These ppl are the worse ever. Then the wrecker tells us it’s 175 just to drop the truck and they don’t take card and he wanted us to Zelle him the money. Even the police is telling him to drop it as a courtesy because he didn’t even move the truck 100 feet and I didn’t even request the damn tow.

I highly recommend using another company this company I way overpriced. They charged me over 500 to tow my car 2 miles from the location on west bellfort. I was expecting 250 maybe 300 but 550 for a 5 minute drive to me and a 5 min drive to my destination. Horrible on your part imperial and I hope you go out of business in the near future.

By far the fastest, easiest, friendliest dispatcher (Chris) and super efficient, skilled, down to earth driver (Dylan). Driving from out of state with 50 miles to my destination my Jeep died. I called, they answered every question, paid a VERY reasonable fee and the tow truck arrived faster than expected. Imperial 's number is now saved in my phone for peace of mind.
I would like to add that I've had numerous vehicles towed, from wrecks, to parking in a private lot, to just a vehicle breakdown, these people truly raised the bar for what I expect from a towing company.Dec 06, 2025 -
I was driving down 1093 from Katy into Fulshear when I had an incident with one of their drivers, who was in a long flatbed. I tried to pass one of their drivers, I put my turn signal on a gave him a few seconds before trying to get in front of the driver. But, his ego was so big he couldn’t handle being passed and resorted to speeding up to prevent me from getting in and honking at me. We were coming up to a turn so I had to speed up and get in front of the person in front of the driver and got honked at again when I finally got in front of him. Then he was tailgating me on 359 and didn’t back off until I tried taking pictures of him in my mirror. These drivers are aggressive and dangerous!!

I’ve got a Driver in Missouri Tx area and he’s been parking at a station now for 3 months with the permission of the owner and all their employees know this. Someone Called Missouri PD about an abandon Truck & Trailer that has been sitting there for right around 24hrs and they had it towed. Was not the gas station owner or employees who called so who would have called? Curious to how MPD runs their rotation on these types of tows. Anyways the bad review isn’t because of that. It is because they charged 1,535.24 to tow it 12 miles up the road to an Impound lot not including the lot fee. I can get a truck towed from Houston Tx to Bryan Texas for that price. That’s ridiculous. Companies like this that stiff small Trucking companies/owner ops are the Reason trucking companies struggle. So for this you get 1 star.

Review of Imperial Towing Company
I want to share my experience with Imperial Towing Company following an auto accident I was involved in on April 29th. Initially, I could have chosen a different towing service, but based on my Infiniti service advisor's recommendation, I decided to wait for Imperial Towing. Also, at a time of great uncertainty I didn’t have time to read any reviews to make a more informed decision.
Austin, the driver who arrived to pick up my vehicle, was very kind and courteous. I appreciate that he traveled a long distance to assist me. The vehicle was taken to a storage facility and then to the auto body shop the next morning due to the accident being in the late afternoon.
However, upon arrival at the auto body shop, it was discovered that the oil pan was cracked and all the oil had leaked out shortly (within 10 minutes) after being dropped off. I believe the damage was caused during the towing process. I am not an auto mechanic or expert, but I know that at the scene of the accident, my oil was still in the vehicle, and the damage to the oil pan couldn't have occurred from the accident itself, which was on the left front side. Both the insurance company and the auto body shop agree that the damage likely happened during towing.
The issue is that Imperial Towing’s representative, David, who was my point of contact, seemed quite surprised and confused about how this could have happened, especially considering the type of lift their company uses. Austin mentioned that their lifts are designed so that the tires never touch the ground, which should have prevented such damage. David explained that he is a manager and cannot make decisions about covering the cost for repairs. He said he needs to email the owner for approval to pay for the oil pan replacement and the new oil, and he cannot contact the owner directly or have you speak with them.
My main concern is that if your vehicle is damaged during towing with Imperial Towing, they may not take responsibility or provide a resolution. Unfortunately, I found that they are not very responsive and do not readily accept accountability for damages.
While others may have had better experiences, I wanted to share mine to highlight that if you choose to use Imperial Towing, be aware that they might not stand behind their service if damage occurs.May 19, 2025 -
Recently had a bad wreck and my car was towed to one of the Imperial Wrecker’s sites.
They were a bit hard to reach via phone call (for anyone not familiar: they appear to work from their tow truck, as in answering all the calls, writing out forms, etc). Anyway, I decided to arrive on site and met a super helpful guy who was in his wrecker truck.
He answered all of my questions politely and was considerate of my time, giving me the best options and advice on how to proceed with taking my car to a restoration shop.
It was my first (and hopefully last) accident, so I was a bit unsure how to do things. I’m also not from around that area, so I found the advice helpful and he also wrote out the Sterling McCall address that I needed to go to. They also got another wrecker truck to come out to the area so that my car can be transferred on a flatbed on the same day.
I appreciated their patience and consideration when explaining the process, and for overall helping me pretty quickly.Mar 25, 2025 -
Between 12 and 12:30 pm on I-10 east near Beaumont, an Imperial Wrecker truck with an empty trailer is tailgating us. We end up going 15 mph above the speed limit and the driver is still dangerously close. Finally a space opens on the packed highway and we move over. He probably hits 80 in a 60 as he speeds past us. i have the plate number if anyone is interested.

