I went there for the first time and I askedif this shop works with transmissions and was told yes. I knew and I explained the problem, but I paid $140 for a diagnostic, only to be told that they do not repair transmissions and only recommend full replacement. This should have been clearly explained before charging for the diagnostic. The lack of transparency was frustrating, and I would not have agreed to the service had I known this in advance. Chris was great. My family owns a garage in my hometown and I can attest that their labor was very reasonable (they didn’t gouge based on the book value), their turnaround was phenomenal (24 hours for a walk-in that needed a lot of work), and they went above and beyond to try to give us a veteran discount, which was really appreciated. Thank you Chris for taking care of us and know that you've earned our business from now on!
We have used Argyle Auto Care several times and we have been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and the friendly staff. We highly recommend them to anyone needing auto repairs!
Please avoid this place. It saddens for me to say this as it's been the place for me, my wife and family to take our cars to. I'm not sure if they have new management, but their quality and customer service went way down hill.
My mother-n-law took he car two months ago to have headlamps replaced with newer versions. After taking the front bumper off they realized they have the wrong lights. No big deal, they can order them... right? it's been two months and they claim the wrong lights been sent twice, her car is still sitting in the parking lot with no headlamps and bumper. On top of that, it took her to follow up numerous with status. After tired of waiting and not having a car for TWO MONTHS, she asked them if they can please put her car back together so she can atleast use it while she waits for. Easy enough right? Nope, they stated she will be charged $350.00 to put the car back together and then another labor charge when the lights come in. They had zero understanding that they held the car captive for two months with zero work done. I went in to talk to them and I received the same "oh well" response. I ended up leaving with the car that has no front bumer or lights, so now I will be putting the car back together... and still no headlights. WASTE OF TWO MONTHS.
When my aunt was heading back to KS, she got a nail in her tire right away. She stoped at Argyle Auto Care and they got her right in and didn’t ask for payment! Thank you so much for taking care of her and getting her on her way!
Called first thing in the morning to get appointment for oil change, said come anytime after 10:00 am and no appointment needed. Showed up at 2:00 pm and they said we only had one technician working on a drive shaft and can’t do it. They wouldn’t even try to fit in an oil change. Not the first issue I’ve had with Argyle Auto Care, they’ll never see me again.
I have been going to Argyle Auto Care for five+ years. Today I was told I had to reschedule after showing up 5 minutes late. Came back only to sit for a full hour before they told me they could not do my oil change. The last time I came in they told me they “forgot” my car was there after sitting for well over an hour. Shame on me for coming back after that.
Judging by the reviews it looks like other folks have the same thoughts that this is not the customer service they used to have. I would not recommend using them at this point.
I have taken both cares to Argyle Auto Care for several years. I am 100% satisfied with their professional services and advice. They never push for an over sale!
The Crew at Argyle Auto have taken great care of my vehicle for the past 3 years. They make every effort to schedule necessary repairs and maintenance the minute I call them and they check in with me afterwards to be sure all is well. I wouldn’t consider taking my car to any other shop.

Recently had my 2015 Buick Encore repaired, when went to pick it up noticed damage to the front bumper. One of the front desk employees came out and took a picture of damage. He said would inform management and someone would be in touch. Two days later no response, so I called and was told to go get an estimate and let them know the repair cost. My thought was great Argyle Auto Care is going to pay for the bumper damage to be repaired. Estimate was delivered to them, four and a half days went by and no reply. Again I had to make contact only to be told that the owner said they would not pay for the repairs but would give a credit for future auto repair. That amount offered was barely even a quarter of the repair estimate which felt like a slap in the face. I requested the owner give me a call, guess what no contact.
Argyle Auto Care is very reliable and trust worthy. I went to them after getting a high quote from another shop that wanted to do more on my car than needed to be done. They fixed what was needed at a more reasonable price. They went above and beyond to make sure my car was taken care of.
It where I take my cars. I like them. Great staff. Good at fixing things. It’s the automotive shop we were all used to 15-20 years ago. Your car makes noises. You take it there because you trust them. They ask questions. They find parts. They put them on and you pay them. 10/10
Been coming here for several years, have always left very satisfied and this time was no exception. Derrick and Chris worked with me to resolve an issue with my SUV rear suspension. After finding out that the air suspension compressor no longer worked they gave me a more affordable option as a retro-fit conversion and I couldn't be happier with the results. Rides just as good if not better than before, I saved over $1k and now I don't have to worry about costly rear suspension electronic or electromechanical failures/repairs moving forward. They even provided a complementary ride svc to pick up my vehicle from the shop.

