Our technician, Jose Rodriguez, was very professional, knowledgeable, polite, and pleasant. He called ahead to alert us to his arrival time, and he arrived when he said he would. He took care of our dead battery problem in no time at all, towed our car to our place and even did some additional tests on our alternator. After I called, Urban Towing Plano arrived to save me from being stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire in a matter of minutes. My time behind the wheel was shortened by the technician's prompt, friendly, and competent service.

Do not use this company if you are trying to save money. The drivers were very nice nothing against them, but this company is a rip off they try to make it look cheap then you end up paying more than you were told or expected. They sold their services through the phone as $59 flat to assure their men would get to me and $48 to get the car on the tow, they said the first 5 miles are free, every mile after that would be $4. As a single mom in a bad car situation that sounded like a very good deal that wouldn’t break bank, so I was dumbfounded when they handed me this bill with all these hidden fees they never mentioned. I can assure you this was not a 32 mile tow , my car was only 4.6 miles from my home, but they did come from Frisco and I was in Plano. They should say that they charge for the time/ milage of their drivers to you it could save a lot of people in bad situations a bad experience, and a bill that you weren’t expecting. We are already dealing with a pretty stressful situation as it is, it’s not fair for them to make it worse with all their hidden sneaky fees when they should be helping

What a morning! My transmission finally went out this morning, so I called Plano Tow Company and paid $180.00 via a link they sent to my phone. 1 Hr later, still no tow truck because they did not dispatch per agent. I end up canceling Plano Tow and called Urban Towing. They told me they can get a truck out in 30 mins, so I went ahead and book and paid $89 (service call) over the phone. I asked the agent at Urban Towing how much will it be, but then the agent says, it varies. I was told, if the driver came, and I am not there and they may not able to access my car, it could be more, or if the driver have to use special equipment, then it maybe more. I told them, my car starts up fine and can drive up to 20 mph. I know it is quite a distance to have my car toll from Parker and Preston, Plano to McKinney - Virginia Parkway and Custer; therefore I asked for the exact total because Plano Tow was able to quote me. Urban's agent told me it will be around $190 and no more than $200. When the driver arrived, my bill is $293. They also charged me for "convenient /dealerships drop off fee" when in fact I was requesting to tow to my house. I also questions about the $25 special equipment fee, and the driver told me because the tow truck is a flatbed, he will need to use chain to keep in from moving? Isn't this part of towing? I had no other choice. If I cancel, then I lose $89 for service call. My Uber was there. DO NOT use this company.

Called them to take my car out of mud. They told me that service call will be $99 and $45 for basic towing and driver will arrive in 30mins and cancellation charges would be $80. After waiting for an hour called them again and they said that driver got stuck in traffic will be there in 30 mins and offered me $20 discount. While waiting other towing truck offered me the service for $75 but already waiting for them and due to their cancellation charges i decided to stick with them. Driver showed up after 2 hours and 30 mins from Christopher tow service and told me he was at another job that's why he is late. After they pulled my car out they asked me to pay $300 more minus the $20 discount. Remember i already paid $99 over the phone. I argued about the pricing so he refused to return my car keys until i pay him the remaining amount. I called Urban towing about this and they were rude and told me to talk to Christopher tow service. While i did my search about Christopher tow service i came to know they are doing same thing with all their customers in past. I provided my card information to Urban towing and they shared my info to Christopher towing without my permission because i see i got charged by Christopher tow service on credit card. I never recommend this company.

Urban towing is Reliable company. You can always count on them when you have car issues and need your car transported. They are Honest and price also affordable because they understands the situation you are in. I will always use this towing company no matter where I am.

These people are garbage . Will never call them again. Gave them my card info and the driver calls me 3 hours later after being told the driver would give me a call. Never got the call until after I called back. Waited and was lied to. I was also given a $20 off over the phone but at time of actual service the greedy liars acted as if it never happened. I'm glad others were satisfied but I wouldnt urinate on them if they were on fire. Worst tow company experience I've ever dealt with.

Very nice and polite. Allowed me to ride bk in the truck. Acted a perfect gentleman. Opened the door, and even laid his hand on the my back to brace me as I climbed my short self into my seat. Nice classic r&b music really calmed my nerves and listened to directions. THANK YOU SIR

Great Towing Service!!! My clutch burnt out right before I got to work. I was able to get to my work's parking lot but I couldn't leave. I called Urban Towing up and in under an hour they were loading my bike up and taking me back to my house. Hopefully my bike doesn't break down again, but if it does I know exactly who to call.

