This place is scam. They stool my money. I bought a fuel pump and it turned to be not the same one I asked for. When I asked for my money back they make a scene and refuse to give me my money. They offer me to make some changes to the old fuel pump to make it work. They are a joke. Please stay away from this place. I wish I saw the reviews before call this place. Every single word written from fellow reviewers was right. This is not a legit business. It’s a scam. I guess this place will have no customers and closed, if they keep same management. Especially the guy at the front desk. Any way! Will never go again to this place or recommended to any body. Plus I will report them for steeling $125
Dowelpin for transmission was missing exhaust bolts were broken no record of milage not really helpful after driving a hour and half won't be going back
Absolute joke of a business. Went to Alamo looking to buy some high-dollar parts, and these clowns refused to even let us see them. Like hell I’m dropping serious cash without making sure the parts are in good condition. Staff was straight-up rude, acting like we were wasting their time. sketchy business and I would never trust them with my money.
Soon as you walk in they don't even say hi. They yell "mask". Well, I had to respectfully go next door where they don't care if I have a mask or not. Just like the owner has responded here, you're free to go to dozens of other salvage yards on the same street (according to me that are friendlier than them). So rude but I didn't argue with them. I wouldn't advise anyone to come here. Keep shopping there are plenty of choices.
Charged on the pricier side for a spare tire and ill-mannered front desk despite being polite. Definitely a toxic environment. Will look else where before making a purchase here. Will not be returning due to snaky customer service.
I stop in store he ask mask . I tell him I'm in Dallas tx no mask need but I'm in his (store )ok. but he come too me in dangerous way ?? I don't now that owner. Manger . how this?that not way or good coutmer service.
It looks like they don’t want to work, they requesting a mask !, if they really care about health they can give an option to provide mask for free or money since it’s junkyards area and the closest shop at less 3 miles, or let your customer check out the parts outside at junkyard but not to enter the office without mask, or you can tell your customer who calling you to bring a mask, for sure you don’t want to work and it’s not my job, but you don’t have the right make people driving 30 minutes and wasting their time
Extremely rude and crass. They say they have a part and when you get there its never what you asked for. Think twice about visiting this shady place. If I could give negative stars I certainly would. Extremely rude salespeople.
The worst customer service ever. The guy that answered was really rude!!! I was not done asking what I needed to ask and he just hanged up! Don't waste your time on rude people/service.
Imagine getting tons of reviews describing the guy at the desk being rude and inconsiderate, and then responding saying that the customer was in the wrong every time, and then still not having the intelligence or self awareness to realize that you need a reality check.
It's funny how when you look the reviews here the most popular key word to sort through is "rude" and other terms to describe how terrible they are.
The "man" behind the desk is clearly a very ignorant and small minded "man". As he has clearly stated before, he is doing just fine business wise and there are plenty of other junk yards to do business with. So please do, this company is a terrible representation of this industry and deserves any losses coming his way.
This Mexican was the most rudest person I have ever meet today 7-30-21 he said I need a mask to conduct Bussiness in his establishment I said we are not required to mask but I’ll wear a mask if he provides it since his making decisions for my health he said I need to get out because I’m trespassing I wanted to take a photo of his business card and he jumped with covering his business card like u see here I called the Grand Prairie police department but left because they didn’t give me an eta please don’t spend ur money in this establishment let’s get this place bankrupt or start listening to their customers this kind of attitude is unacceptable

Called on Monday to see if they had a rear end for my truck. They quoted me $550 dollars and said yes they had it. Since I am in Oklahoma I asked them if they could send my insurance company an invoice. They said no we cant send an invoice till the item is paid for. I said can you send them a quote so that I could get the Insurance company to issue me a check to pay for it. They said they would send it never did. Called back 4 hours later they said they were sending it but never did. Called them back and said can you make sure the rear end is ready for pickup and put my name on it for Friday.. They said yes they could do that. So long story short called Friday and they said it was ready. Drove all the way to Grand Prairie to pick it up. When I got there told them my name and what I was there to pick up and they said we don't have anything under that name. But we will send a guy out to see if we have it. 30 minutes later the guy comes back and says we don't have that rear end. So in the case here you see they are not a good business to deal with.
Really bad customer service. Depending on who you speak in their office rules change. On the process to purchase a transmission, on their web site info is missing mileage so called customer service. One of the reps was able to provide VIN number so I could research history. Unfortunately wrote the number bad, when i called back to get the number rectified another person denied to provide VIN number. The new rep denied to provide VIN number again with an attitude. Told him they have provided several times in the past, he called my a liar.
There is no reason to have this kind of customer service. Something so simple unless they are traying to hide something?
If this is the sales process I don't want to find out what comes next during warranty, exchange or delivery process.
I do not recommend buying in this place.
Terrible experience, very rude staff, terrible employees, overall a terrible place to get any parts from. The employee is very rude and ignorant. A fraud employee who doesn't even listen to the customer. I was being very polite and he was being very disrespectful. I don't recommend doing business with this company anymore.
Terrible experience here, I’ve been a long time customer and I was very disappointed in this last experience, the individual that helped me was very disrespectful. Always rude to customers. Won’t recommend doing business with this company at all. I’ve called multiple times to speak with the owner and the same individual picks up and says he is a manager then proceeds to get disrespectful and even went to the extent of calling me from multiple phones and cussing me out. Very very disappointed
If there was a zero star, I would give. The fat guy is always rude. Would not recommend, do not believe whatever they tell you. They're only interested in your money.
This place has so many selections for used quality car parts. My third time buying from here and definitely worth the drive from Austin. Buy with complete confidence, plus the staff seem to really be as professional as possible.
Bad behavior with customers, they are very unprofessional, they don't know how to treat customers.
I have many bad experiences with them, one day I arraived 30 minutes early they closes they said we don't want sell with bad behavior.
One day I called for one of part and asked for color they attended my call and said come and see I can not tell u the colors. Same experience happened with my other friends.
This is the most terrible place I’ve ever ordered for auto parts in the US.
Bought an engine from them all the way from Africa and paid trusting them to deliver a working engine but to my greatest surprise they sent me a knocked engine.
By the time it got here (Nigeria), it was discovered Crankshaft is bad, connecting rod broken and inside the engine terribly black.
When they were called all they could say was there’s nothing they can do about it.
I gave one star because I must give one according to google.
If you need value for your money please don’t transact with Alamo autos.
Three experiences here so far, each one was a winner. Staff was quick to pull parts and was willing to negotiate a bundle deal for me. Very happy with Alamo.
These people will flat out lie to you. Do NOT trust them or their parts. Had a part shipped in that looked like it was run through the crusher before it got here. Ship it back to them and they refuse it....total waste of my money! I gave it 1 star only because Google made me...
Get ready to get ripped off... They sold me the wrong year hood and refuse to help me out and hung up on me twice. Worst service in the world. I would have been happy with at least half my money back but lesson learned, will never be back to that dump.
These people are a joke. when they have a variety of transmissions from the same car they price them differently. you call them and they say they have the cheapest one but when you get there they tell you its not there no more and they try to sell you the most expensive one. makes no sense they just waste peoples time and try to take your money. stay away from this junk.