Fast and reliable. Got my truck towed to my house with no damage. Very affordable and straightforward. Will be using them again!

Truck driver thought it was a good idea to park in front of the main entrance to the parking garage. Did not want to relocate the vehicle after informing them my only way out was blocked. Lady on the phone was difficult to understand and dismissive of the situation, claiming the Maserati being fixed was more important than I was. I was stuck for 20+ minutes waiting for the driver to move so we could exit the garage. Unacceptable.

Totally unprofessional company. Owner is rude with zero customer service or any sort of etiquette. If it was possible to give zero stars. They'd get that. Don't waste your time or resources.

All I can say is horrible service. 4 hrs no show . Finally 5 hrs they called and said on there way .I canceled and reported this company to my state farm agency. Never use this company for anything. And the receptionist lies .and rude .wish I could give zero stars

They towed my truck and then they made me pay 1000 dollars to get it out of the warehouse. They are exploited abusers without a conscience who just want to take money from people.

I had a great experience. I called another company before them and it was going to be an hour or so to get my car. So I went down the list and chose Imperial I've seen them around town so I went with them and they came in 20-25 minutes. It could have been just perfect timing or my lucky day. The driver was very nice.

Was given ETA of 2:36PM. Driver called said he’s 25 minutes away. I then call back at 3:10, no response, until eventually he says another driver is en route & he should reach out to me soon. 2 hours past the original pickup time & still no contact with “other driver”. It’s crazy how punctual these drivers are when you’re parked in a random tow away zone & don’t want your car towed, and then seem to not know how time works whenever you actually need a tow.

A man and his daughter came out to give me a tow through my insurance agency. They were both kind, extremely helpful and shared some sage advice. Thank you very much.

After half an hour of waiting, the tow truck guy asked for our keys to ride on a FLAT TIRE to get on the back of the tow truck. . . Needless to say, we said no for obvious reasons of riding on a rim, and he immediately left and blocked our number without saying anything, we thought he was just trying to turn around to get the car on the lift properly, but he skidded out of the parking lot.

We were in a accident and these guys arrived quickly, were polite and professional and towed us safely to the dealership.

Driver stated he was 17 minutes away. I called him 52 minutes later. He stated his dispatcher reassigned him and he’s be there in an hour. Canceled because the storage lot would be closed by then.
Horrible communication and customer service.Dec 20, 2022 -
After waiting over three hours from the towing company my insurance picked for my break down on the road. My husband and I chose to try Imperial. Russell was our driver. He was professional, fast and was always in contact and quick with updates after our first call.

I have not been able to get our vehicle due to circumstances and of course with COVID-19 on the rise and my Ill and disabled mother who's on dialysis risking and being a high risk individual to this disease, whoever answers the phone at "imperial towing" is the rudest person in customer service I have ever encountered. I have a signed affidavit and she still insists that it's not liable and my disabled mother has to go in person to remove our property from the wrecked vehicle. And therefore she is putting a hold on the insurance adjusters from doing their jobs and myself with being pregnant without a vehicle to go to treatments and drs appointments.

Horrible rude people. Charge an exuberant amount and want to confiscate your vehicle. A simple tow off of private property less than 2 miles from their impound lot is 417.00 plus 75.00 a day storage even when they are closed on weekends. AAA fired them.

We were towed by James and he found us in our remote location with no problems. He was friendly, kind and even though you don’t want to have to be towed, it is sometimes inevitable. We highly recommend this service.

The worse server I’ve ever has. Because my car has been recovered after being stolen, I have no choice but have to deal with them. No work office, no card accepted only pay cash. When I came to the address to take my car, they came with computer and everything worked right on their car. They make me paying first without knowing anything about my car. When I want them to explain and want to know more details, they rudely and impatiently said if I don’t want the car then just go.
Well I have no choice, but if you can choose which tower service to use, don’t ever choose this.Jun 12, 2019 -
They try to charge fees for access to personal property which is against state law. Do not pay the fee, you have a right to your property. They attempted to hold my drivers license, refused to answer the window or phone to give it back, one employee made the mistake of coming back into sight of the pickup window but would not answer, when she realized I was recording the situation she quickly ducked out of sight and crept up to the service window to shut the blackout blinds. Had to call the police to have my property turned over. When I saw that not all of my items had been returned they went back in to "check" for it but would not allow me access and they never returned with the rest of the property after they saw that law enforcement had left. Will be taking them to small claims court for stolen property and damages.

I was looking for IR services, even though Imperial Wrecker Service is not affiliated with (IR services) she was able to help me get in contact with IR services.
The lady informed me that people always get a Imperial wrecker service confused with IR. So she had the information handy to help me find my car.Jan 29, 2019 -