Whether I need a tow for my car or my friend's car, they are always able to dispatch someone in a timely manner in order to help us out in any situation. Pricing is great and I always recommend them to my friends who are in need of a tow or any type of roadside assistance.

Man I cannot express the major help this company did for me. At the point of being stuck in no where land I thought I was close to death, jk, but seriously I was exhausted and just wanted to get home. No company could offer me better service than yours! At the moment I spoke with the dispatch I knew I was in good hands. To no surprise the truck driver was as happily to help as were the dispatch. He also let me ride in his truck which many companies do not allow. Nevertheless I appreciate your service. Not cheap, that says it all you get for what you pay for. Very well professionalism! My day would have gone much smoother if I had just called these guys first. The phone call was pleasant and efficient. She routed her tow guy and he called me back immediately. He said it would take 15 minutes, but he was there in ten. They are clean and professional. They even made good conversation while I road with them to my destination. I hope I never need a tow service again, but if I do, they are saved in my contacts.

This company is a rip off. I was quoted $89 and 3 mile. My car only was towed .8 miles and was charged $202 with a $20 drop off fee...what the hell is that. Juan the driver is a the worst. Would not use this company. One star only because you can not leave zero

Not pleased at all. Called to get a quote of about how much it would cost and was told around 60 for tow plus about 40 dollars for labor and all. Then about another 2 or so dollars for every mile. I only needed to tow ot about a mile and a half to my mechanic. So in total i was quoted about 100 or so dollars for the tow. After everything the driver charged us 220. Very deceptive company. I understand additional charges depending on the circumstances. But this was a simple tow that was no more than 2 miles and I was charged double of what i was quoted. Save your money... there are plenty of better and cheaper amd faster tow services around. I just didnt have the time to do my research since i was in a hurry. Its crazy to think that the tow cost more than the damage to fix my car. Unbelievable!

Hard sell. Rush to get info. Name, number, credit card number, address. Boom boom boom boom boom. Told me $55 for the hookup plus $35 to 50 for the tow, plus milage only if you leave the city. The driver calls and tells me $55 for the hookup, $65 for the tow, plus $3 / mile. When I call back, the operator confirms what I thought it would be and I tell him the driver said different. He puts me on hold and then comes back and repeats what the driver had said (the different quote) and says, "That's what I told you it would be" when not three minutes before he had said what I quoted at the beginning of this second call was right. Then he has the nerve to be impatient with ME because I'm pissed that they are changing the quote on me because they knew I really need the tow. "Look, do you need the tow or not? If not, I need to send my driver somewhere else!" Don't call these people. They will quote you one price then jack it up and be rude about it in the process. BTW, if they give you a range of possible prices, you should only pay attention to the high end. That is what they are going to charge you.

Was very disappointed with the service was told that my card would be charged $40.00 because the driver from the towing company managed to jump start my car decided to check my account and was charge an extra $59.00. This company is a rip off should have used a different company. Will never use them again.

A technician by the Name of Moti provided the best service I have received in quite a while. As I was stuck and stranded in boiling point heat conditions outside, the 30 minute estimated time of arrival due to road conditions and traffic given to me by the company was accurate. Once he arrived on site he was friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this company for any road side assistance emergencies or even for non emergencies for future references.

I called this place and asked about towing a vehicle since this was my first time ever dealing with a tow company and the guy over the phone told me that it would cost about $126 so I set it up not knowing that once delivered that I would have to pay $298 total for a 2 mile tow! Bad as it is people are barely making it but to be overcharged for a 2 mile tow is ridiculous. If the price isn’t what was discussed over the phone then why does the company charge a different price and more? I want answers.

Great service. The gentleman that answered the phone was informative, polite, and overall extremely helpful. I called around 2 and set up an appointment for 3:30(with an hour window) that day and the drive arrived around 3:45. He was personable, efficient, and very respectful. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Today I needed 2002 Toyota Camry towed less than 3 miles. I was quoted a max price of $125 but after they had towed the car the price was raised to $198. The reason given at first for the price increase was because the car was in a parking garage which it was not. When I told the office on the phone that the car was never in a parking garage the reason changed to special equipment was needed to tow the car. No special equipment was needed to tow one of the most popular and basic cars on the road.

We recently had a fuel line problem and due to the danger of that, we were unable to drive the car. We called Urban Towing. They were professional, knew their business and towed the car. Extremely pleased with their services in Plano TX! Very Recommended!!!

The shoddy guy on the phone will refuse to give you the right estimate for their basic service. He will tell you it's $90 when it is really about $130 plus $3 per mile.
