubles in this area, feel safe working with Marty’s!
Do not hesitate to use these guys! On Thanksgiving morning 2018, I became severely stuck in mud under the San Luis Pass bridge. And when I say stuck, I mean really, really stuck. I drive an offroad vehicle that is designed to not get stuck and comes with its own lift-kit accessible at the press of the button. Initial estimate to get to me was about 1.5 hours given my location but as we were talking, the tide was coming in and water was rising. They (2 of them) got their fast and tried multiple angles and braved getting in waste deep freezing water to get me connected to the tow cables. Eventually, they got me out but it wasn't easy - and they didn't quit until I was out. They happily escorted me to my hotel and stored my car until the appraiser could come and declare it totalled after the long holiday weekend. They worked with the insurance company without any issues. I've stored their # in the event I ever make the foolish mistake again. Be careful under that San Luis Pass bridge as not all those puddles are shallow - just make sure you have their phone number in case you do. Thanks guys and I appreciate the hard work!
