Once again, this business exceeded our expectations and my wife and I have agreed we will not go anywhere else for our automotive repairs. We would have saved thousands had we let Mc Cannic Shop perform all our repairs in the past.
For instance, our Expedition's AC has been repaired multiple times at another shop and pretty much each year, something or the whole system has to be replaced, with no labor or parts covered under any warranty.
Mc Cannic Shop quickly replaced our vehicle's AC with lifetime warranty parts and assured us if anything goes wrong with the system they put in, the labor will be covered also. That alone would have saved us so much money and hassle in contrast to another popular shop we have used. The owner also found some other things on our vehicle which had not been repaired properly by a local shade tree mechanic after a deer collision and fixed what he could while in there at no charge.
This business stands by its work, delivers on schedule, and charges more reasonably than any other mechanic we have dealt with in the area. I attribute this largely to the owner's many years of experience.

I was quoted an estimate but the final cost of repairs ended up bring 30% higher when finished. However in spite of that it was less than taking my car to the dealership.

The nicest people you will ever meet me and my sister had a blow out right in front of there shop pretty late on New Year’s Eve they were already closed and didn’t have to help us at all but they stopped what they were doing just to help us and then didn’t even charge us this was so much appreciated they don’t even know how much they helped us thank you guys for being awesome!!!
We had a flat tire two miles north of town and the car doesn't have a spare tire. They got there and took the tire and patched it. I'm on my way home 1.5 hrs later is awesome and he is a Army veteran too.
I had car problems as I was leaving to go back home to Glen Rose after visiting my parents there in Evant one Sunday night. Not wanting to risk driving it home, I stayed the night hoping that the Mccanic Shop could take a look at my truck and repair it.
So Monday morning I called Vernon and asked if he could squeeze me in and he said yes bring it in. Less than an hour later he had accurately diagnosed the problem and replaced one of the coil packs and had me on the road back to Glen Rose.
I will only take my cars to this man right here! With other mechanics in goldthwaite they were rigging my car to come back in, every single time it was a new problem and more money. At the Mc Cannic shop in evant that doesn't happen! He is honest and beyond fair on pricing. Again, I will only take my Tahoe, Challenger , suburban and Audi to him and no one else!!
What an awesome company with great people running it. My son with family in tow had run out of fuel and broke down about 4 miles from town. I made a call to this shop asking who I could possible call to get some fuel to them and without hesitation they volunteered to take care of it for me. Within a few minutes they had taken fuel to him and even followed him the the service station to make sure he arrived safely. The price was beyond fair and we cannot thank them enough for their service. People like this are few and far between in this day an age.

The best place to get your vehicle worked on. I grew up in the area and live in Houston now but get 80% of my vehicle work here done here. Great service and great prices.
Our van broke down literally in front of this shop! They got us going again with a new alternator in less than a hour!! What a blessing! Friendly service and reasonable price.
I was passing through when my water pump froze up just east of their shop. It was about an hour and a half before closing, they helped me get to their shop and immediately went to work on locating a water pump which they did. They were very friendly, courteous and I never once questioned their integrity.
