I took a used car to this shop to do a pre-buy inspection, and they saved me almost $10,000 from buying a car that had a ton of problems.The car had a completely flawless Carfax, which I found out, doesn’t really mean a lot without an inspection from a good mechanic. Some of the issues that would have to be addressed would have been very expensive on top of the 10k that I would have paid for the car. William, the owner is very professional, truthful, prompt and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this business to anyone needing honest advice. if I could leave more than five stars I would!

My brakes and rotors were done today and I couldn't be happier. From now on I will be bringing all my auto work here as well as recommending family and friends. Its not easy to find a good honest shop so I'm glad I found this one.

Took my BMW there for a resonator delete and it came out great. No exhaust leaks or anything. Had a good experience with them and highly recommend. Customer service is great and very manageable with time.

My "Check Engine Light" lit so I went to Autozone in Frisco for a diagnostic test. It showed a PCV had to be replaced. I ask Ethan if he knew of a good repair shop and he recommended Prosper Automotive (PA). PA did another diagnostic test and found that the Manifold Gaskets may be crack causing a leak in pressure, the same situation the PCV does. Mateo, the mechanic at PA replaced the gaskets and also checked if the PCV required changing...it did not. I'm very pleased with PA's repair services. The cost of the repair was very reasonable and the establisment were very professional. I highly recommend this auto repair shop! Thank you!!

As a woman who has terrible luck with cars, I had determined that all car mechanics are my archnemeses. However, these guys proved to be the exception. I took my car to three different places before coming here and they were all a waste of time and almost a waste of money. It took them less than five minutes to figure out the problem my car was having and I ended up leaving without a dent in my bank account. They were all straight forward and honest and just really cool dudes. From here on out, they’re the only mechanics I’m going to trust. Bonus: two super cute shop kitties you can pet:)

William got my MBRP exhaust installed for me today while I waited. He was very detailed and with Mateo’s help, they got everything lined up and installed perfectly. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

This man fixed my lifter... fast forward a couple months... the same lifter is broke again!! Not too mention, when I asked for my brand new battery back, he called prosper pd and said I was threatening him to get me to stop texting him.. I'll remove this review when my 2000+ dollars are returned to me, and if that don't happen, court.. do not do business here

William and team once again took care of me very quickly and got my daughter’s AC working on her Volvo. He has gained a customer for life. Highly recommend.

Check engine light came on and I took my Subaru to the Autozone in Prosper. They ran a diagnostic and sent me over to the Prosper Automotive. Gentleman at Autozone said he trusts those guys to take care of you and are honest. I went and spoke with William Owen. He was awesome. I told him I had an appointment at the dealership the following day. He ran another diagnostic and showed me what was going on. He spoke with me about how to make sure certain pieces were covered by my warranty. He also told me to come back with whatever they suggested I fix knowing that, most of the time, dealerships want to do everything and isn’t necessary. He was patient, explained everything, and as a teacher and coach, I appreciated him. Will be back!

I have spent well over 1000 dollars to have my vehicle repaired at this shop. I have had more issues now than before I took the vehicle in to be fixed. I thought after speaking with them this last of 3 times that we could get a resolution and what we got was a temporary fix and the same issue is back but worse. I’ve reached out and no response! I’m beyond upset due to the amount of money we have paid and will have to pay to get this resolved.

Truly the best place I've ever taken my vehicles. They are extremely transparent about the whole process and have a great system. I have taken my car here twice, and each time the visit was superb. Employees are down to earth and easy to talk to about issues unlike other places. Will come back again, and I will always recommend this place.

I have brought both of my vehicles here and have not been disappointed by the services that were provided. William and Mateo are both kind and very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. They were fast and extremely reasonable with prices as well. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for any kind of repairs that are needed to be done. William did a great job on my car. He was very responsive when reaching out to him. Fixed my O2 sensor last time and wheel bearing this time. My car is very rusted so i know it probably wasn’t the easiest job but he got it done!! Thank you!!

This is a great automotive repair shop for Prosper and the surrounding areas. William is exceptional and his knowledge is deep great prices, and full service. They fixed my truck for less than half what I was quoted at the local Chevy house! I highly recommend this auto repair shop to anybody. You won’t be disappointed!

Contacted William about a coolant leak on a Land Rover that belonged to a friend I was trying to help out. Dropped the vehicle off and it was repaired in a timely manner. I discussed additional issues/concerns that were brought up by the driver. William checked the vehicle and confirmed there was only one issue and other concerns were found to be in good working condition. The issue was also resolved very quickly. I and my friend will definitely be making Prosper Automotive our place for any future repairs.

