Sold a car in June through them and am just now getting payment on 12-4-24. And on top of it they wont mail out the check they make you go pick it up after waiting for 6 months. Embarrassingly bad company. As of 1-13-25 I have still not been paid and I spent an hour on the phone after being transferred 5 times just to be told there is nothing to be done. Most the people who work there are very rude or very apologetic. The first and only time I will ever use this company.

Terrible Experience - False Promises and Horrible Customer Service I am extremely disappointed with Copart. They made false promises and completely failed to deliver on time. I had to call multiple times just to get updates, and each time, I was met with unhelpful and dismissive responses. The customer service was the worst part of it all. The representative I spoke with was the rudest lady I have ever encountered—she refused to answer my questions and even hung up on me when I tried to get clarification! The car, which was promised to arrive within a reasonable timeframe, was delivered over 72 hours late. To make things worse, when it finally arrived, the driver’s seat mat and seat covers were missing! I had specifically left a note requesting to keep the license plate for immediate road use, and they didn’t even bother to do that. This experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. I cannot recommend Copart after this ordeal—poor service, lack of professionalism, and zero regard for customer satisfaction.

Christmas presents, medication, mail, season passes were stolen from the vehicle. Everything was rifled through we even found the trash from where they opened the presents and medication bag. Manager was prepared with an excuse that it could have happened before the car made it there. They even told us before we went out there to let them know if anything was missing. Im seeing a lot of other reviews that say the same thing. We have made a police report. I have also filed a formal complaint with my insurance in hopes that they will stop using this lot.

Unless buying an auction car I don’t think anyone wants to be there, kinda like the dmv. All the staff was awesome but the company policies were weird, I could only get what I could carry out of my totaled vehicle, lost a few hundred worth of stuff since I couldn’t take a bag out with me, then the fork lift guy wanted to see my jail id? Never been to jail. lol! Was in a lot of pain from the wreak and didn’t have the energy to fight it but the whole thing felt like I was on some kinda of late night tv show. Props to the folks in the office! May we never see each other again😂!

Online scheduling system needs to be properly reviewed. It’s just a time waster. Be sure you don’t have an important appointment elsewhere before intending to come here for any serious business. Copart needs to get things straightened up with their customer service attitudes.

They put all of their customers wait outside in 108 degree heat due to COVID-19 restrictions. Their is scan that you need to do and wait in line outside in heat. Main issue I had was that hall was nearly empty with plenty of space. There are 5 people waiting in heat with that much space inside

Front desk sucks!!! I came in, I waited the line doesn't make sense. After about 5 minutes when I worked my way 2 the front the girl finally tells me I must sign, she could of told me that first. How was I supposed 2 know, I mean their was only 2 other customers there. I get a text to go to the desk but they call someone elses name right after that & tell me 2 wait my turn?? Then some other guy doesn't know what to do so I'm helping him like if I work there or something. Another guy shows up & I end up explaining 2 him & helping him. Smh

I came to this place to grab all of the things out of my totaled car. I had a baby with me because when I called, they said I could bring a baby as long as she was in a carseat. Turns out, I cannot. One star docked. However, the manager(?) working in the front was super nice and accommodating. She had someone bag everything for me so all I had to do was transfer it to my car. They made sure I was taken care of, and the wait was minimal.

Two stars. One for older lady at the front desk(unfortunately don’t remember her name), the other one for younger lady that sits by the entrance(don’t remember the name, sorry if you read it) . Both were nice to me and helped me with different issues that I had. Overall for my limited exposure to the customer service FRONT DESK ladies were pleasant to deal with. Minus 5 stars for making verbal changes to their preview hours. Actual preview hours limited to 8-11 twice a week if I got it right. Nowhere on their website or Copart app does it say anything about that policy. ALSO YOU MUST NOTIFY THEM ONE DAY IN ADVANCE VIA EMAIL(that you most likely don’t have). Otherwise you may be traveling for no reason. Luckily due to older lady coming to my rescue I was able to take a look at the car. BUYER BEWARE you call them before you arrange your travel.

I've been trying to get a car that we bid on; no one has the decency to explain to a first timer the process for paying and picking up the vehicle. We've been coming two days in a row and have no success, plus the staff is no help at all, including the supervisor. They just point to a QR code, and that is it figure it out yourself. They do not take responsibility or own their mistakes, they are very good at saying "if you would have given the title to me, I would remember " or "if you would've asked me, I would remember. I heard the same thing from three different employees, the two days I've been coming. Will see what happens tomorrow. All I know at this time is... this is the first time and last time I bid on vehicles at this place.

Very bad service! Went in from Copart Wilmer, TX location to pick up a $17.5k check and the idiots did not release the check to me! Grand Prairie, TX location said the Wilmer location hadn't updated the title from pending to secured. The front desk associate did not even try to figure out the issue! These 2 yards had me traveling from one to another in this artic cold weather! Very bad service from both Copart yards! Very incompetent staff and bad coordination!!

I bought multiple cars in Copart but I'm still waiting for the title on this specific Copart Branch. The process was very pleasurer: I Paid Online, The car delivery was in only 2 days, everything excellent service. Stephanie Ramirez told me that the title is in the office and I can pick it up but I'm out of state, so she did the process to send me the title, but unfortunately, that was 3 weeks ago. The car delivery only took 2 days and the title still waiting more than 4 weeks to send to me. The call center usually takes 1 hour on holding and finally, they say can't do anything. That does not make sense: 2 days to deliver a car and more than 4 weeks to send a title. Why do the title staff do such poor service???? After so much excellent service, they can't send a title as a normal company!!!

Phenomenal service. Caroline and the other ladies there were very kind, helpful, and informative. I went to copart to retrieve my belongings from a totaled vehicle. The downside is apparently once they figure your car is totaled, they don't treat it very kindly. A car that was totaled on the right side only had a fallen dashboard by the time I got to it. The windshield had totally caved in as well.

This place has the slowest workers ever! I waited almost an hr for my car to be brought to the front while I watched someone that came after me get their vehicle brought first. Then there is a loud mouth black woman who sits by the front door who flirts with all of the black men (that's probably how the guy got his vehicle brought before me) plus she is super loud. I hope I never get put in this situation where I have to come back here.

This place is so slow it’s worst then the going to the DMV. The staff are very unsatisfactory they can’t keep anyone, they all look like they hate there job. Look at all the negative reviews to being with if you have to hire someone just to keep up with your negative reviews obviously there’s something wrong with your business. They constantly change there policies on how to even pay the own staff can’t even keep with it anymore. They make buying car in till a very difficult matter especially this location here is the worst. The owner should be a shamed of running a company like this.

Worst place to be. if you have a whole day to waste you can be there @ 8 and hopefully you will be served by end of the day, after scheduling your appointment thru their Copart kiosk which keep saying 15 min for 3 hours and then jumps to 2 hours wait time. talked to manager about it. He pretty much told me. " It is what it is and nothing can be done". 30 people in que and 2 staff to serve them. May be they are low on employees and too many customers all the staffs are rude and zero customer service.
