Friendly staff. Took car in for inspection, wait wasn't long and has small store that sells drinks and some antique items displayed. Actually enjoyed going there.
The service is always quick, and the staff is friendly. Prices for an oil change are lower than other places in Socorro (I've called and compared). I like that it is a family owned business. Supporting local feels especially good.

I have been a customer for over 15 years at this location and I would always leave with a good experience. It's unfortunate to have to rate this place a one star rating but I need to because bringing my car here I ended up with a costly mechanic repair. I Brought my car for a state inspection and I ended leaving this place with a broken part. After my car passed the state inspection which was no surprise since it's fairly new (2016) I noticed my turn signal lever was broken. This hadn't happened to me anywhere ever so I was confused as to why my car was acting weird when signaling. However, I was on my way to work and I don't live in Socorro so I didn't turn back. My State inspection was conducted by Christopher Sanchez , I don't understand how he broke the signal lever, he might have pushed the lever too hard on the wrong direction. He never said anything about it and my car passed the inspection. He should've been honest with me and I wouldn't be upset about this as I am now. For years I been coming here with his dad Fernando Sanchez and had never experienced anything bad until this last visit with his son at Socorro Shamrock. The repair was estimated at $1200 at the dealership. The part alone is $500. Please take care of your property and avoid this location if you have a fairly new car. Dishonesty shouldn't be part of the customer experience in any business.
Fernie and his Son took care of my truck's problem right away in a very professional way. His son is an excellent mechanic whom takes time to make sure i understand what problem my truck has and what the solution is. and all with a smile.
Great prices, great service, and very friendly staff. They don’t look for stuff to sell you on like other places. Will definitely be taking my car there from now on. Don’t go anywhere else!