Hands-down, the best auto body shop in Texas! Yep I said it and I stand by it. So glad to have found this place. I cannot speak highly enough about this place and more specifically about the owner, William. He is fantastic. Knowledgeable, extensive industry knowledge, highly skilled, Fair pricing, honest, impeccable service, and they guarantee their work. This is starting to sound like an indeed job post because those are qualities you expect to experience but can’t really say of most auto body shops. I had general maintenance that I needed as well as a mysterious leak in my vehicle. The guys were able to get everything taken care of, perfectly and timely while charging a fair price. Ultimately, I see why everyone is so loyal to his services. We now take all of our vehicles here and would not think about bringing them to the dealership or anywhere else.

My car overheated and Will and his team was able to take a look at it and solve the issue within an hour. The price was super competitive and they even threw in a free oil change. I’m so grateful I found a trusted mechanic. I will be taking all my cars here from now on. Thank you gentlemen!

I just had the most incredible experience with Mr. William Owen and the guys over at Prosper Automotive. William is a rare gem of a human and business owner. He is incredibly honest, knowledgable, and supportive. William's entire team is hard working, and highly skilled. Just a great group of guys. If you are ever in need of any automotive repair work, William IS THE GUY! Trust me. Prosper Automotive is now my forever go-to place for all vehicle repairs. I am just absolutely blown away.

William and his team were so helpful and professional, and saved me time and loads of money! I had an issue with one of the latches on my hood, so while driving the hood would slightly raise. I had a quote for $375 from a shop that included parts and labor, but that seemed a bit extreme when I priced the parts on my own and realized I was being charged 4x the price of the parts. My friend referred me to William and he was able to repair my hood in one visit, the wait was short, and it didn’t require any new or replacement parts. The work was done efficiently and he didn’t try to take advantage of me due to my lack of knowledge or expertise on car repair costs. I paid under under $75 for the repair.

William worked on my dad’s Honda Civic car today, there was a critical issue with gas tubes, he saved our life and fix in no time at a very reasonable cost, he is a lifesaver. Will definitely recommend him to anyone

William is THE BEST. I had my car towed there today and he replaced my alternator in just minutes! I was amazed. He was professional, helpful, reasonably priced, and answered all my questions. He even stayed after hours to do the job so we were able to pick it up tonight. So grateful to know there's an honest and capable auto shop nearby. ☆☆☆☆☆

Great place for all needs. William diagnosed and rebuilt a front end and cooling system at fractions of the cost dodge would quote and stands by their work. He is will work you in if you need and has awesome customer service. Great local business in prosper.

William was God sent. I have a 2018 escape I bought for my daughter. Check engine light came on. Took the car to meineke and diagnosed it as misfire from spark plugs and engine is going out. Only way to fix is is to buy a new engine. I reached out to William at prosper Automotive to inquire about used engines. He gave me quotes. I later asked him if the misfire from spark plug could buy me more time. He asked that I take the car to him for diagnosis and that maybe I don't even need an engine. He agreed to do this for free. I took the car in this morning and first thing noticed engine overheating coz there was no Coolant or it was too low. Oil is too much. Checked everything and fixed whatever the issue was. Filled up my Coolant reservoir for free. My car now drives well with no check engine light. I wanted to pay him but he said no. I really needed this. Someone honest, caring, and kind. I will definitely go back to him over and over again for all my future automotive needs. If you need open honest opinion, William with Prosper Automotive I'd your guy. Thank you so much William. William is an awesome mechanic! He took one look at why our vehicle was overheating and fixed it. Didn't try and talk us into replacing the radiator like there other mechanic told us we needed to do. Best mechanic I know. My family and I have multiple vehicles and have tried multiple dealerships and mechanics over the years and every single one either failed at diagnostics and or repairs or just blatantly lied in order to over charge me, my wife or my son for parts and labor I didn't need. William is the only mechanic I trust because he finds the problem and repairs....no lies, no overcharging, no BS and he backs his work. Thank you Will for everytime you've repaired my vehicles and everytime you will in the future!

Took my Grand National to the shop and William started on my car right away and got her running within a few hours of work. They are awesome, skilled, and are great at communicating with their customers. Take this as a sign to go to Prosper Automotive if you want the best care for your car. This isn’t one of those franchises that will charge you an arm and a leg for a repair.