For the first time EVER, I don't dread getting an inspection, oil change or other repair BECAUSE Argyle Auto is kind, clean and honors time. They are appointment only which means I have a time slot dedicated to the service I need and if it's an oil change or inspection, it's convenient enough to just wait instead of coordinating a ride. I'm pretty sure in the several years I've been using them I haven't had to wait much more than an hour, unlike the dealership. As my kids got their first cars, I felt comfortable sending them to Argyle Auto so they can handle their own oil change and inspections.
Battery died in Flower Mound, got a jump & called Argyle Auto at 4:45 pm. Went straight to AA and they replaced our dead battery! In 15 minutes we were on our way! GREAT service at the end of their day! We have been using AA for years and we will continue! Very appreciative!!
Looking for a reputable business closer to home, have used AAC several times over the past few months. Competitive prices and the staff is very professional. Anyone having issues with the staff really need to take a step back and evaluate their own behavior.

The work is exceptional, and the service is unparalleled. The staff is kind, warm, and always thorough in explaining the work they recommend and its corresponding pricing, as well as detailed instructions for ongoing care and maintenance.
I personally far prefer supporting a small, locally-owned business rather than a big chain, and Argyle Auto Care is truly the best of the best. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I have an 09 Ram 1500 I recently bought, ended up being more work than I thought. This is very rare I say this about a shop, the guys up there have worked on my truck 2 times and have made me actually feel good about spending around $1,400 with them. They are very communicative, transparent about what they are doing and why they need to. They even replaced a burned out blinker that I had without me asking and without charging me. It's the little things like that; that will keep me coming back to them.
My two most important qualities in an auto shop are trust and dependability and Argyle Auto Care has neither. Dropped my Honda off on Friday for an oil change and diagnostic. Did not call me with an update or say its done or tell what I owe so my car sat in their garage all weekend. No professionalism or customer service. I picked it up on Monday and just wanted to pay and get out. Still no feedback, no call, no text, no email, and no information about what they found on my car. This was their second chance with me after they wanted to replace my entire exhaust system on my truck for a couple of thousand $$ so I took it for a second opinion at a different shop in Denton and they repaired it for a couple of hundred $$ with a weld. Would not go to Argyle Auto Care for a state inspection.
3rd time to use Argyle Auto Care and they communicate well, work in a timely manner, have great customer service, and my car has been legit every time. I'm glad a found a trustworthy company to take care of my vehicle needs.
Outstanding service! Derek was great in helping facilitate the communication between my extended warranty company and me. He provided detailed information on what maintenance needed to be done now and helped game plan the work that should be done in the future. All work was completed promptly and with expertise by the technician Berry. During checkout, Chris was very patient with answering my questions. My truck now drives better than when I bought it! Highly recommend Argyle Auto Care. I will continue to see them for any maintenance needed on all my vehicles.
I moved here a little over a year ago and this place has serviced all of my vehicles. It started out very good. The work performed has always been top notch. However, more than once now, the customer service agent has been rude and condescending. Getting vehicles serviced should not be so frustrating. The man is rude and I'm just done here. The first time it happened, I thought maybe the guy was just having a bad day. Clearly not so. Sadly taking my business elsewhere, as I'm not going to be talked down to like that when I'm the one paying. There are other shops wanting my business.
Used to love this place. It's two doors down from where I live so super convenient. And the people there were always good at explaining what your car needs vs. what it could use. Now it's impossible to get in same day. They're pretty much appointment only. And when I explain what's going on with my tire pressure they tell me its $128 for diagnostics not including repairs. I just feel like that's a lot. I hate to take my business elsewhere because in the past they've always been good to me. But now it's so hard to get in and they don't even sound confident that they're able to fix my car.
These guys are awesome! When I moved to this area I was worried about finding a new mechanic, but everybody recommended Argyle Auto Care to me, and I haven't been disappointed yet! I've taken both of my cars here and they always do a great job. Probably the most trustworthy mechanics I've ever been to. If you ever have any questions they will explain it all to you. They even helped me out by going through my warranty company get some parts fixed. I know that was probably a huge pain on their part but they still did it for me. My parents and both of my brothers take their cars here too. They have GREAT customer service. And it's a really nice shop too.
